Great house for our two families and kids. Loved the hot tub, although it needed some water added and the hose could not be used for lack of a water key. Rain on the metal roof was a little loud and caused some loss of sleep. Otherwise, a great home in a very nice and quiet neighborhood.

Fantastic location in a quiet neighborhood away from road noise on the West Shore. We loved the authenticity of the cabin, the layout and the spacious front yard for our dog Turbo. It was great to have a backyard for BBQing & a hot tub for evening soaks. Would definitely stay here again!

This cabin checks all the boxes! Beautiful Burt Anderson architecture in a quiet neighborhood close to Sunnyside and Homewood. The cabin was well equipped for cooking in and the owners were very responsive. We loved all the details in the cabin. We brought our dog, and he loved this place as well! We will be back!

The cabin was perfect for our group of four friends. The house is beautifully built and decorated, well appointed, and very charming. The location was also great for our ski weekend, and I would recommend to anyone considering.

This home will give you the perfect cozy Tahoe cabin feel that you’re looking for! It’s a very cute and classic cabin that fit our group of 6 adults very comfortably with room to spare. The home is well stocked with everything you need to cook at home but also very close to many great restaurants and bars along the lake. Only about 15m to Palisades and Alpine where we went skiing. Very kind and responsive host!

We stayed at cabin for ski week and couldn’t have been happier with the accommodation. Within easy driving range of most ski resorts. We skied Palisades last, on a Tuesday after a holiday weekend and it was great. Easy in and out. The cabin was cozy, well stocked, very close to Tahoe City for all our needs. Owners were awesome and responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a wonderful stay. The cabin is beautiful and practical, full of light, great decoration, very comfortable beds. The jacuzzi works very well. The house is 2 blocks from the lake, close to trails (esp Eagle nest trail), 20 min to Alpine and Meadows ski resorts and conveniently close to Tahoe City. Great communication with host. Highly recommended.

Over the years, we have rented many properties in the Tahoe area. Some were better than others. Having said that, we look forward to staying at this cabin again in the future. The cabin itself is pure Old Tahoe, and the outdoor areas are wonderful, both front and back yard. Gotta give it a 10 out of 10!

You can tell that someone loves this house. The minute you walk in it's warm and welcoming. Well stocked with quality kitchen appliances, pans, etc. The bedrooms are cozy and the linens good quality. The backyard better than the photos. The only note to potential renters is that the noise ordinance is 8pm PST, not 9pm as the listing notes so there is no hot tub, backyard BBQ or other use of this beautiful property after 8pm which was a bummer for an August summer vaca in Tahoe...it's not even dark yet! Would I want to go back to this house? YES! For a winter stay it would be amazing! The owner was so very nice and responsive. So, while the ordinance changed our plans for this trip, we adjusted and still had a great time.

This place is a really enjoyable stay. It's well set up for families and bringing a dog. The front yard is spacious and the backyard is nice as well. The location is walkable to Hurricane Bay and a little further to the Sunnyside area. The owner is attentive and responsive. There's easy access to good trails from the Timberland neighborhood. Arguably the only downside is that you don't get access to any of the HOA beaches, like you would if you stay in Tahoe Pines or some place that's connected with Tahoe Park Association. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
