Property was pleasantly bigger than we thought from the photos. The host was very communicative with the whole check-in process. The cleanliness of the house was great. This listing had all we were looking for when searching for a house for spring vacation. The hot tub felt amazing. We had two families stay and there was plenty of room for all of us. I would definitely rent here again. Thank you.

This was a wonderful weekend getaway. It was fun to see the history of the cabin and how it was built! Having BLM land right out the back door made for a wonderful stroll in the unusually warm winter weather. We really enjoyed the hot tub. Although you could still see neighbors through, it seems like a very quiet neighborhood and it was plenty of space.

The most perfect place for dogs, fully fenced, huge lot, beautiful surroundings, lots of privacy. Our family of 6 met up for the weekend and we had an amazing time. We enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. We loved the separate kitchen area for playing games and the cozy living room. We will definitely be back.

The hosts are super. Lisa made sure we had everything we needed. She communicated quickly and completely. She is very accommodating. The home is beautiful and welcoming. Delton and Lisa have thought of everything. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked. The decor says rustic lodge but the amenities say high-end hotel. The grounds are beautiful. The cabin is surrounded by timber, a lot of it is pine, and pine smells so good! There is a large deck. The pictures do not do it justice. On the deck is a hot tub that my family used to the fullest. We did not use the fire pit, but this cabin has TWO; one wood burning and one propane. There are neighbors nearby, but it is so quiet; very much a country feel. Honestly, I would change nothing. I am definitely going to be booking again. So...maybe I should change this review, so it doesn't book up too fast? ;)

Beautiful cabin with rich history found in the photo book. The cabin was in a central location to head to both the mountains and lakes. Lisa, the host was an absolute gem and wonderful to work with. We had kids ages 4,3,2 and 1 present and there was a great area upstairs fully stocked with kid books and toys and they LOVED it. We made some amazing meals in the kitchen and it's really well stocked for those who like cooking! Very highly recommend!

Such a great place to stay!! It really felt like staying at a friends place, not a rental. The cabin was completely stocked with everything you might need. It was clean, enough space that we had room for the whole family to hang together in the living room but also enough space so that at night we all had our separate areas. The log cabin has such a cool vibe and it backs to so much land that you can go wander...! The outside deck was a nice bonus because the weather was cool enough that we could all sit outside for dinner. There is a hot tub (we didn't use) but it looked like it would be nice to use on a winter night!Highly recommend - and the host was great and extremely responsive!

My friends and I stayed 4 nights and this was a great place to accommodate our needs. Lisa was incredibly easy to work with and responses were timely. There were 4 couples/friends in our group. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would love to use this spot again. It’s 30 minutes away from some incredible spots:-Paulina Lake - also hot springs you can walk to.-Bend- we did the float which was about 1.5 hours and had some fun easy rapids. You can rent floats! -Lava Butte - shuttle at the visitor center for 5 that will take you up to the top of Lava Butte. Then a 1/4 mile hike around the cinder cone. ROOMS:The king and queen bed was comfy, and didn’t hear a lot of noise. Friends that stayed in the loft above the bedrooms said one mattress was a coil mattress but the other 2 were comfier. The loft is open to the sunlight so bring an eye mask if you are a late sleeper and earplugs if a light sleeper :) Friend that stayed in the loft above the kitchen said you can hear everything in the kitchen and showering and flushing from the bathroom below. This would be a good spot for a heavy sleeper or kids, and someone short! We all loved the quietness and the space. The hot tub was amazing, which we enjoyed multiple times through the day. Highly recommend turning off all the lights and gazing up at the stars. Definitely a great spot and would love to use again :)*Recommend bringing own: shampoo/conditioner/body soap, hair dryer, extra clothes, inside sandals.

Great location to horseback riding, hikes and water activities. Plenty of space to park three cars. We used both indoors and outdoor patios and the hot tub. Our two families of four stayed here (four 50 yo and four teens), and there was enough space we weren’t on top of each other. The home is private and is clean, too! If we are in the area, we will certainly stay again! La Pine itself I wish I had more time in, because two full days is not near enough!

As the listing says, this is a rustic cabin. We loved it because of that! This house was so perfectly well appointed, with all of the amenities! It was just hubs and I for the weekend, but 10-15 people would have been comfortable here without tripping over each other. I loved the woodsy touches throughout the house. There was even a record player which added to the rustic feel. A couple points of information;in the winter time, you would definitely want to check in with the host and make sure the driveway has been plowed. We were fine in our 4wd truck, but a smaller car would have had trouble because the area wasn't plowed well enough to turn around. Also, the hot tub is not secluded. The cabin is in a rural neighborhood, so there is lots of space between neighbors, but there are neighbors. This is information only and did not detract from the experience for us.

Very pretty cabin. Wonderful communication with the host. Only thing was there was some dog fur on couch and floors when we arrived, which didnt really matter as we have dogs and dog fur is the new glitter but someone else may not have appreciated that. Also we had to make sure to clean the dishes before use as many of them had fingerprints on glass and were not clean. Other than that it was a lovely relaxing stay and i give it a 4.9 star review.

Four of us sisters spent 2 nights to celebrate a 50th Birthday and had such a nice time!! There was a large spacious living room with soo many recliners and throw blankets as well as a cute record player with many selections. Nice tv to watch movies on. We could have had our own rooms but 2 of us opted to share the loft bedroom above the living room that had 3 queen beds. There is a room above the kitchen accessible by a steep ladder. We thought it was fun and gave “Little House on the Prairie” vibes. We didn’t stay up there, but it was super nice and would have if we were a younger. The hot tub was amazing!! It was clean and ready when we arrived. The jets were soo nice and we liked that it was covered so we didn’t get rained on. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and much more. If I had to think of something we could have used, it would have been a washer and dryer to clean our bathing suits, but honestly, not a problem for us. We look forward to staying here again. This time with our husbands.

Comfortable place, nice beds and fully equipped kitchen. Great place if you are in the right state of mind (slowed down). Just off the road up to Paulina L. And East L. I've been camping and exploring the Newberry Caldera area since I was a child, but I never knew about the small neighborhood this cabin was located in! This cabin was just minutes away from fun outdoor adventures to waterfalls and hot springs. This authentic log cabin included a cozy wood stove, well stocked woodpile, clean hot tub, and comfortable space for our group. Our kids loved the large loft area for a group sleepover too! We loved the log cabin. There was plenty of room for our group, plenty of parking and plenty of places for the group to gather indoors or out. We enjoyed the hot tub every day and I particularly enjoyed the chair lift porch swing. We used the location for exploring south and east of La Pine, there is plenty to see and do out there.
