Quiet but near the main road. Private and secluded.

Nice house for the weekend. Road/Drive up to the house is very steep.

All good except some bugs. Not sure how they got in but would have liked that addressed before we got there.

Such a wonderful place. The hosts were very welcoming and communicative whenever we needed it. The cabin was homey and everything we hoped for. We will be back for sure!

This is a cozy cabin. We felt right at home the minute we walked in. The owners pay attention to detail and you have all the information you need to know posted in the house. The living space comfortably accommodated our grown children when they came for Christmas present exchange. My puppies had a long driveway to walk and explore. Perfect for us!

The best way to understand this cabin’s proximity to the city while remaining a real getaway experience is this: we picked up some great wine, aged Gouda, Stilton, and some other items in town. Then drove 12 minutes to the cabin where we had to wait just a moment for a flock of turkeys to hop and flutter out of the driveway. The highway makes it incredibly convenient to quickly get where you’re going. The furnishings are incredibly comfortable and remind me of visiting older relatives. We cooked on the gas grill and in the kitchen which has a very nice fridge and I’m jealous of their water heater! We never ran out of hot water even using the upgraded shower with multiple jets. We stayed in November, which in middle TN meant we got a few 75 degree days which the AC handled fine and a few 30 degree days which the heat kept us warm as well. I plan to return!

It was very warming and comfortable. Very clean The Grandkids loved playing the games.

Fabulous property and the host was very prompt with communication.

The cabin has everything we needed for an eight night stay. The location is very convenient to get to downtown Nashville and other attractions. The cabin is clean and we lived there wrap around deck. Thank You for sharing your beautiful cabin.

The cabin is secluded and private although road noise can be intrusive. The driveway is manageable but steep. The cabin is spacious with plenty of room for guests and a cosy living room ideal for movies at the end of the day.

This is a lovely cabin and we absolutely enjoyed our stay for our annual sisters trip. We had long days in Nashville and it was nice to return to tranquility where we relaxed watching movies or playing cards. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the cabin was furnished with everything you could possibly need. We had a little issue with heater and smoke detectors but the property manager was very responsive sending someone to check on us. The only downfall was the highway traffic if you are sitting outside on the deck (could not hear on the inside). Also, the steep drive getting to the property. It was difficult to see the drive from the road and making some of the tight turns at night. We thought lights and/or reflectors would be helpful to navigate. Overall, a delightful stay!

Our 1st place I booked fell through and this one was still available. I enjoyed the peace and quiet. Very cute place. Will stay again .

Great location.

Great stay if you are looking for a taste of the outdoors while still being close to the city. Spacious cabin with everything that we needed. The deck was lovely for watching wildlife! We saw deer and tons of birds! There was a bit of traffic noise, but that's because the cabin is located in a valley, but other than that everything was great. The driveway is steep, so be ready for that. Not terrible though. Would definitely go back!

This property was better than advertised. House is beautifully decorated and outdoor areas are warm and inviting. Furniture is appropriate for the cottage style home. We were a party of five and there was more than enough space for everyone. I'm definitely going back if this property is avaliable next year. I highly recommend a stay here. You won't be disappointed.

Very pleased with our stay. Not far from Nashville so quick drive to and from the CMA fest. Plenty of room and appreciated the room to bathroom ratio as it made so much easier for multiple people to get ready. Plenty of seating and felt very comfortable. We seen a couple deer while driving in and out the area. There is a grocery store and gas station 10 minutes from the house. We had breakfast at Rubys kitchen at Mason's. Highly recommended and dont forget to try their sweet tea. We would definitely stay again on our next trip to Nashville.

Had a very nice stay at the cabin in Goodlettsville. The cabin was very nice and comfortable and everything we were looking for on our vivit to the Nashville area. Our only additional feedback would be, 1) driveway can be a challenge to locate at night. improved reflector or possibly even solar light on pole would be helpful. 2) The tanks at the gas grill both appeared to be empty. The request was for guests to fill these. Which did not seem appropriate.

We had the best time. Cabin just as advertised. Very homey. Was nicely decorated and fully stocked. Great place!

