Secluded Hidden Heaven Vintage Cabin on Strawberry Creek, Walk to town

Absolutely a beautiful, cozy cabin in the woods, yet within walking distance to Town. We loved having wine and cheese on the back deck overlooking the brook. Looking forward to our next visit!

Spacious cabin with plenty of common seating and a deck on top of a picturesque creek. We spend hours out there exploring, throwing rocks and just listening to it. We enjoyed walking into town to grab groceries and see the sights. Perfect playground next to the creek if you have little ones. Only negative was check in process. They hit me with a contract the day before which just protects them, which I had to read on a phone since they didn’t sent it in advance and I was already on vacation. After that I had to go through an online verification process day of with spotty WiFi which was frustrating. I wish these property managers that use Vrbo would just stick to the Vrbo process, since it’s one of the reasons I use this platform. That was the only negative. The property was amazing and if we do another trip back we’ll check out its availability.

This cabin is so beautiful and whimsical. The creak and trails are amazing! We are booking another trip very soon! It is the cabin experience of a lifetime! San Diego guests.

- Kitchen had all typically needed items for breakfast, lunch, dinner.- Outdoor BBQ functional but flimsy / rickety feeling had a massive fat flare up as it hadn't been cleaned for a while. If they just replace the BBQ I couldn't fault the cooking facilities.- Very hot water throughout for shower and kitchen.- Super fast and strong WiFi.- Excellent location just a short walk into town- Enormous deck- Gorgeous trees and delightful burbling stream

Highly recommend! This is truly a little slice of heaven, you feel private and secluded but can easily walk to town along the creek trail. Clean and cozy accommodation and a great escape for some tree bathing and relaxation.

This was our first time to this lovely town. Upon arriving to Hidden Heaven and entering this very charming cabin we felt like wanting to sell our homes and settle in Idywild in a home like this. We plan to return again and again until that day comes.

Wonderful cabin. The cabin was fully stocked with amenities. The view of the creek and outdoors from the deck was amazing. You feel totally secluded, while still being a short walk into town. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Everything was so amazing. Location, cleanliness, so many things available. I just with we could have checked in early to enjoy a full day there. 4 pm check in is late compared to other places. But I loved it! We will definitely rebook.

Our stay was wonderful. The place is very comfortable and well maintained. Nestled in the trees with plenty of shade. A classic cabin in the woods. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment and basic necessities. Having the creek within view behind the deck is wonderful.

Enjoyed our stay on Strawberry Creek. The house was perfectly located for the mountains and well stocked, including games and puzzles on a rainy stay at home day.

Weekend to discover Idyllwild...great cabin to fix meals; enjoy a fire; have our own bedroom/bath; and large room for game playing, TV/movie watching; reading nooks; and enjoy family.

We wanted an older rustic style cabin with a great big stone fireplace. A cabin that felt like a trip backwards through time. Hidden Heaven is precisely that! Everything about this cabin was nostalgic. From the fresh smell to the warm thick blankets available for you to wrap yourself in during the cold nights. Also, it’s location! Less than a 10minute walk to the center of town via the trail path behind the cabin. We cannot wait to stay again!

The only suggestion I would make is the lighting needs improvement. I know we're going for cozy cabin lighting, but I needed a flashlight to cook and do a puzzle in the middle of the day. Just upping the brightness on the bulbs a little would make a big difference and make the stay even more enjoyable. Another thing - we accidentally locked ourselves out upon arrival because we didn't realize the doorknob had an automatic lock on it, and there didn't seem to be any Plan B for that circumstance. Luckily we were able to resolve the situation on our own, but otherwise I have no idea what we would have done because it seemed that no one was available to help at all. It seems like an emergency plan should be in place for this kind of thing.

We stayed here for a wedding that took place at the Harvey House up the street and it was super easy to walk to and from the venue. The house is adorable and you feel like you’re staying at grandma’s house. Very cozy, very clean. I accidentally locked myself out of the house and they had someone there to let me back in within 15 min. The creek behind provided a beautiful background when out on the patio. Would definitely stay here again.

This lovely cabin was tucked into the hillside overlooking a creek. It was a beautiful setting, secluded but close to town. There was a nice nature path behind the cabin that took you to town. There were 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms that allowed each couple their privacy. A good place to read by the fire and enjoy nature.

The creek in your backyard Full of birds, fully stocked kitchen, Very comfortable beds and bedding and hot showers. They could use Some higher powered lightbulbs. Every spice you could even think of is there. It is furnished as you would expect a law car cabin with the modern conveniences.
