Romantic Mountain Cabin Near Blue Ridge with Hot Tub, Fireplace, Paved Road

I had just begun looking for places to stay when I pitched the idea to my husband as a getaway for our 42nd anniversary. He liked the looks of the first one I looked at and said book it and so I did. The hosts gave me a lot of really great information upfront to help us make decisions before we got there. They answered all my questions quickly and thoroughly. Check-in was super easy; checkout was super easy. And the cabin was like being in a treehouse. We enjoyed the peacefulness. We had an absolutely lovely experience! Sweet memories to add to our 42 years of married life!!!

It was so quiet and relaxing, it was amazing! But when relaxed in the hot tub…. We turned the jets on in the hot tub…. It started making weird noises and we smelled a burning, so we shut the jets off and the noise stopped and so did the smell.

The cabin was just as described. The setting in the woods on a mountain was perfect. The cabin was very cozy and comfortable. Tammy and Ken were extremely responsive. They have the cabin very well stocked with everything needed for the perfect stay.

Host had great communication and was very helpful! Place was nice and cozy. Access Road is very step and tight, but paved.

We only stayed a couple of days but the cabin was excellent. The drive on the road up to the cabin was a little tight but doable. The cabin was very clean and the hot tub very relaxing. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

I can't say enough positive things about this property. The cabin was just perfection, completely outfitted with everything you need. I especially appreciated the hot tub, relaxing on the porch and watching the sunset, having a washer and dryer for dirty hiking clothes, the black out blinds in the bedroom, a fullyequipped kitchen and a cozy living room. Everything was spotless. It was too breezy for a fire but even the firewood was provided. As a senior with mobility issues I also appreciated that one of the bedrooms had a step in shower and a lower bed. There were 3 TV's but we never turned one on. WiFi worked great. I enjoyed the book about Blue Ridge waterfalls, I've hiked to 25 of them but found some I didn't know about and hope to plan a trip around those. The area has some beautiful state parks less than an hour away. The only thing that was uncomfortable was driving the steep, narrow road but I live in flatlands. By the end of the stay I was a little more confident with it but still drove it at chicken mph. My sister joined me for part of the stay and now wants to make this an annual trip. This was a very spur of the moment trip and I'm so glad I booked this property, it exceeded all expectations.

This property looks just like it does in the listing. The location is great as it is close to town and lots of food and bar options. Lots of hiking trails around for those wanting more outdoors time. There are some cabins around the property, but you have plenty of privacy. The cabin is perfect for a trip to relax and get away from a busy life.

We stopped here for one night to shorten our drive from Kentucky to Florida and we wish we had more than one night to enjoy this cabin. Its perfect for a couple or a family looking to getaway and enjoy the mountains.

We really enjoyed our weekend in this very charming, and well decorated cabin. I really love that it was so clean! We would definitely stay here again!
