Secluded Mountain Cabin, Wheelchair/Powerchair Accessible

Cabin was perfect for our stay. A little difficult to find but the owner was extremely helpful. We enjoyed the stay very much!!!

The place was quiet and calming, which I really enjoyed. All the windows brought in a lot of beautiful sunshine which was great. The porch was nice too. The bed and the couch were uncomfortable. It was mostly clean but we kept finding bugs dead and alive inside the cabin. Overall I believe it was a good place to stay to get away from things.

It is very cozy and comfortable place.

Everything was great, the host was very nice. Recommend 10 out of 10.

Hosts were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Loved the walk to the creek! Our dogs enjoyed being able to run around and play in the fenced in area. We had fun playing pool, watching movies, playing board games and going to downtown Blue Ridge (3 Sisters Fudge) and Mercier Orchard. We also enjoyed making smores in the fire pit!

This was our second time staying here, and again it was great. Clean, secluded, great communication from Mrs. Joyce, beautiful views and walking trails. No complaints at all! The handicap amenities worked out great for the mother in law that hasnt been able to visit the mountains for a while. Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone!

Joyce was very friendly and quick to respond to messages. The cabin was very clean, nice, and just right for our group. The creek is a very long hike down and very strenuous hike back up, but we did it! This was my first time using VRBO to rent a place and Joyce made the experience great!

Cabin was nestled in the woods at end of a road - perfect for our long weekend. Enjoyed the short hoke diwn and back to the stream behind the property. Liked that it was pet friendly and the cabin well laid out with sleeping accommodations on three levels.

The property and location and hike to creek on property was excellent. The house, furnishings, amenities were just average and somewhat dated. Check in process was easy and good communication with owner.

This property is amazing! I cannot be around chemicals or any type of tobacco smoke because of migraines. This property is TRULY secluded- and gorgeous in every way! Joyce was willing to help us, although everything was set up so well we didn’t need to give her a call. But we wouldn’t have hesitated to reach out. Besides being gorgeous, we loved the short hike to the creek (it was a good one for us Floridians who needed to use leg muscles we didn’t know we had!!) the picnic table was great, we took some fun pictures and enjoyed the pool table and Yahtzee! Our teens had a blast - loved the downstairs and the loft! So fun! Our daughter had online exams and was able to do her studies downstairs without distraction and she had no problems with the WiFi. A binder is available with fun activities and a map! The porch! My favorite place in the world! You just have to see it to understand the peace and tranquility waiting there for you. Everything was clean and cozy, we felt right at home. All the “things” are there. Extra TP if needed, towels, hair dryer, washer & dryer, coffee maker- it even has a fancy side for those who make bougie coffees. This cabin is a must see! If we stay in this area again (which we hope to!) there will be no hesitation - we’ll be coming back here! :)Thank you!!

Over all the family enjoyed the cabin and facilities. It was relaxing and comfortable. We would definitely consider this facility again in the future.

Last minute getaway to unplug before school and this place hit the mark! Kids loved playing pole and in creek. It is a bit of a hike uphill on way back from creek but great exercise!

We have a fantastic stay! The kids loved the creek, sitting by the fire and making s’mores and playing pool on the pool table. The cabin is great, had everything we needed! Just be sure to bring charcoal for the grill if you’re planning on grilling anything.

We enjoyed our stay and when back in the Mineral Bluff area, will stay again. My grandchildren especially enjoyed hiking to the creek. The house was beautifully furnished, clean and quiet.

We were only there fir 2 nights, too short. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and serene and close to everything we planned on doing. Would definitely like to revisit.Joyce and Larry, thank you.

We loved our stay at this cabin. The first floor was completely wheelchair accessible, even onto the balcony, which was great for my step-father. The cabin was clean and well stocked with anything needed for cooking. The back yard is fenced in for fur babies. The location is very quiet and peaceful, and the view from the balcony is beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

We ended up staying at a different cabin altogether. That's why this review isn't totally accurate. I will say that the owner of this cabin, the one we were supposed to stay at, was exceptional. There was a problem with her cabin where no one could stay and she found another one very close and took care of the booking for it.

