Cute cabin with a lean lol. Needs leveling. Better pillows and mattress could greatly improve the response to this cabin. Also a little cleanup outside(webs everywhere) Lots of plus' with this cabin only a few small details holding it back. Remote needs batteries I think.
Charming little cabin with all the comforts of home. However, we could not have the windows open as the miller moths were also prevalent, and yellow jackets were also getting in.
The cabin was over a 100 years old and it really gave the stay a historic type of feeling. My Fiancé and I really enjoyed the place and didn't want to leave, as it felt like a second home.
I really loved the updated Cabin, yet still rustic enough for a true cabin feel. Overall I really loved the cabin and location being so close to everything you needed. One thing I would recommend is getting a faucet for your sink that sticks out a little more into the sink, every time we turned it on, water would drip all over the back and those butcher block counter tops won’t make it very long if they keep getting wet like that. Also we found ticks in the room so I would recommend spraying the property as well especially with how many deer live in the area. But these things did not discourage us we still loved the stay and will be back again!!!
As other reviewers have noted, the cabin is over 100 years old and rustic. The floors do slope and the bathroom is on the small side. However, it was cute, clean, and provided everything we needed. Great location. We did bring a lawn chair as there is no place to sit other than the stools at the table and the bed. We also made a stop at the local hardware store and bought a nightlight for the bathroom as the light switch is inside on the far wall beside the sink, which took us a little while to find when we first arrived. We left it at the cabin. You’re welcome!
This property was perfect for what my wife and I needed. If you're looking for all the amenities of home, look elsewhere. This is simple and basic. It was a great place to get some sleep, have coffee, and plan for our daily BV area adventures. When we returned from our day, the shower did what it needed to and we had plenty of hot water for the two of us. The box fan was nice to have since it got a little stuffy when the front door was closed. The floor was slanted just enough to remind us of one of our favorite fishing cabins in Minnesota!
The facility was in a great location and the available eating options were awesome.
I love this little cabin and the location is great! This was our second stay here and the upgrades are great! I'm sure it's due to the bears and other wildlife, coffee pot and filters were provided, but be sure to bring your own coffee and sugar. Would stay here again!
My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend. It’s a great little cabin. It feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, but are actually close to town. It is cute and has everything you need.
The cabin was great very clean, updated and peaceful. Contact with the property manager was great and very responsive. The only change I would say are needed is a curtain over the windows on the door.
Such a fun little cabin. Loved staying here. Great location. Super great communication with the hosts, easy check-in instructions. Cabin itself was clean and had everything necessary for a perfect little place to stay in the mountains. 10/10!
Cool place feels like it’s out in the boonies surrounded with huge pines, in reality you’re walking distance to downtown.
Very quiet and peaceful. The little cabin was very clean and quaint! Easy to get to restaurants and coffee shops. Not far from lakes and water activities. The only thing I would say is be sure to write down the lock code because on checkout day the instructions disappear! We went to leave around 8am and had to guess the code? This also meant the contact numbers disappeared to so it’s not like we could text anyone to ask either.
This property was perfect for my husband and I. We spent most of our time outdoors in the mountains, but when we were in the cabin it was a good experience. Heads up - there’s no Wi-Fi or AC. However, the cell reception was decent for us. The AC wasn’t much of a problem because we kept the windows open most of the time and brought a box fan. However, I’m sure in July and August the heat is a little less tolerable… We loved that we were close to the mountains and the Main Street of town. And the mountain bikes were an awesome surprise!
It’s a cute cabin. It would have been nice if they had provided a bar of soap, Kleenexes, coffee and filters that fit the coffee pot. It was very warm, but we couldn’t sleep with the door open because the screen had no workable latch. It was not what we were expecting. We were there for a wedding and had no hangers (there’s no closet) to hang up our wedding clothes. It was a nice quiet place but there is no creek in front of the cabin like we had expected.
