This is a true hideaway!! Be prepared to drive a 7 mile twisted road to your cabin. Very quite. Nice place to walk. Best to take a few snacks or coffee for the morning because it’s a hoof to town.

Loved this little cabin! Perfect for a couple. Cute clean the outside yard was sook big! And loved how they accomidated all 3 of my dogs. Super friendly & repsonsive host. It was alot farther from the sequoias than i thought and there is no nearby restaurants or shops so just fyi. But overall loved the cabin and host.

Secluded, quiet and beautiful night skies! We stayed in cabin 2 and the bed was comfy, there were plenty of towels and the kitchen had plenty of pots, pans and dishes. This was the perfect spot for some astrophotophy and stargazing.

Fantastic getaway! The cabin is deep in the mountains in the best way possible. Close by to the park entrance (Sequoia), quiet, and has everything you need to rest and recharge with nature!

The cute cabin was very clean and the description was accurate. Love that it was pet-friendly. Check in was easy and the detailed instructions for driving there were easy to follow. Nice walk up the (very quiet) road with gorgeous views, into the NP (closed to cars). It is quite remote so driving out and into the NP by the main gate takes about 30 minutes. Kitchenette was well equipped. The one thing we would have changed was more blankets on the bed - it was a thin coverlet and was not clear whether the gas heating unit should be left on at night.

Mineral King area, near Sequoia, is so beautiful. The road is long and winding, so you should look online to see what you will be driving. I drove it 6 times up and down and got used to it. The cabin is small but clean and good. It is off the grid so the power and water can be sporadic, so prepare for that. The host is great. Ask questions before you go so you are prepared as much as possible in advance. We did not do that and wish we had. It is a real adventure and if you like that, you will love the experience.

Great cabin. Off the grid. 0 service. Bring lots of flashlights incase power goes out/off. Dont get too much groceries at a time only what will fit in mini fridge. Very very thin, winding, narrow 8 mileish road to get up there. Mentally prepare for that! But the view is beautiful. Bed frame was very noisy for a light sleeper but the bed was comfortable. If you’re used to more support definitely bring your own pillows! Great communication from the owners. Quiet besides critters. Beautiful stars.

Beautiful stay we were greeted by 2 big bucks (deer). They left and came back around dinner time. Everything worked good the place is off the grid so you just have to be careful with your power consumption.

The address provided to me was not the correct address. Upon arriving to to the address provided, we quickly realized that were were at the wrong cabin. ( and keep in mind we drive up and down the most narrow, unkept dirt roads ever) There’s no service for the last 30 minutes of the trip, which we were not informed of). There were absolutely no addresses posted on any of the properties. After driving around aimlessly for over an hour my elderly mother became car sick and we had to turn around and go home, and cancel the entire trip. I lost close to $1,000 after paying for the cabin that we couldn’t find, all the food for the meals, the babysitter, the dog sitter, and the gas I wasted. After driving all the way back home I looked up the address provided on google earth, and you can’t even see a cabin or bungalow or hut or anything where it says it should. ZERO STARS. I’ll definitely be taking my business elsewhere.
