Rustic Cabin/Quiet Area/Next to Forest/Feet From Hiking Trails/Hot Tub/Garage

The Georgia Peach truly is a peach 🍑 the place has a genuine rustic feel and is very adorable! The owner is good with communicating. The place was very clean. The only issue we had was that the driveway is not meant for every kind of car and one of our cars scraped really badly getting in and out of the driveway and ended up having to be parked in front of the place instead.

We just stay one day, very quiet, near shopping and village. House is clean.

This pepper and the lister are amazing. Great communication and all is the amenities you’d need. I would stay here again!

Excellent support from the property owners and the place was impeccable. Worth the stay. Will come back. Other than 4 x4 vehicles, real chains are needed to traverse the slope. Z type chains slipped. Need muscles to shovel the snow off from the long driveway.

Overall we had a good stay at this location. It was easy to find and came as described. The house was very clean. No complaints as to that aspect. There are a few things to note with this property. The steps to the hot tub only go up about 1/4 of the way of the side of the unit. Most will find this to be accomodating, but unfortunately, for me it wasn't. If you have short legs, or more limited mobility you may want to keep this in mind. We were fine not using it and I fully understand that is a me problem, not a them problem.Just good for renters to keep in mind. The downstairs bed was good and comfortable. Though the upstairs beds could use an updated matress. As well as the recliners and couches could use a restuffing. Overall for the price and accomadations from the host for our puppy, it was a good choice. We appreciated the ease of check in and out. It was a very quite street and made for an enjoyable time. Would recommend overall. Oh, and there was even a few snacks and ice trays ready with ice upon arrival. I appreciated that small gesture.

The cabin was lovely and clean when we arrived. There was one really uncomfy bed upstairs, but we switched to the downstairs one and it was great. It’s your classic wood cabin with paneling inside and cute decor. The views are of trees and surrounding cabins, lots of wildlife. The only thing that would make this place better is if it were a little more private or secluded. You can see the other houses and windows very close to it and the outdoor area in the back is in the wide open so everyone can see. I would have preferred a view without other people in it, but that’s just nit picking. We had a wonderful weekend and I would say this place is one of the nicest rentals by owner that I’ve ever stayed. Fully stocked kitchen, lovely area, conveniently located near everything. Quiet neighborhood, close to hiking. Just perfect.

Absolutely 5-star experience! Jerry was incredibly helpful, sending clear check-in instructions ahead of time and answering our questions immediately. The house was spotless, and they even left a welcome basket which was a lovely touch.Highly recommend for a stress-free getaway with our dog!

My wife and three kids spent last weekend at the Georgia Peach. We had a great experience and loved the stay! Was a great rustic home with all accommodations and great location. We enjoyed a couple quiet walks at night through the neighborhood and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The kids loved the fusbol table and we loved the little coffee bar. Plenty of linens, bedding, and all the comforts of home! We are ready to book again next year!

Fantastic experience!

The host 100 percent was controlling the thermostat and keeping it at 68 degrees the first night we stayed there. We had our 18 month old with us. Had to wake up every hour to turn the heat back on only to see it get back to 68. Keep in mind it was the same weekend the winter snow storm was supposed to happen- temp was around 25-30 at night. When I reached out to Jerry the next day to tell him it keeps blowing cold air and going to 68. His response was “i see you have it set to 72” and to basically keep it at 70. I told him you have to disclose if the thermostat only goes to 70. It wasn’t until I threatened to contract VRBO that his heater MIRACULOUSLY was no longer set to 68 and didn’t start blowing cold. Air. It was an absolutely embarrassing excuse they had. After that we knew this host has slapped lipstick on a pig and it’s not worth the cost. Additionally both keypad locks went down. Luckily the host had the spare keys in a lock box but we wouldn’t be surprised if we got locked out. Thankfully our convo is all on messages and you can see his awful excuse as to why it was blowing cold air.

My first priority is cleanliness and everything was very clean and looked to be in solid condition. Great stay for the price.

My family and I come up to Big Bear every MLK weekend, and the Georgia Peach did not disappoint. This cabin has everything a family needs while up in the mountains. If you bring bikes, like we did, you can literally bike wherever you want to go because this cabin is so close to everything. The town trail is about 50 yards from the cabin, and that is a nice hike through the forest just steps from the front door. Big Bear village is only about 1.5 miles from the cabin. If you are looking for a home away from home in Big Bear, then this is your place.

We had a wonderful stay. The check in process was super easy and the hot tub was clean and very nice. The property was spotless and really comfortable. The owner responded quickly to the couple of simple questions we had and was very helpful. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful which made it a perfect mountain getaway. Super close to the village and ski areas. Five stars all around.

The cabin was very nice, clean, well appointed and in a great location. It would have been perfect except for the extremely uncomfortable king bed upstairs. The mattress was sagging in the middle and the ill fitting sheets kept coming off. The bed was so high that I had difficulty getting in and out. Not good for an older person or anyone under six feet tall. Fortunately we had a step stool in the trunk of our car.

