Secluded mountain view cabin near Hocking hills

The cabin was really nice and less than a 10 minute drive from court street. Would definitely stay there again.

The house is perfect for a trip to Athens!

The house was located on a beautiful property just north of Athens and comfortably fit our family, but there were significant cleanliness problems in the kitchen. We advised the owners so they could take care of it - which they said they would do after we left - but it did impact our use of the kitchen.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are comfortable and the house has so much space. We enjoyed the beauty of our surroundings, especially the night sky while relaxing in the hot tub. The host provided clear information for check in and check out procedures. Would definitely stay at the rental again!

Great private cabin with plenty of space.

Beautiful property close to Strouds Run State Park. Property is well kept, clean, and has all the extra amenities that make it so easy and enjoyable to stay here. Was great to enjoy the scenery, the hot tub, and quality time with friends!

My friends and I got together for our fantasy football draft at this cabin. We do this trip every year and move around to different locations all over Ohio. After this weekend, the whole group was discussing making this place a permanent fixture every year moving forward! It was a wonderful experience in a large cabin with a ton of living space. There was room for people to be on their own schedules, spend time watching movies or outdoors. The location is great with a short drive down to Athens for breakfast or cooking supplies as well as parks/trails just around the corner. Fire pit is very cool and we wish we had used it more over the course of the weekend. Drana is great and very responsive. We were low on some house supplies and she insta-carted them over instantly! Great host experience. We did feel that the internet was not able to keep up with the demand at times. It was very spotty throughout the weekend for most of us, so might not be the best location for serious gamers. We were a little stressed with buffering during some football games, but everything worked out. I liked the chance to put my phone down at times and focus on the nature and company. Overall, a 5 star place and we cannot wait to go back!

It is a wonderful property, and accommodated our large family reunion very well. All family members agreed that they thoroughly enjoyed the property during our stay, and would certainly be open to a repeat stay.

Our checkin was super easy, and entry to home was uncomplicated! spacious with plenty of room for all to spread out for various activities; Theatre down stairs was a hit! Host was very generous in supplying paper products, and soap! Great vacation!

Nine of us OU alumni stayed in this house for our first reunion in Athens in about 20 years, and it was perfect. Beautiful house, spacious bedrooms and common areas, plenty of seating, excellent air conditioning, and a nice sense of seclusion just a short drive from uptown Athens. Tip for future visitors, not every restaurant will deliver there. But Avalanche Pizza will, and that’s really all you need isn’t it?

Lots of space for 17 of us. Be sure to bring a couple of fans and bug spray!

This house has it all for any kind of entertainment you want, home theater, billiards, board games, and a hot tub with a lovely view of the cliff side! I would book this house any chance I could if I’m ever back in athens, thank you for the amazing experience!

I would definitely recommend this place for a large group. The house is spacious and well appointed. The hot tub was great and the listing was just as described. Super close to downtown Athens.

This lovely house met all our needs. We ranged in age from 40 to 90. Easy access for 90-year-old, she even made it to the fire circle up the hill with assistance. Appreciated the walk-in showers. Kitchen was very well equipped including a spice rack. Easy access to state park and town for supplies. We enjoyed hiking on the old logging road. Fall colors were gorgeous from front porch. We are likely to return.

This was the best rental property we have stayed at in Athens, Ohio. As bobcat alumns, we love coming back to visit and this house surpassed all of our needs

We will be staying again when visiting Athens! Great property set in the woods with walking trails and many amenities! The owners were excellent to work with and all ages (up to 75) enjoyed the stay!

Great stay for a big family! Plenty of room to spread out. Dining room was perfect for board games. The pool table and movie room were great ‘getaways’ for the kids without disturbing others upstairs. The lake is only a few minutes away and we loved the kayaking and beach. We will be back
