Jacksboro, Texas
Small cabin nestled in country seclusion. Relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature as the cabin provides a peaceful place for writing, book reading, or pond fishing. It is often said, the cabin gives inspiration while nourishing ones soul. The small town of Jacksboro is a short drive and Fort Richardson State Park is approximately 2 miles.
The Cabin is a 24-7-365 Non-Smoking property. House rules prevail. Important to also note. Often a county-wide burn ban is in effect. When the County burn ban is in effect, campfires, outdoor cooking, and other potential fire hazards are prohibited.
This is the second time we've stayed and you can be sure it won't be the last. Feels like home....
We were looking for a quiet place to ring in the New Year, and this cabin was exactly what were looking for. This place is off the beaten path and has tons of peace and quiet. We enjoyed watching the stars in such a clear night sky, and sitting by the pond and listening to nature. Our host Anna was super flexible and accomodating when my travel plans changed. She even made us (delicious) cookies! We are super grateful for her accomodations. Definitely recommend staying in this cabin!
Folks this an absolute jewel, perfect in all ways.
What an amazing retreat! This cabin has captured my heart! Stayed here for a “workcation” to escape the crowds, detox from the city and get some computer work done. Host was amazing, and had prepared everything we needed and more. WiFi was very good. Quiet, peaceful, restful. Hope to return very soon!
Peaceful
This cabin is very out in the country. The cabin is very nice inside. There is everything you will need for a country getaway. We really enjoyed spending time at this cabin.
