Rooster Rest sleeps 2

Hot tub was awesome, fire pit was great, good climate controls, enough amenities, and the bed was very comfortable. They didn't have sugar for coffee but they did have K pods for the maker. The stores are very close by and the restaurants in town are good too. I enjoyed the stay very much. Thank you!

Overall great experience

If your looking for a peaceful get away this is it! The grounds are beautiful. Great place to rest your body and mind. We drove from Kansas so the drive was long and the Hot tube was a great treat. There's plenty of activists to do around the area. Oh! My favorite part was the horse's, they walked up to the fence and were so sweet. The property managers had very good communication and answered me back asap.

This was such a wonderful, peaceful place to stay—exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was quiet and inviting, and we truly felt at home.The only small suggestion would be to consider a larger TV, but honestly, everything else was just about perfect. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay here. Only thing I would change is to have a bigger fridge, and a actual stove. The hot tub was great, everything was clean, and it was very cozy. The front porch swing was broke but it was too cold to sit outside anyway.

Great location near DeSoto Park for hiking! The house is the perfect size for 2 and has the basics you would need. There are also some sweet farm dogs which visited us frequently from the nearby houses.

Cabin was just right for two people and was nice and clean bed was comfortable...just what needed for a overnight stay or for a few day's.....hot tub was nice and warm....didnt get to use outdoor firepit it was windy and little sprinkle of rain.....but will definitely stay again....

Great place, exactly as advertised. Clean, maintained.Very closes to desoto, enjoyed making a fire, grilling out, and the hut tub.Host was very prompt to respond to any questions I had.Even hung out with a little dog one night; even though she wouldn’t leave lol.Good experience

Small and perfect size for a couple who wont be really spending a whole lot of time actually at the cabin or who wants some closeness with a partner. It was quiet and so pretty, had what we would of needed if we needed anything. The bed was so freaking comfortable and relaxing and the hot tub was perfect. We seen deer just walking along side the cabin on the right and the covered porch with swing was the icing on the cake for myself. Overall perfect stay

We had an absolute incredible time staying at Roosters' Rest. Quiet and comfortable was the need and that was what we got 100%. Bed was very comfortable the hot was a true pleasure. Lots to do around Ft Payne and Mentone or just take a drive in the country. Looking forward to coming back in the fall.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. It was just what we needed for the 2 of us a place of rest, relaxation, and peace. Not far from the falls/ state park at all. Everything you need for a quiet little getaway. We didn’t get to have a fire due to the weather but will next time.

This place was nice for two people but just two people. Amenities were a little short. Only 1 hand towel. Mentioned dishwasher but did not have one. Thermostat didn’t work but did have a space heater that was able to heat up the place. Was very cute and close to where we wanted to go. Think a little overpriced

It was everything we expected it to be! We're looking forward to our next stay!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! It’s very convenient for hiking and exploring neighboring towns. Quaint and serene. A great location! More of a field/farm view than an actual Mountain View but was very peaceful none the less and the hot tub is a great touch! Very clean!

It was perfect for a quick getaway.

Exactly what we expected plus a newborn calf we got to watch learning to walk around close to the falls and hiking trails. Very relaxing get away

I'll start out by saying that the view, the bed, the porch swing we're all the best. The little cabin was quiet and the view was good. The bathroom had a very small shower w/ a hand held sprayer., there was blood on the bathroom blinds, there were 3 regular plugs no GFI plug in bathroom and really way to small for that many plugs to begin with, dirty floors, microwave had metal broken on it , a cabinet door had no way of closing to stay closed. . There were screws and nails sticking up on the porch and steps that made me trip , the chemicals in the hot tub were so strong that it burned out eyes and nose, the stepping stones were unstable and loose so needless to say we were not as happy as we could have been there. This is my very honest opinion and maybe someone can pay attention to the little cabin, it has been neglected. It has not got the little metal roosters setting up like the pictures show in the VRBO. To me that is false advertising and it's not just about the metal roosters it just has been neglected. It has potential to be a perfect place to stay if you have no physical disabilities or don't mind broken things, or chemical overload in the hot tub. we could have been

Cabin was very small...one room and a bathroom! No stove and a tiny sink in kitchen area. Best part was the jacuzzi. I was disappointed

Cute little cabin, very clean, nice hot tub. Relaxed by the fire one night. Enjoyed the country scenery with the cows and ducks. Close to Desoto State Park. Very quite and relaxing weekend.