Cute and cozy. We had such a great time at the house. Perfect location! The upstairs bedroom is Huge and everyone in our family was able to find somewhere in the house to spread out. We played so many games and the foosball table seemed to always be in use. The hot tub was nice though the jets don’t work. To all future guests- be aware that when the HVAC blower kicks on, the curtains in the living room will come to life! This is extremely important knowledge for anyone who will be watching scary movies in there! 3 stars for the almost comical over imposing and seemingly endless rules and threats of added fees. The hosts seem to have been burned by past guest but it was a bit too Californian for our tastes and off putting enough that we won’t be back.

Comfortable home, kitchen well stocked, great setting steps from a hiking trail. Loved the hot tub!Only issue is the driveway is steep and a little hard to maneuver.

This cabin was wonderful. We have zero complaints. Our only issue is that we'd like more outdoor space that is usable. Maybe a hammock, or porch swing. Other than that, this cabin was great.

If we ever come back to big Bear Lake again, we would definitely choose this cabin. The host is very easy to communicate with. The cabin was very well stocked and super clean. Nice location. Loved it.

We loved that the property was almost at the end of a road. We loved the separation of space within the home. Heavy use of the garage and the spa and the outdoor space was wonderful! We rode e bikes all around, as everythin was close. We highly recommend this cozy, affordable home.

Vintage cabin in green woods. Owner has been very thoughtful in preparing everything so we had a pleasent stay in his vacation home. Good location for seeing all the Big Bear sights.

Check in was super easy. The cabin was very clean, and well maintained. The driveway is a bit tricky to get in/out of but nothing horrible, just something to keep in mind for those who are not comfortable reversing into/out of a slightly steeper driveway. The host is responsive and made sure we had everything we needed.

Had an old fashioned mountain cabin feel. Plenty of bedding, towels, kitchen supplies. Host was easy to communicate with. Neighborhood quiet. Overall a nice place. We liked the downstairs queen bed best.

Property was clean and accurate to the photos. Everything worked well, and the Foosball table was a nice bonus!Close to some of the best dining in the area, and plenty of activities.The hot tub was very nice at the end of each day!Thank you!

Very quiet spot. Lots of space upstairs. Backyard is sloping and not fenced. I would highly recommend for kids especially, because of all the room upstairs. I wish more parking was allowed because the driveway is big but t only allows 3 cars.

Our weekend at the Georgia Peach was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. We really appreciated the clear communication from host beginning with our booking and throughout the stay. The home was clean and welcoming with everything we needed for our stay. The location was central to everything we were planning (although not walkable to anything except the near-by sledding and hiking). We were also very happy with the value and would definitely stay here again. Book with confidence.

The Georgia Peach is truly a peach to stay at. The location was great because it was close to the Village and other restaurants, but still private. No cars passing unless they live or are staying there. The cabin was exactly as it was shown and described. We are a family of 5 with 3 boys (twins 11 and a 9 year old) and there was enough room. We didn't get any new snow during this past ski week but the hillside still had plenty of snow to play in. We were able to sled and have snow ball fights. Jerry, the owner and host, checked in to make sure we got in ok and that we were doing well during our stay. Check-in and out was easy, cabin was clean, and had the basic supplies needed for cooking and such. Great place to stay at!

This cabin was perfect for our family had all the amenities you need and was next to the mountain accessible to everything in town. It was clean and we had a great time. Would stay here again.

I had the rare opportunity to take my five children to the snow for Christmas! We had a blast tubing and skiing—just five minutes from the cabin. We look forward to more mountain adventures in the future!

The Georgia Peach is the coziest spot to stay for a fun mountain weekend! In a great location for all Big Bear has to offer! Don't let it's age fool you. The entire cabin is well cared for and very clean. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds, pillows and linens are quite comfy! The vintage fireplace gives the perfect ambiance for the ultimate cozy cabin vibes!

We had a great stay at the Georgia Peach! The house was very nice and clean in a quiet and quaint neighborhood almost at the end of the street. Everything looked like it had been freshly cleaned and laundered. The owner was very responsive to all messages prior to our stay, and we did not have to message during our stay at all. They had very straightforward rules throughout the house that were easy to follow. A hiking trail was very close by. We were able to walk approximately a mile into a nice area in town that had several shops, restaurants and bars. Many of the establishments were dog friendly too! Our only disappointment with Big Bear in general (which had nothing to do with where we stayed! The house was great!!) was that it was our first time visiting Big Bear Lake, and we were ready for boating and swimming and fun in the water! ....However they have a no swimming in the lake rule that caught us off guard.... Our fault for not reading the fine print with that part. So, if you are looking for water activities, but no swimming in the water, totally worth a visit! We were still able to enjoy the mountain air, a hike, and good food and drinks! And had a very peaceful stay at the Georgia Peach

We all enjoyed our stay at this property. Appreciated all info about the Big Bear area that was in a binder for us to look over. The welcome water, cookies and popcorn was a treat.

We rented the Georgia Peach for 3 nights, as we were participating in the Big Bear Fun Run car show. Having a garage to park our classic Nova was essential , and the cost was reasonable. 4 adults were plenty comfortable. The beds were great, and the location is quiet, easily accessed and very close to the Village.