Pics do not do this cabin justice! It is beautiful! Very spacious, great location and had plenty of ammenities. Larry and Joyce answered any questions promptly. Only negative is the number of beds is incorrect. The listing states bedroom two has two beds. A queen and double murphy bed but it only has the murphy bed. Wasn't a big deal though as there was plenty of room for all our guests. Would definitrly recommend and stay here again.

Amazing host and amazing place worth the book!

I’ve stayed at many beautiful vacation homes. And this one ranks right up there. But what separates a home & the experience is the host. Joyce was the nicest, most accommodating host ever! She offered for us to come a day early due to an impending snow storm. She knew we had our handicapped mother with us. To have an accessible cabin is rare & Joyce was just so concerned about our safety. I cannot say enough nice things about the cabin! The beds weee super comfy! The Murphy bed was amazing! The dogs loved playing in the snow in the fenced yard. And the views were just breathtaking. Go visit Joyce and the Little Cabin in the Woods. You won’t regret it. We can’t wait until we come back!

Home was clean and the location was outstanding. Host was easy to reach and responded quickly.

The cabin was beautiful and so peaceful. My daughter and I enjoyed our time to help unplug from life. It was very quite and relaxing.

This is an amazing property with great amenities (pool table, DVDs, books). The owners are friendly and the location is unparalleled for peace and quiet. First floor including bathroom and shower are completely wheelchair accessible.

Beautiful cabin at end of the lane for complete peace and quiet. My elderly Mom needed a place with accessibility and we were very happy we stayed here. Great communication from the hosts. Highly recommend!

Joyce was a pleasure to work with during the whole process.. she was kust leaving the house when we arrived. She had blown off the driveway making for a nice welcome.. the layout of the cabin is perfect for 6 people even though we had 4 ladies. Wish had more tome to just sit and enjoy the house and surrounding. We'll be back welcome

We stayed here for my wifes birthday weekend just for a little private getaway with our little girl. The house was very clean, and the perfect size for our trip, but would have plenty of room for another family. We really enjoyed the walking trails and thebeautiful creek. Mrs Joyce was very welcoming and even went beforehand and babyproofed the house a bit to help us out. Very kind host. The long driveway also has nice scenery on the way to the cabin. Will definitely be booking again in the future!

We enjoyed this cabin so much. We will definitely be back when we go to the Blue Ridge area again. Very secluded. Not another house in sight once you get to the cabin. Our boys loved the fire pit. They had everything we needed to start the fire and even sticks to roast hotdogs and make s’mores. There is a creek on the property that our boys really enjoyed exploring. The path down to the creek was much farther and steeper then I thought it would be. Please note that mamaw and papaw probably aren’t gonna make it down there and back. About 15 to 20 mins from downtown Blue Ridge. Overall great place for a family with kids.

The cabin itself is so beautiful very peaceful quiet and it was very clean. We met the owner by chance and she's very nice and the cabin had the best toilet paper and shower rug and towels and we felt very at home there and would not hesitate to go back.

This cabin was the perfect get away place for me and my people. It is far enough in the woods for privacy but only about a 15 minute drive in to town. It was very clean and cozy and had the easiest check in/check out process. The back deck with the rocking chairs was my favorite part. Overall this was a perfect stay and just what we wanted.

The cabin was great. It was handicapped accessible and that was a plus. They want to return to same cabin next year

Lovely cabin in the woods that was comfortable, very clean, well equipped. Very easy for handicap accessible. Owner couldn't have been nicer and made sure we had all that we needed. Cute little towns within a short drive for activities. Only drawback for us was the walk to the creek was too steep for handicap.

Great location, feels secluded but not far from anything you need. Host was very nice, left a great booklet with local information. Beautiful cabin, lots of room

Loved this property. Secluded spot but close to town. The cabin was clean, beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything you could need. Will definitely be coming back to this property!
