We loved our time here and will definitely be back! Our favorite thing was the fireplace and the lovely porch with stunning views. We loved watching for deer. It was the perfect family weekend.

It was quiet and peaceful. Just what we needed while we enjoyed the music at the fairgrounds.

Very nice! Great retreat, has everything you'll need for a family getaway. It's secluded but convenient to stores, restaurants, streams and Lake Chatuge! Great cabin decor, well stocked kitchen and comfy furniture! Kids loved the upstairs bunkroom and the basement game room. And we all enjoyed the hot tub! Oh! And the master bed was so, so comfortable!! One if the best cabins we've stayed in in quite a while!

Perfect setup for our family's space needs. Beautiful location. Thermostat was preset at 83 when we arrived. Upstairs was stifling. Thankfully I arrived before my daughter's family, so I was able to have it comfortable by the time I arrived. Basement had mildew smell. Queen sized bed upstairs needs to be replaced before anyone else needs to use it. The box spring is so noisy when you sit on it or make any movement it's like you're on a bed of buckwheat. To be able to sleep the 2nd night my daughter had to pull the top mattress off onto the floor for a quiet night's sleep.

The location is off the beaten path with a spectacular view. The kitchen has everything to prep meals. The game room was a lit of fun and perfect for the children. There were only one hand towel for each bathroom, didn't see any wash clothes. The queen bed upstairs was very noisy, squeaky. Due to a lot of dust, the family who has children with allergies, stayed only one night.

Overall, the home is very nice - comfortable and in a good location. Our only complaint is that we saw roaches in the bathrooms and bedroom on both nights of our stay.

We stayed with a group of 7 kids and 2 adults. The bunk room was great and the kids enjoyed being in there It was very nice to have board games and big games(ping pong, foosball). It gets very dark in the bunk room at night and a night light would be helpful. We also did not know that you had to walk through the upstairs bedroom in order to get to the bathroom which made it difficult for adults to sleep or have privacy. The other option was for the children to have to walk down the stairs and thru the house in the night to get to the other bathroom which was not an option for us. There was a decent amount of dishes but glasses/cups were needed and the knives were not good so bring your own. There were towels but not extras for the hot tub- so bring your own.

Except for the cleanliness issues, it was just what we needed, the views, the quiet and the local. My kids all loved the relaxing in the hot tub. But I must say, the game room was disappointing, really needs updating.

We had an amazing stay at this location. The place was spotless and met all our expectations. Although we lost power during our stay, it was beyond the owner’s control. Overall, a fantastic experience!

We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, deck, laundry option, location, and nice view. Except for the king bed, all the others were so very creaky and squeaky. The floorboards are squeaky and make it hard for anyone in the whole house to get sleep if someone else is awake. The cabin was neat but not very clean, especially the floors. There were water bottles, hardened chewed gum and lots of dust under the bed upstairs. We couldn’t find the charcoal that was promised on the website or the complimentary shampoos. We found the drip coffee maker in the cupboard. We ran out of toilet paper and paper towels. What a shame you only get two days worth when you pay for five. The light to the basement stairs doesn’t work. The basement carpet smells terrible. We are regular cabin renters and have come to know what is reasonable to expect for what we paid. We’ve paid less for much more. This one was not our favorite. The property manager was contacted regarding these after check out with no response. I hope that attention has been paid to resolving these for the next guests.

We chose the rustic cabin for family members attending a wedding at Overlook 55 in Young Harris. The cabin was spotless and private and conveniently located near the wedding venue. The kids enjoyed the games downstairs and loved the fantastic views, including a view of the peak at Brasstown Bald. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Rib Country and shopped at Alexander’s Store in Blairsville, GA, where they sell everything from clothing, including western boots, to furniture and sporting goods. Yes, we highly recommend staying at this Rustic Young Harris Cabin w/Fire Pit & Views!
