Rustic Mountain Lake Escape

Loved this place so much we brought our friends up and stayed again. Perfect spot with a great view.

I wanted to share how incredible our family getaway was from start to finish! There was always something fun for everyone, from adults to children. We never ran out of things to do, with board games, an outdoor firepit, a swimming pool, mini golf, pickleball courts, large screen TV, huge family room and outdoor hikes to enjoy.The place was immaculate, and the beds were so comfortable it was hard to get out of them each day! However, with so many things to explore and enjoy, we were happy to start our next day's adventure.Our family has already decided to make this a yearly retreat. The only thing we would have changed was adding an extra two days—it was over too soon! Thank you for such an amazing family memory!

Perfect location and the view is magical. Air conditioning is top notch and we stayed at perfect temperature the whole trip. We had everything we needed and the kitchen functions very well. Cabin was clean and comfortable!! The deck was one of our favorite places to sit and relax and just take in the views. The paved driveway was a game changer and it went all the way around so no backing out and plenty of parking for cars and trailers. We will be back and enjoy this spot again!!

Check in was easy. It was our first time using Vrbo so I wasn't sure what to expect.The kitchen was large and very well stocked. The seating fit our large family very well.

This property was nothing short of amazing! It has an amazing view and is just out of the way enough that you don’t get the hustle and bustle of the city, but you are still super close to everything! The pool and beach access included is sooo convenient too. We also saw deer and turkeys every day and had the best time!

We had a delightful stay at this location! The bathrooms and beds were all clean and comfortable, especially the master. The host was also very responsive to all our questions. It had access to the private beach at Ideal Resort and there were beach towels and chairs and an umbrella you could bring. It also had a good deal of cooking gear which was nice so that we didn’t need to bring up as much. It had a beautiful view over the lake as well. The only cons we noticed were that you had to drive the trash out to the bottom of the hill so that the wildlife wouldn’t get them (we did see a moose and a turkey while we were there) and that the sunrise goes straight into the upstairs bedroom and there are no blinds for those windows. Overall we had an incredible time and were impressed with everything during our stay.

The Rustic Mountain Lake Escape lived up to its description, and then some! Our family of 14 had plenty of space, bathrooms, beds, and amenities to enjoy our stay at Bear Lake. The view from the deck was gorgeous! The included pass to Ideal beach was a plus and added to our enjoyable vacation!! The cabin was welcoming, clean, and located in an excellent area to enjoy all that Bear Lake offers. Our host, Nate, was quick to respond to questions and to ensure our stay was incident free. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to booking it again next year!

We loved every minute at this cabin. Working with the host made it so easy. The accommodations were fantastic. They were clean, welcoming and organized. We appreciated the comfortable master suite. The bed was so comfortable. The theater in the basement was perfect for a movie night with comfortable reclining couches. The location was perfect for us to take off from the cabin for our day trail ride. The host helped us find adventures and memories. The patio was great for an evening BBQ. We had zero complaints of such a fun venue! We can't wait to come back with our kids! There was plenty of room for our entire family. All the comforts of home. Deer joined us every morning!
