Great rustic cabin in beautiful setting. Not fancy, but clean and comfortable
Cool cabin. Loved sitting by the fire
Comfortable. All aspects were very good. Beds, TV, Internet, worked fine.
Very quaint setting. Well equiped and very clean. A short distance to the ocean, both Bandon and the Gold Coast. We loved our stay.
One of the very best vacation rentals we've ever encountered. Spacious, comfortable, and clean, stocked with everything you need. The kitchen has a huge range of utensils and cookware, and the bathroom has ample supplies of towels, to, and soap. Everything worked perfectly. We were sad to leave when our booking ended.
Cozy cabin in the woods with easy access to several beaches in the Bandon area and walking distance to the Lost Lake trailhead. We enjoyed hiking and playing at the beach during the day and relaxing at the cabin in the evenings watching TV and playing games. Nice selection of books, games and toys available as well as everything we needed for cooking in the kitchen. We would definitely consider staying here again
It was so quiet and peaceful with everything we needed. Close to wonderful hikes. A place your dog can enjoy to. We'll diffinately come again.
Just what we needed
The cabin was cute, furnished in antiques. It was stocked with everything one could possibly want. The location was beautiful, so quiet. It was incredibly peaceful there. It felt totally safe and secure. The heater worked great, the house was always comfortable. The beds were really comfy, too. Rooms were sufficiently spacious for the four of us. We were grateful that our dogs were welcome. The host was very responsive. It was a bit of a drive to town, which we did twice a day. We did not use the fully stocked kitchen at all, but chose to eat out. We went in midMay, and there were so many mosquitos that we didn't enjoy the paths around the house. That was just a matter of timing, I am sure, coming after a very wet springtime this year. The hike to Lost Lake was surprisingly beautiful, and just a short walk down the road. All of the neighbors were friendly and quiet.
Not fancy but clean and comfortable. If you like to cook they have most everything in the kitchen. Wood stove and varied flooring could be challenging with small children. Could have used more firewood during our 4 night stay during cold weather but we used the electric wall heaters (probably more expensive than wood) and bought some at the store. No door on master bedroom, just a curtain. Altogether we had an outstanding time and enjoyed our stay (mom, dad, 3 daughters all age 12 and up). Bed and pillows were great. I think we'll be back. Cheers
Our family really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was well stocked. The rustic log cabin atmosphere was nice and the kids appreciated all the toys, board games, and art supplies.
Perfect location close to all the places i planned on visiting while on vacation. I loved the cabin feel on the inside of the home and the landscape was great also.I would recommend this cute quiet little getaway to friends and family. Great stay.
Very quiet location, excellently equipped kitchen, master bed was sup comfortable. The cabin is dated and dark. Master bed has no door and is near bathroom. Very close neighbor w dog but was no trouble or noise. We expected more for the price but could work better for others
The property was in a very quiet and lovely neighborhood. Mosquitos were awful in May, so we didn't explore the 5 acres of woods, but did find a beautiful dune & lake hike just down the road. It was a bit of a drive to town, but doable. We opted not to cook, so drove into Bandon twice a day. We brought our dogs--$65 for 4 nights and 2 dogs. It was a good place for dogs, hosts were open and friendly and welcoming about them. The dogs did, however, as dogs will do, inspect the property thoroughly. They spent enough time licking the floors and crawling under bunk beds and dressers to let us know that the cleanliness might not be optimal at least on the floors. However, the countertops, bathroom and all linens were clean and perfect. The house was full stocked with everything you might ever need. It really was a nice place to stay.
We really enjoyed our stay here! Everything was well stocked and the kids loved the great selection of toys and the art supplies.
Vintage carpet which really means old. Drove eight hours to come down and could not use the house due to prior renter filling the toilets up with rocks so I had to find another place in an emergency and cost too much
This beautifully decorated cabin was a great vacation for my husband, 2 young adult sons & I. We visited the Redwoods, went to the beach & took a couple of hikes. We enjoyed cooking in the big country kitchen, Playing board games and watching movies. This place has everything you need and the hike to Lost Lake within walking distance from the cabin is breathtaking! We will definitely book it again.
One night wasn't enough, had to cut the stay short. The home was beautifully decorated and full of info and activities to enjoy . Thank you!
The property is in a quiet country setting--great for peaceful sleeping after a long day in Bandon (which is close by). The kitchen is well stocked--more gadgets and appliances than we have at home. Games (including electronics) for kids and adults, puzzles, books, 2 tvs, and more. We had a great time here with some really good friends. Wish we could have stayed longer; but so glad that we know where to stay the next time we want to visit Bandon. The West Coast Game Park Safari is only 3 minutes away and is a MUST activity if you stay here (you can spend 2 to 3 hours, easy, in this wonderful place; and maybe even get an opportunity to hold or pet a baby tiger or fox or bear, or ???. Thank you for a enjoyable and memborable experience. The 4 Friends
