Rushing Creek - Creekside Cabin

We loved staying here! The property is amazing and the creek is so soothing. The house was the perfect size for us and we had all we needed. Yes, there are things that could use updating, but not enough to take away from a relaxing much needed rest. We would love I come back and stay again and would recommend it to anyone we know wanting to come to sylva!!!

Property is vey nice and the communication with the owner was great. Creek behind the cabin sounds wonderful and the fire pit next to it was awesome. I recommend bringing your own chairs for the fire pit. Plenty of wood was provided which was nice. Bring your own fire starter, there wasn’t any there and the small branches I used were damp so it took a bit to get it started.The kitchen is stocked nicely with silverware, pots, pans, plates, cups and other needed items if you cook at the cabin.The TV was good, make sure to search for Spectrum if you want to watch local channels, otherwise the streaming services are available.Plenty of towels and toilet paper provided and starter shampoo/body wash if you don’t bring your own.I recommend bringing plenty of bottled water to drink and cook with as the water from the tap has a strange taste, this is pretty normal in mountain houses.

Great choice the host was accommodating and very kind. The cabin was exactly what we expected and I would recommend this stay.

Always a wonderful place to visit. Plenty of room for the whole family. This cabin is so relaxing to visit with the creek flowing in the mountains.

good location. Road in/out a little nerve racking. Had a great time. Kids enjoyed the creek.

The property was beautiful!! Each night we sat on the back porch and listened to the flowing creek. close to town.The home was beautifully decorated and very clean!! Everything you could want for!! .

We enjoyed the sound of the rushing creek just off the balcony while sitting in the rocking chairs. It could also be heard from the master bedroom for a peaceful night’s sleep.

The place was beautiful. The views are excellent.!! our stay was great and would love to visit again when it’s just a little warmer lol. Doug was very responsive to any questions we had with a quick response! ! The only suggestion I would have is the please upgrade the pots and pans as we were a group that like to cook together and hang out and eat there wasn’t a lot of choices for us! Love the wood burning fireplace and creek! Beds were soooo comfortable! Peaceful setting. But NO hot tub so that was disappointing since it was advertised in the amenities. Well appointed cabin though. I’d stay again, nice and clean. With a furniture upgrade in the living room it would be stunning.

Love the house and the area. The foliage was amazing and so was the weather only had one cloudy day the rest was sunny. I love Cherokee, Bryson City, Slyva, Maggie Valley all so close. Thanks for letting us stay and enjoy our time together with my mom and 2 cousins. We all had a wonderful time

Everything was great except water had a funny taste and smell. And mattress in master bedroom needs to be replaced. Just about sank to floor on it. Otherwise we all had a really good time there. So peaceful and quiet with creek trickling by outside.
