Our whole family had an amazing stay. This was the perfect cabin for the whole family to enjoy. This will be the first rental I'll check for in our next stay at grand lake.

We had a great family trip and would definitely return. We loved how secluded it felt/is, but yet also close to anything you may need. We went on several different hikes in the area and loved it!

We had five guests and were celebrating three 65th birthdays. The house was very clean and the best supplied I have ever stayed in. Everything in the home was comfortable and we had a great time. The views from this house are incredible.

Amazing views, very clean and well maintained with helpful on the spot notes around the house, thanks to host!!Great location to skiing, hiking, shopping.The indoor games provided some great family laughs as well... and the elk herd that joined us for breakfast was a reason to wake up early treat.

Clean, good amenities, and cozy.

Views are perfection. I don’t get up early for a sunrise, but staying here I did a few times!! The instructions say they only give a couple days worth of supplies, so I packed dishwasher soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper and paper towels—good news! They were more than generous and provided enough of all those items. Numerous tvs. We don’t have any Netflix or Prime, but my kids were able to figure out how to watch movies on their tvs. The shuffle board and ping pong table were a hit. That, the hot tub and bunk room were what cinched the deal for me. If my kids wanted to, they could all sleep in the same room. In years past, they didn’t want to be apart in a strange house. The bunk room is in a walk in closet with a curtained door off a large room with a king and queen bed. It’s right off the loft and the kids toy room cubby in the eaves. It’s a really nice set up! You can’t see or hear any neighbors. You can open up the doors and feel the breeze and see the lake. Community Church of the Rockies had a nice service Sunday morning. The rec center had a decent gym my boys worked out in a few times. They let my younger son (10) shoot hoops for a bit without charging us. There are some cute shops in town. We made a few impulse purchases. Adams Falls was an easy, short hike. Would love to go back when the weather allows for skiing or lake activities. This trip the weather was perfect, but the ice was melting on the lake and there was no snow. Thank you for opening your home!

The cabin was incredible! Such an easy booking process in a beautiful location. The beds were so comfortable and the sheets were so soft! We will for sure be back!

We had a great time, from the time we arrived to the time we left. The views were spectacular and the house breathtaking. The host had everything we needed and then some. There were days we didn’t want to leave the house. This was our first family trip to Colorado and it won’t be our last. Thank you for great memories for our family.

We booked this cabin primarily for the views and the privacy. Both far exceeded our expectations. The sunrises over the lake were nothing short of spectacular. The full moon ascending over the mountain was absolutely glorious. Once fully above us, the moonlight illuminated the lake, glittering diamonds dancing on the water. A herd of elk welcomed us as we first arrived at the property. I knew at that moment our stay would be absolutely magical. Once we stepped into the cabin we were awed by the authenticity of this well appointed family home. We’ve stayed in plenty of vacation cabins which are decorated tackily like secondhand furniture from someone’s basement. From the cabin logs, to the artwork and decor, the fireplace and that kitchen that has utensils you didn’t know you needed. There was nothing missing from this beautiful home. If we could award 10 stars, we absolutely would. Our host were welcoming and attentive. The cabin was absolutely spotless. We hope to come back for years to come.

Our 10 day stay in September was great.This well appointed cabin on 7 acres allowed forpeace and quiet, and an amazing view of Shadow Mountain Lake and the mountains. We saw some elk and mule deer, and even a distant visit from a bear. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will definitely hope to return.

We had a wonderful stay to unwind after a tradeshow in Denver. The cabin was in a great location so close to Rocky Mountain National Park, and was clean, well-stocked, and extremely comfortable. Highly recommend.

This home was the perfect size and location for our trip. 8 of us enjoyed the property, games, fully stocked kitchen for homemade meals, and the access to the lake was less than 5 minutes for fishing and kayaking. The host Maureen was responsive and accessible, the check out and in instructions were clear. The home was perfect for our group. Will definitely keep this home in mind for any future group getaways.

Great secluded property that feels far away but is close to everything you'd want to do in the area. My wife, father and 2-year-old son had a blast and look forward to returning to the property!

I am not sure how you get a better property in the Grand Lake area. Spacious and clean, close to town, amazing views.

Our family of 6 (four kids 8y-16y) had an amazing time at this super clean and fun-filled cabin. Amazing views and so much to do! The photos are truly accurate.So many games to play together, yet also enough space for us to have time apart. Kids loved the downstairs game area while the parents enjoyed the scenic quiet views on the deck and living room. So peaceful and serene.All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were also spacious. A wonderful cabin that we definitely will be returning to!

If I could give it more stars I would. This place is amazing. It’s perfection. Don’t miss out on it ! Location, cleanliness, views , accommodations are all fantastic. Best family vacation ever ! If we are blessed enough , we will be back !

This place is off the charts! We stayed here a week and it was no long enough! We saw mule deer, Elk, chipmunks everywhere!! The house is Amazing would rent it again without hesitation We took our Granddaughter who’s 8 and two Grandsons 17 & 16 We went fishing almost everyday caught lots of trout ( delicious) Such a fun vacation !!

The house had everything

Our family of five stayed here in May 2025. This home was very clean, spacious, and full of amenities. The extras that were provided, like a starter supply of essentials and kitchen condiments, were much appreciated. We were amazed by the gorgeous lake view easily seen from the front deck and yard. The wildlife (deer, elk, moose and chipmunks) walked right in front of the house daily! This home is a 5 minute drive to downtown Grand Lake where lots of shopping and dining is available. The west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is less than a 10 minute drive away. We loved it so much that we wished our stay was longer.

This property was incredible! The cabin was beautiful inside and out! And so much bigger than the pictures show. It was also stocked with everything imaginable. Our family definitely overpacked. The view from the deck is something out of a dream! We saw from that deck Moose, Elk, Deer, chipmunks. It was incredible to watch all that wildlife up close. We played ping pong, cornhole, shuffleboard. So much to do here! The hot tub was in mint condition believe me I'm picky when it comes to hot tubs ;) Checkin and out was simple. The town of Grand Lake was also really neat and the people were so friendly. Can't wait to come back!

My husband and I along with our adult children and their partners stayed for a week at this wonderful cabin. The location was perfect! We were 5 minutes from town, but had all the privacy we needed. A moose or two visited us each day along with marmots, chipmunks, and deer. The cabin was super comfortable. We cooked every night and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

We absolutely LOVE this property, the family-friendly environment The Betz’s have created along with the peacefulness and seclusion are top-notch. There are detailed instructions available in the cabin or on your phone for everything! Zero confusion checking in & out. Such a wonderful experience. We cannot wait to return!We went the first week of April. The weather was phenomenal. I feel like we got a well-rounded experience each day.

We just enjoyed our 4th stay at 7 Acre Wood! It is always a perfect experience. The cabin is clean, beautiful, and has everything you could possibly need. You could truly never leave the cabin property and have a wonderful vacation. We will be back of course!

Great spot, well kept.

I’ve rented many houses. This one tops them all. The house was cozy. And stocked with everything needed to cook any meal. Sledding down the driveway was a blast. The house was so secluded it felt you were miles away from civilization. We’ll be staying here again for sure.

This cabin was so peaceful and beautiful! Sledding down the driveway was fun! Hot tub was great! Ping pong was a blast! They had everything we needed. The only sad thing was we didn’t see any animals. Oh, well, maybe next time!

The pictures of this property don't do it justice. It's a beautiful, well appointed cabin with every amenity covered. It was close to all we wanted to do and we enjoyed the views from the deck. Would absolutely stay here again!
