Secluded Cabin on the Hill in the Hocking Hills

Great location, clean, quiet & remote. Great host!

This place is the cutest! We had a 4-person trip for our couples weekend and had a blast. The pictures simply do not do this place justice, it is seriously adorable. Everything was very clean, and the claw foot bathtub and the hot tub were perfect for a winter weekend. There’s also an Amish marketplace only about 15-20 minutes away that is definitely worth checking out. Hope to stay here again soon!

The Cabin is fantastic and my kid loves loft and ladders. And we love the hot tub outside at the down stairs and feel like Hot springs in the beautiful nature. The cabin is maintained well and cleaned well. We had fun and comfortable staying in Thanksgiving Holidays! We want to return in a different season. Thank you, Owners.

Exactly what we needed for our small group, everything was very clean and essentials were easy to find and thoughtfully organized. We loved that we could order fresh baked goods, they were delicious! Perfect amount of quiet, birdsong, and relaxation. We would happily stay here again!

Great stay definitely would go back

Brenda was incredibly responsive to our questions. The cabin had a feeling of being at home. We loved the secluded area, yet it was a close drive to hiking trails and restaurants. The stairs on the inside could be tricky for those with mobility issues but the outside stairs were easily accessible.

Everything was just as we expected and better- very cozy and warm cabin for a snowy weekend in.

The host went out of her way to help make sure we could check in a little early on a cold day. The cabin was so cute! We had an amazing time as a family.

Very clean and private! Beautifully crafted cabin. I loved the walk to the pond and the views were to die for. We had the craziest thing happen. My call was answered promptly and problem solved within minutes. I would love to stay again and will definitely recommend.

Cabin was great and an excellent way to detach from day to day. We went for our 11th anniversary and it was just what we needed to relax and unwind. Sitting on the porch swing in the morning's with coffee was very relaxing and the hot tub at night to relax achy muscles was very nice. It was secluded and not to difficult to find. Thank you for the hospitality.

We're in town for a birthday trip for my twin you had an excellent time.

Property is well maintained and the labels on the switches are all very helpful. Shower had plenty of hot water and the hot tub was very nice.

Loved the cabin, even though it rained for a portion of our stay we were able sit out on the porch swing and still enjoy the view. And it's not far from most of the trails or somewhere to get supplies either. Had a minor mishap with the AC leaking, but the Brenda was there immediately to fix the problem and was very polite, kind and friendly. It was a great birthday getaway for me and my family. 10/10

I had an amazing weekend with my sisters. This property is so fun and unique. The stairs were for sure an adventure! We absolutely loved every detail, and I never wanted to leave. You’ll have the best trip with this cabin!

We really enjoyed our visit to the cabin on the hill. The property was beautiful and the hosts were incredibly kind, responsive, and welcoming. The only complaint we had was the temperature control on the main floor. The cabin was cute, but the AC unit could not keep the main floor/loft cool.

My friend, her daughter, my son and I stayed for the weekend. A killer storm rolled through and it was awesome watching the lightning from the porch swing. Very clean, comfortable and relaxing. I will say the steps were a bit hard on the knees and inconvenient at times but, that was all my fault for not reading the posted details accurately. It definitely didnt take away from the trip. The pond was a nice little walk and the hot tub was incredible. Communication was perfect and my son loved hanging out in the loft. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin! Loved everything about it! The pond with the singing frogs were peaceful. Loved the porch swing! Although we couldnt stay out there long the bees were a bit much. The overall expierience was amazing! Hot tub was great also! I LOVED relaxing on the huge circle chair! The beds were comfy too!!

The property owners were kind and gracious hosts. The place was clean, and the hot tub worked great! We had no trouble with service and locating the cabin, tv was a little slow but it was no problem because we didnt go to Hocking Hills to watch TV.

Loved the cabin. Beautiful stay and surroundings. Would recommend highly for a couple get away. A 20-30 min drive to popular hiking but worth it!

Cabin on the Hill was a great place to rest after exploring all that hocking hills has to offer. It was clean and had all that we needed. We also loved relaxing in the hot tub after long days of hiking! The view from the front porch is great!

Cabin location and stay was just what we needed. Very cozy cabin to hang out and unplug.

The location was picturesque and just enough off the beaten path/secluded to make it feel like a true escape. Cabin has great views and ample outdoor space considering being on a hill. There is a fishing pond within walking distance, a very nice and sheltered hot tub, a fun and relaxing covered porch with swing/glider/rocker, and a small and cozy but well-equipped kitchen. Plenty of space and separation in the cabin to be able to spread out and relax independently. The indoor spiral staircase was a tad intimidating, but fine with some care and caution. Spacious laundry room in lower level was stocked with plenty of extra towels/blankets and featured a large fridge. Good communication from hosts. Rustic yet clean choice with lots of character. Would stay again.

My family loved our stay at the cabin on the hill. The home was clean and had everything as advertised. The beds were comfortable, the tap water was DELICIOUS, and it was close enough to everywhere around Hocking Hills that we wanted to visit. We had good dinners at the Ridge Inn and Laurelville Pizza. Would come back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Cabin On The Hill. It was exactly what our family needed on our getaway. Our kids had a wonderful time and so did we. Very relaxing, peaceful time together.

Great little spot. Away from it all, but close enough to attractions and some shopping if needed.Chose it for a chance to get away and telax and reset and the property made that so easy.

We couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more! We loved reading about the history of the cabin and noticing all of the little details of the place throughout our stay. The cabin was clean, cozy, quiet, and comfortable! We have already discussed making a trip back and staying here again! Our only regret is that we didn't order the freshly baked goods from the hosts menu...we won't make that mistake next time! :) little details

Beautiful property, and cabin! Come and go as you please. Interesting history of the cabin in a binder with a lot of other helpful information of the area. Clean little hot tub , perfect for relaxing after a day of going to the nearby caves and attractions. I would pick this place again!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Loved the country peace and quiet. The fire pit, hot tub and the bonus was a washer and dryer! Which was especially great since I have two little boys who “loved” the country and proceeded to get very dirty playing outside. Very comfortable stay. Nice place to get away from phones , ipads and technology in general!

Our stay at the Laurel Springs Cabin was wonderful. The cabin is nestled right in the middle of the farm on a hill. The cabin is quiet, quaint, and relaxing. The perfect little weekend getaway. We came here for our anniversary weekend. The cabin has everything needed to detach from everyday hustle and bustle. Loved sitting and relaxing in the hot tub. Our host provided us with farm fresh eggs per our request. Although it rained all weekend, there was still things to see around the area. We visited the blown glass studio nearby. Beautiful artwork. Bought a couple pieces. If you’re looking for great local homemade food, The Ridge Inn Restaurant is a must. Very good food and personable service. We definitely would come stay again.

It was everything that was stated it would be online. We had a wonderful time, looking forward to going back next time.

Very enjoyable stay, ladies loved hot tub… a/c kept us more than comfortable during the drought! Was surprised by the amount of, “feel free” items for use though not in any way promised prior to arrival. No interference during stay from ownership and was like we had the place to ourselves! Bunnies, deer, and our buddy the white cat checking in on us daily… serene and peaceful, end of story!

We've stayed many places in Hocking Hills, this was among the best. Very clean and thoughtful accomodations. The hot tub was really nice, and the view atop the hill was very cool. Directly next door to horseback riding as well (a 1 minute drive). Would stay here again, and certainly would recommend.
