It was perfect

Very nice property excellent views although cabins Emerald and ruby are not to far from each other one the nights of our stay they were playing loud music on ruby cabin and took away from the atmosphere. Very disappointing.

The property was clean and provided necessary items as described. The hottub got as hot as needed (104), but need so work to improve jets.

Went to Wimberly one day but most stayed at the cabin to enjoy the view along with the peace and quiet.

Amenities were really great. It was private, the cabin was beautiful and exceptionally clean. VRBO was great with communication and directions to get to cabin since it was a little hard to find. We would go again. The place was perfect! Just what I was looking for!

We lucked upon this listing after another VRBO cancelled on. How lucky were we! This place was 10x better than what we had planned! Here's the highlights:-- This place is pretty darn secluded. Great if you are trying to escape grindset mindset and instead just unwind. I stood outside at night and could not hear anything other than the wind.-- Has a ton of oldschool rustic charm-- The kitchen was well appointed and had plenty of counter space. -- Hot tub & wraparound with a view--the crown jewel.Caveats:The road leading up to the cabins is a little rough, but we made it ok in a Sentra.The nearby cabin is a stone's throw away, but you'll probably hit a juniper. The Verdict:5 stars is too few! Get this place while you can.

The cabin is designed and decorated beautifully. Very private and peaceful with gorgeous views off deck and also from the interior through sliding glass doors. Plenty of windows. kitchen is very functional.

Hosts thought of everything. Location is ideal for exploring the region and the cabin is beautiful.

Yes, everything was great, thanks for letting us in a little early. The firewood and use of the fireplace during the ban was a treat. Love the area, the wineries, the hot tub worked great, one of our best cabin visits ever!

We absolutely loved it. The cabin was so peaceful and quaint. We so enjoyed the fireplace the views off the back deck and the hot tub. We had an amazing and peaceful weekend. It was just what we needed. We highly recommend a getaway at the Emerald.

Overall the cabin was clean and relaxing. The only issue we had was the bed and bedding was rather old and uncomfortable.

The view and privacy were perfect for our little get away.

PROS: This is a very cute, well-stocked one-bedroom cabin in the Hill Country. We loved how private and secluded it felt, and the deck has amazing views — perfect for sipping tea or coffee in the morning. It’s very peaceful and relaxing, and still just a short drive into Wimberley.CONS: The only downside was the mattress. It’s old, very soft, and saggy even after we removed the topper, which left my us with a sore neck and back for several days. We a slender-average weight. Everything else about the stay was wonderful, but the bed really needs to be updated.With a new mattress, this would easily be a five-star getaway!

About 8 miles outside of Wimberley. Extremely well done cabin on hilltop. Great escape. Not for kids as it is surrounded by woods and not really suited for children. Sister cabin is about 40 yards away but still very secluded. Works well either by itself or close enough to other cabin to allow for a larger group. Perfect for a couple’s retreat.

The views was beautiful. Very clean.The only problem was no even on oven mitten to take food out oven. Just one kitchen towel and no dish dish cloth. Cabin only has salt and pepper. Overal we enjoyed taking walks and see the foxes and deears

When we first arrived it was dark & the porch light was on. As I got up the stairs I could see a curtain of daddy log legs spiders over the door the door & side window. I swept them away & when we got inside you could see them covering the window again. We both grew up in the country so it a couple of spiders is on thing but a curtain is another. After taking a shower I got stung in the foot by a scorpion walking to the bed. Wildlife on the outside is fine not inside when we paid all that money to enjoy the hill country. The next day we spent in San Antonio & at the end of the night my wife almost stepped on another scorpion. So if you’re not allergic & don’t mind scorpions on the inside go for it. Beautiful cabin in the woods where you can relax and get away from humanity. Awesome views, nicely furnished and well cared for. My spouse and I enjoyed celebrating our anniversary here. Highly recommend!

While the property was within 20 minutes of Wimberly, if gave the impression of isolation. My husband and left the cabin very little. We sat on the porch, listening to the birds and taking in the scenery. We used the bbq pit

We will definitely stay here again! This little gem is off the beaten path in Wimberley. I couldn’t get over how quiet it was and the views are amazing! Check in was a breeze and this home was just what we needed. The kitchen had the basics and the bathroom and shower were nice too. Could use some updated bath towels, and the mattress was ok. Overall however, we were looking for quiet, views and peace and this is it!

Such a lovely secluded cabin. Perfect for our 17th anniversary trip. The view and hot tub were absolutely amazing. The cabin is super comfy and everything was perfect. We will definitely stay here again.

The property is exactly as described in its listing, as well as the photos. Its quiet and serene. I also picked this site because it had a hot tub to the side of the covered deck. During the day, if its hot, you can adjust to a cooler water temperature and as evening sets, warm it up. The kitchen was well supplied , furniture was comfortable and WIFI worked. Property management was professional and helpful.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and it is so peaceful and romantic.

We enjoyed the overall seclusion and peacefulness of this cabin and the hot tub was just an added bonus. Communication with the host was spot on - they answered all questions very quickly. We enjoyed our stay!

This was a lovely place for a getaway in the Hill country. Hot tub was wonderful (the lkght needs to be fixed in the tub). In a great location, jjst 5 to 10 mins from Wimberly. Wish it had an EV charging option. Highly recommended, and would visit again.

We had a great time at this cute little cabin. While the GPS link took us directly to the property, we were very thankful for the additional detailed directions. We loved the location, tucked away in the woods but still close to town with many restaurants and shops. We loved having the fireplace in the house and the provided logs! The living room was pretty dark due to us not being able to get 8 of the recess lights to turn on but there were lamps that were sufficient for what we needed.The only complaint I have is that someone showed up at the property unannounced to work on the hot tub. It wasn't a major problem but would have been nice to have a heads-up from the property manager.On the other hand, we were allowed a late checkout which we greatly appreciated. We were thankful for a smooth process for check in and out, detailed instructions, and a nice place to stay for a couple nights.

We really enjoyed our stay here. There were a few cleaning issues. The fire place was not cleaned out, there was no extra toilet paper, and the living room lights were not working.

Overall, this was a nice quiet cabin that was very secluded and serene. We enjoyed the market days, which, was the first Saturday of the month. Lots of daddy long legs on the cabin at night, but that’s part of being out in the woods. Great stay!

Quiet area. Beautiful views, sunsets were spectacular! Comfy bed. Loved the large porch and hot tub with seeing only trees and more trees. We were at tree level looking out off the balcony. While there was a cabin next door, it was far enough away that there was no sight or sound from them. Everything was well thought out inside and out. We would definitely stay again. Only disappointment was that the hot water was not hooked up in the outdoor shower.

I have stayed here twice because of how private and luxury rustic it is. This cabin is my happy place. The bed is extremely comfortable. I sleep amazing there. My only complaint would be limited time access to the property. !0am checkout is early. But overall, a beautiful cabin in the woods.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful, secluded accommodations. Wish we would have stayed a couple of more nights. Everything was as described. Easy drive to San Antonio, Austin, and wineries. Would definitely stay again!

This was a perfect little cabin for for my wife and I’s weekend getaway, we thoroughly enjoyed being able to get away from everything and being able to relax in the peace and quiet of this beautiful setting!
