Rustic Mountain Cabin

I felt instantly at home and the owners were a pleasure to work with. Wonderful experience!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cozy and well located cabin. The sitting area including reclining sofa seats (with adjustable head rests) in front of a large screen TV and gas fireplace (loved that you just pushed a button to get warmth and ambiance) and comfy chairs on the deck. The king sized bed was comfy and a bath tub allowed a soaking after a day of hiking. The shower pressure was decent but the shower a little small for any large person.The kitchen was well supplied with all that you could need to cook, but you may want to check what condiments are on hand, as apart from salt and cooking spray there wasn't much.The location was great for taking in all that Brevard and nearby Pisgah and DuPont National Parks have to offer, and we liked that we could get into the gated Connistee Falls area which is even closer to the cabin, to hike along their trails of which a couple wound beside a lovely stream with little falls. You could also golf and play pickleball there.Definitely hope to be back and recommend!

Cabin was lovely - very unique and a bit off the beaten path.... We had a wonderful time exploring waterfalls in Brevard, Pisgah Forest and Dupont State Recreational Forest. Oskar Blues Brewery was fun and had great burgers. Highly recommend this property

This is the perfect place for a relaxing get-away. Lovely home and awesome back porch to watch the white squirrels, deer, foxes and colorful leaves. Close to the waterfalls for day hikes. Fire pit for the cool evenings. We can't wait to visit again.

Lovely cabin - even better than pictured. Lots of neat details and art work. We were in town for a wedding so didn’t get to spend much actual time in the cabin, but wish we did! The porch overlooking the woods is so peaceful and we saw deer. The master bedroom bed was extremely comfortable.One thing to note - it is dog friendly but upon arrival, there was a notice that dogs were not allowed on the furniture. Not a problem, but would have been useful to know beforehand and we may have packed a few more things. Fortunately, we did have their dog beds with us. Again, the stay was great - we would stay here again when visiting family in the area. Highly recommend.

This beautiful custom mountain cabin was just the peacefulness and privacy we needed.

We like how the property was close to town but not in town. Definitely one of the best ever stayed at. Very nice host!

Definitely would stay here again! Perfectly located to enjoy MANY waterfalls and surrounding area activities! Was just me and my 8 yr old and he had a blast! Went to Hendersonville to the Hands On Children's Museum twice because it was so fun! Cabin was nice and clean, beds were very comfortable and was stocked with everything you need! Even saw deer and the famous white squirrels everyday! Just the relaxation we needed!

Great place in the woods where it’s quiet and beautiful! Phyllis is the best host! Very attentive and close by if you need anything. This is the second time we’ve stayed. We’ll be back!

Will definitely rent again, this place is as described, perfect. We really enjoyed our time and the location is great for visiting breweries, day hikes, and the local towns.

We were looking for an escape and a place to relax. This was the most perfect place and I wish we could have stayed longer, this was the most perfect getaway and such a quiet sanctuary. Thank you for such a perfect retreat.

Very charming cabin close to Brevard, Pisgah, Dupont and Cashiers. We really enjoyed the gas logs and porch. Great having a pet friendly cabin so close to everything.

Peaceful rustic buccolic well worth it

This home was absolutely gorgeous and a treat to stay in! Felt like home, from the fireplace to how incredibly comfortable the beds were!!! Seriously I have never had such a comfortable bed anywhere but home. What a beautiful October stay we had in the mountains. The hosts were so friendly and timely with all responses.

We enjoyed our stay at this place — it’s more like a house than a rustic cabin. And a nice one! It’s surrounded by lots of trees, very clean and fairly quiet. We particularly liked the big back porch and the easy access to the main living/bedroom areas. Only a couple steps to get in. The cabin was filled with fun, interesting antique “knickknacks” which completed our mountain experience. The road up to the cabin is a little bit steep, but not at all difficult to get to the cabin. We thank the owners for their hospitality and hope they are doing okay after Helene.
