The host here has done a lot of little things to make guests feel at home. You can tell she cares that the space is welcoming and functional! She was very communicative and rewards respect with respect.

Danesa was great and easy to get ahold of! I texted her directly about what we liked and what could be improved upon in the suite and she was appreciative of my message! The suite was in a great location for visiting Galena and for a wedding we attended over the weekend.

It was cozy and perfect.

Loved our stay here at this stunning location. It was very peaceful and serene. Our dog loved it too! We could just let him roam around without a leash because the area is so quiet--no cars, just cows. We will definitely be coming back to this lovely VRBO.

This was perfect romantic getaway for a few days. It was quiet and secluded with all the amenities we needed. Be sure to take a blanket and lay under the star filled sky.

My partner and I had a wonderful long weekend stay in the cabin. It is very secluded with little to no cell service. We were not surprised by it, this information was given beforehand by the host. That being said the movies that were provided were greatly appreciated. There was good selection of different genres. There is a landline in case of any emergency. Overall we had a very relaxing weekend. It was an amazing opportunity to completely disconnect and enjoy some time together.

Spent days in Galena. Eves and mornings at Cabin. Loved it. Will come back.

Quaint old cabin in hill country. Stone walls. Adequate kitchen and charcoal grill. 20 minutes from everything we wanted to see and beautiful roads. Must be fabulous when greenery is lush or fall colours.

This property is in the perfect location to disconnect from the outside world and take time to reconnect with each other! No internet made the perfect way to spend a weekend together, but not far from Galena where there is plenty to experience. Would recommend this to anyone!

Time needed from the city! If you want to get off the grid! Highly recommend!

Overall -this is such a great place to stay. Super cozy and warm. Falling asleep listening to cows mooing in the distance against the backdrop of the brightest stars and clear skies-we were instantly relaxed. No wifi , cell service , television really allowed us to catch up on some reading. Galena is a short drive and totally worth it . Very well kept property, clean and stocked with utensils and other items needed for your visit . Make sure to bring toiletries ,no soap or shampoo. Would definitely stay again

It was in the beautiful countryside, awesome views. bed was very comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was great. Very peaceful, lots of nature, saw wild turkeys and Black Angus cattle. Cozy cabin hideaway to refresh.

Lovely quiet surroundings, rustic, in the country away from everything. But not too far away -- Galena is less than 30 minutes away and Elizabeth is just a few minutes away. This place is definitely in the country. We enjoyed seeing the cows, deer, raccoons, birds. The hosts are generous in their hospitality, providing little extras such as fire wood, chocolates, and an assortment of movies to watch. No data available and the wifi was down the weekend we were there. We enjoyed this but this is just a heads up if you are thinking of doing any online work while you get away. We would come again (perhaps with friends since they have 2 other rentals on the same property).

The cabin was just the right size for my husband and me. We were able to leave the chaos of life and work behind for a few days and just enjoyed walking around Galena and the quiet of the rural cabin.
