Stayed Feb 14, 2026This was our second time staying at this property and it was just as good!! Everything was clean and cozy; the host even gave us an early check in and late check out due to the weather! Would recommend!

Stayed Feb 16, 2025We stayed at this property during our kids’ ski week school break and had an awesome time!! The property had plenty of space inside and was clean. The kids had a blast playing in the snow! There was even a spare snow sled inside that we used when our own broke. Would stay here again!!

Stayed Dec 24, 2024We spent Christmas week at Rustic Escape and had a great time. The cabin provided the ample space and amenities for our family of 7. We enjoyed the close distance to the Village and Big Bear Snow and Play. We intend to stay again.

Stayed Jul 3, 2023We absolutely loved our stay at Rustic Escape cabin!! Perfect Location!! Quite away from traffic. Loved how the trail was a couple cabins away & stores less than 5 minutes away. Fernando was always very quick to respond to all my messages & cabin was clean with everything we needed. I would definitely recommend &would love to stay here again! Thank you!

Stayed Nov 22, 2021Love the experience of the cabin everything was as expected. The only downfall was we were looking forward to enjoy the Fire pit but it was empty no gas.

Stayed Nov 11, 2021This place was wonderful! The location was ideal for hiking, easy walk to town, and so peaceful. Please note that there is very little height clearance in the doorways and the stairs.
