Such an incredible property. The pictures do not do it justice. Conveniently located and with fantastic views, this cabin provides a unique experience that is hard to match. The cabin is such an incredible look back in time, but with modern conveniences. The soaking tub, balcony views, and the stars above were the highlights along with the hike down to the waterfall (not to be missed but be prepared for the moderate difficulty). Wild Turkeys, Deer, and Foxes were all spotted on the grounds. Just a fantastic place to experience time passing

My husband and I had the most wonderful stay at Sapphire Heaven! The pictures truly do not do this beautifully built cabin or its view justice. We were there for three nights and made sure to enjoy each fireplace (except for the firepit, it was too windy!) before the end of our stay. Also, I cannot say enough about the soaking tub. I could have stayed in there all afternoon! The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, appliances, and utensils. The bathrooms were well stocked with toilet paper and shampoo, conditioner, soaps, etc. We only had one issue with the heat that was taken care of promptly after I communicated with the hosts. Come prepared to relax and recharge because I promise you will have a hard time tearing yourself away from the property to do anything else but sit and enjoy the view! There is a great private waterfall on the property that we hiked to on our last day. It is not for the inexperienced hiker but so worth it if you're feeling adventurous. We can't wait to come back to Sapphire Heaven in the future!

The house, and property were amazing. We explored the property down to the waterfalls, and enjoyed the fireplaces, the views and the porch. We hope to be back.

Everything about our stay was enjoyable, the uniqueness of the cabin, history, comfortable beds, privacy, soaking tub, view. Delicious restaurants nearby.

This cabin has incredible views and is away from everything ! The cabin is unique. It was Built from an old structure on the battlefields of gettysburg. Has 2 fireplaces and an outdoor area to make a bigger fire. Fully stocked with generous amounts of firewood. Nice tub outside with another fireplace! The best part of this is the view and that you are truly away from everyone ! There is also a waterfall on the property that only you have access to! This was our 3rd year in a row and we are renting it again next year.

Wow! I was told the pictures do not do this place justice and they were right. The cabin is absolutely a work of art and the view is indescribably beautiful. The sunrise was amazing. Everything was clean and very well stocked with all that you need. My favorite time was spent in the outdoor tub! We cooked steaks on the deluxe gas grill and built beautiful fires at night. Also Love the Mexican restaurant in Cashiers, but we mostly stayed and enjoyed our time in the cabin. We can’t wait to go back!

Honestly, the photos and description just dont do it justice. What an amazing place. The view...the area...the cabin itself are just beyond description! We chose this place to celebrate our anniversary and my wife's birthday. What a home run. We planned to do alot of sightseeing and exploring, but mostly just stayed at the cabin and relaxed. The assembly work that went into the cabin was just stunning. All the furniture and furnishings were so obviously chosen very carefully, and the entire package was SO cool! We loved it!! Got to see a mother bear and cub on the side of the mountain. This was our 1st visit to Western NC (we live on the Outer Banks), and we DEFINATELY chose the right place. PERFECT!!

Unique property with wonderful mountain view. We spent most of our time on the covered deck. The screened porch section was awesome during the rainstorm. It met our top priorities: cleanliness, location with great views and privacy, HVAC cooling well and comfortable beds. Also it has all the other amenities we prefer.

Sapphire Heaven blew away any expectations! No detail was spared in this luxurious and rustic mountaintop cabin. The views were breathtaking from every room and the outdoor spaces were the icing on the cake! We picked up our son from summer camp in the area and celebrated our anniversary during our stay. Perfect for a family or a secluded couples retreat!

So enjoyed our stay! We needed a long weekend to slow down and connect with nature. Sapphire Heaven is the perfect place! The reclaimed wood, cozy feel and views from the porch were over the top winners. Can’t wait to get back.

Sapphire Heaven is a very relaxing mountain cabin with well apportioned high-end kitchen and bath amenities. The unique specialites were much appreciated. These included the outdoor fireplaces with firewood, screened porch, and outdoor spa area. We were on a mission to provide our grandson some time to rest and re-charge between a very busy senior year and an even busier summer and fall. Sapphire Heaven was a big hit with him. He loved everything about the rustic vibe and decor of the home and the quiet setting. Then there is the VIEW. Must use panoramic setting on your camera to get the entire rolling mountain view. The sunrises and full moon were spectacular.This luxury mountain cabin has a heart-warming story and the owners are extremely responsive and gracious. We are grateful to them for sharing their home with us!

Marvelous in every way. Tasteful and thoughtful appointments throughout this incredible log cottage. This cabin is the real deal, hand hewn timbers, authentic wood flooring, etc. View from the back deck is spectacular, fire pit below the house is fantastic and the property is breathtaking. We will be back!

This is our second return to this cabin after about 14 years. Enjoyed sharing it with our children this time around.

The cabin is amazing, and the hosts are wonderful. They provided excellent recommendations for dining, shopping, and activities in the area. The cabin itself is beautiful, and it’s clear that the owners put a lot of effort and attention to detail into every aspect of the place. One important tip is to try to check in before sunset, as the road up the mountain is winding and there is a steep driveway leading to the cabin.

Incredible property with amazing attention to detail and character. From the two giant fireplaces to the outdoor copper soaking tub, just amazing. Convenient to Brevard, Cashiers and Highlands. Private property setting in a gated community. Can’t speak highly enough of this property!

This is our 3rd time staying in this amazing cabin and it still does not disappoint. We love the old world wood charm details sprinkled with modern appliances that blend with the decor. Everything you need is supplied and sitting on top of the world with a view that can’t be described just makes it the perfect and relaxing place. Katy is always accommodating and wonderful. I’m sure we’ll be back for the 4th time!

The property is very special. We travel to the plateau once a year and have stayed at a number of homes. This particular home is a beautifully appointed log cabin with spectacular mountain views. The cabin was perfect -- charmingly rustic style, with unique historical features, yet thoroughly luxurious and modern in comfort and amenities. The process of checking in and out was perfect, and Katy communicated clearly and responded to questions quickly. We'll plan to return.