We love this cozy place. It is so super clean and feels like our homes when we visit. This is the second time we have stayed here and plan to do so again in the future.

Loved everything. I only wish the description had mentioned the pretty steep drive. Once we arrived, I called to warn my sister and she almost backed out of coming. But we had a great time.

Cabin well appointed with all one needs other than food/beverages. Nashville traffic can be challenging with frequent delays & congestion common.We enjoyed just being on the property & the Goodletsville area.

We found this property was exactly as advertised. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook and serve a meal. The host was especially quick to respond to any question we had. The road leading up to the property was narrow but we had no problem negotiating it. My only regret was that we were not there when the trees are in full bloom. It would have made the homey feeling of the cabin even better!

We loved the property! It has the cabin in the woods feel on the outside with updated furnishings on the inside. The owner was accommodating and easy to work with.

We had a Great stay at Monty’s Cabin. The cabin was as expected and was a short distance to Nashville and other areas. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Stayed for my sister’s wedding. Great location, was easy to navigate. If you have ever been to Tennessee you know places are hidden on a hill. It’s the reason we all go. Uber had an easy time to find to take us into downtown Nashville. Well worth the stay.

Everything we could have dreamed and more! The driveway is a bit of a doozy but worth it for the view from the porch!

Nice cabin off the highway nestled in the woods. Quiet. Steep drive. Be wary in winter. Everything as stated. Easy access to downtown without being in it. Only improvement needed is new beds. My poor back.

20 minutes north of the Gaylord Opryland resort, for half the price of a single room there, you get privacy, three beds, three baths, and a full kitchen. And a large deck with a grill. There's plenty of signage to ensure you're on the right track up the hilly narrow driveway just off the state road (yes, the truck traffic can be loud as they climb or jake brake on the hill there, but it's not constant - and the trees are a buffer). Once we removed the three air fresheners to the back bedroom we were not using, closed the door and ran a bathroom exhaust fan (because all the windows are labeled please do not open), we noticed no smell. For a property that allows pets (was that a pet gate or a child gate between the dining room and the living room?) there was no sign of it - the place was spotless and aroma free. The AC worked fine. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure was fine, all the appliances worked, including the washer/dryer. We never turned on the TV. Two of us used our T-Mobile data instead of the wifi (the listing does say it is limited) without issue. 10 minutes to the North are farm stands and grocery stores that we used. Getting to or returning from downtown Nashville really depends on traffic - sometimes it's 25 minutes, once it took us an hour. Other than a note on the kitchen table saying our host would collect the towels and linens for us, we did not communicate with the host - but we did not need to. We happy we stayed at Monty's!

We absolutely loved Monty's cabin! It is a great locaction...maybe 20 minutes from the attractions we were interested in. Loved the covered porch in the mornings. Darling decor!

I stayed here with two of my high school buddies (we have been friends for 50 years) for our annual get together - this year to explore Nashville). We had a great stay and very much enjoyed Monty’s cabin. It was very comfortable and with everything we expected. It’s a great location in the woods and with no visible houses or neighbors. We highly recommend it!

The house was beautiful, the only thing that would have been nice was if the outside deck furniture and swing would have been clean. Also a heads up on how steep the driveway was beautiful. Other then that the place was be

Easy to get in an out of also easy to navigate to Nashville and surrounding neighborhoods.

There were only 2 of us, so we didn't need all the space and amenities, but they are there. Full kitchen with some essentials (you'll need your own food), multiple dining areas, spacious living room, three bedrooms, fantastic deck all in a secluded, wooded setting. It's just a short distance from the highway, but you can't see the road or neighbors, so it feels more isolated than it is. It's not perfect, but is as comfortable as many hotels I've stayed in recently and has many additional spaces that you won't find in a hotel. This was our second stay, and should we need to return to the area, it will be our first choice.

The property is in a very quiet and surrounded by trees and hills but is only minutes from downtown Nashville. It was very clean and well maintained. The property was stocked with the small necessities that aided us in our stay. We very much enjoyed our stay!
