Come enjoy the peace and quiet of the Texas Hill Country, while relaxing in the cool waters of the Dry Frio River. This cabin is nestled under a canopy of live oak trees and just a short walk to the river. The Dry Frio River gets its name from the fact that the spring fed river meanders under the rocks at times, giving the appearance of a dry creek bed. This means the water is always cold, even in the hot summer months!
The air conditioned cabin has a simple, rustic feeling. The familyroom has high ceilings with comfy leather sofa and loveseat. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and plenty of cookware. The cozy master bedroom has a stone fireplace and a queen-size bed, with room for a portable crib if needed. The spacious bathroom has a lovely clawfoot bathtub/shower. There is loft area with two full-size beds and a beautiful view of the huge live oak trees.
Outside there is ample seating on the covered porch and around the fire-pit. A charcoal grill is available for those outdoor cook-outs. Just down the road, a short walk, is a community park area with a covered pavilion and outdoor activities. Wi-Fi is also available at the park area.
This is a great place for star gazing, hiking, fishing, swimming, nature watching, unwinding and making memories.
