Great location between Pagosa Springs and Wolf Creek

Beautiful cozy home that was a great getaway for our family of four. Host was very responsive and quick to reply to any questions we had. Love the location, easy to town, easy to wolfcreek. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Our family of four loved our stay at MAC’s Hideaway! Everything was very clean and well stocked. It is just 20 to 25 minutes from Wolf creek and less than 10 minutes to Pagosa. The accommodations are very comfortable! We have stayed in the SJRV many times, and I would put this at the top of our list. The deck is right on the river and the hot tub was absolutely first class. Would definitely recommend for a family of 4 or 5!

The location of this cabin is absolutely perfect! Half way between Pagosa Springs, and Wolf Creek pass/ski lodge. We loved the secluded feel, and having the deck right there on the river was so peaceful. Mac was very friendly and had tons of helpful tips and info. The cabin also had lots of fun bonuses which our kids really enjoyed like the tire swing, archery, axe throwing, and games in the closet. The hot tub on the back deck is super great!! The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals at the cabin. Plenty of blankets, towels, and firewood. Overall a really great stay!!

Perfect stay!! MAC’s hideaway was beyond our expectations. The cabin was very clean, well equipped with everything we could need and more. MAC was an awesome host and shared lots of great suggestions and events happening during our stay. We will definitely be planning another stay soon!

This place was incredible!! We had so much fun. The view from the back deck and the water was great and we had plenty of space to hang out. We really enjoyed being outside in the yard where we threw a frisbee and played cornhole. We also liked getting in the hot tub in the evenings after a long day of playing outside. There was a pond close to the house that was fun to fish at. (Also had gorgeous views from that area) My husband and son fished in the river too while my daughter and I relaxed on the deck. The inside of the house was decorated beautifully and the layout was nice and roomy. As a family of four with two older kids we never felt cramped. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had and was helpful to advise on places to go/restaurants/entertainment nearby. We truly had a fantastic experience here and will be back next summer if possible! If you are on the fence about booking this place, just do it! You won’t regret it!

We had the very best time at Mac’s Hideaway! The views of the river were beautiful. We stayed with our four young children and really enjoyed all of the toys and the trampoline. Would highly recommend staying here for anyone. The host was absolutely wonderful and responsive. Five star experience.

This cabin is as close to perfect as you can get. We had a fantastic time, it’s a beautiful location- feel’s secluded but you are still close to town. Huge gated deck for little kids to play and stay safe. We are a family of 6 and we all fit comfortably. So many activities for kids to do. My kids are 10, 5, 3,and 1 year old. We don’t want to leave!

We loved everything about our stay ! You are right on the water and lots of outdoor space for the kids to explore ! The owner was like our travel agent also guiding us on where to go and what to do . She was always available when we needed something. Couldn’t ask for a more perfect place ! Thanks for sharing your home with us !

I can’t say enough about this place! The cabin with its unique character, the deck with hot tub, fire pit, dining/lounge area right on the river was phenomenal ! Cabin was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect for day trips or if you need to run to town. The fishing was great & lots of wildlife around! Definitely one of the best places we have stayed, highly recommend! MAC, our host, was very welcoming & gave tons of recommendations to do during our stay. Very easy to communicate & so friendly. Excellent place to stay, will be back!!

The property is more beautiful than the pictures. Right on the river. You can fish off the back deck if you like!! They have lots of yard games you can play or just relax in the hot tub with the sound of the river in the background. The beds are super comfortable. We loved everything about our stay there!! Incredibly comfortable house and outdoor space right by the river. This was the ideal location to stay for our Spring Break ski trip. The star gazing from the hot tub to wind down the day was the perfect touch.

Great cabin in a nice neighborhood. While we were there the whole town lost power for a few hours. Owners were very responsive and had everything and more at the cabin to stay warm and have fun! Brand new Jacuzzi was AMAZING

Everything that was listed about the property was just like it was when we arrived. The log cabin and everything that went with it. The river was right off the deck. Fishing was outstanding. Everything in the house worked flawlessly. We will be back.
