Stayed Dec 31, 1969We enjoyed our week-long stay at this property! The location is fabulous and it’s right near the adventure center. I appreciated the well-stocked kitchen that even included a spice drawer and salad spinner. We hope to return!

Stayed Dec 19, 2021This property was perfect for our family snow trip. Check in was a breeze with a coded door, the cabin was spacious with a fantastic layout that made for great together-time. Tons of snow in the yard, we did sledding and made snow men in the back yard. Fireplace was warm. Tahoe-Donner was five minutes away, grocery and restaurants 15 minutes away. Great location and experience.

Stayed Oct 10, 2020This is a nice cabin up in the hills, about 15 minutes from Truckee main street. The place was clean and we had plenty of space for 3 people. If it wasn't for the Coronavirus pandemic, we could have even shared it with another family. We didn't even use the upstairs bedroom or loft.

Stayed Sep 26, 2020Overall we liked this property. Everything was as described except that the carpets and a bean bag type chair need deep cleaning which the company kindly addressed when we raised the issue. We loved the steam shower amenity. Location is good and quiet. The exterior needs some TLC but did not effect our enjoyment of the place.

Stayed Dec 19, 2019We had a wonderful time staying in this home. The house is well laid out, has a very functional kitchen, and plenty of space. It is walking distance to the Tahoe-Donner cross country ski center, which was nice for us. The only inconvenience is that the internet is slow and inconsistent. Good enough for checking email, but not really for working. Maybe that is perfect for a vacation anyway.

Stayed Dec 23, 2019Location was chosen because it was near the Donner resort - literally ~6 mins drive. The little kids were able to all play snow in the backyard also.

Stayed Dec 23, 2019Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very close to Donner Downhill ski Resort - ~6 mins drive. And within walking distance to the Alder Creek Adventure Center. Huge space in back for kids to play in snow.
