'We stayed at the 'Billabong Cabin" for three nights mid-week , two couples and absolutely fell in love with the cabin and our hosts (Kangaroos and Kookaburras). We can highly recommend this cabin as the best view and attention to everything! The setting that is at the edge of the mountain is breathtaking and to sit and eat your meal there is awesome!'

What a beautiful haven to come and spend some wonderful quality time with some special friends. We laughed , we drank, we ate and we relaxed. Recharging the batteries, tranquillity is magnificent. Indeed this is a very special place.

Staying at Billabong has been a wonderful experience for all of us but particularly for my 2 nieces on vacation form the U.K. It is a memory we will treasure and keep forever. We have thoroughly enjoyed the lodge and have eaten, drunk, and slept very well while keeping an eye on the wildlife day and night. We love the design and floor plan of the house and the panoramic views of the valley. We found it extremely comfortable and well equipped. We loved the kangaroo D.V.D.
December 2012
The world was supposed to end on Dec. 21, 2012 during our stay at Billabong however we awoke to a incredible cloud cover where nothing was in view and we weren't sure if we were in heaven or not. As it turned out, we were all safe but our view of life had changed forever for we had experienced a little taste of heaven right here on earth at this heavenly lodge which we will always treasure.

This is one of the most beautiful places that any one of us have ever seen. Really close to a paradise! The lodge was just perfect-very well equipped and with a comfortable homey feel. The kangaroos kept us will entertained all day. We will miss their company and will cherish memories form here forever. Thank you so much.

Serenity views lovely spa very pleased with our stay
Beautiful views but the main drawcard of the hot tub on the balcony was a let down. Only one set of hot tub jets were working satisfactorily and that was the seat most away from the view. An automatic insect repellent device would also be handy here
Quiet, cosy, great view and great spa - thanks!
This was our second time spending a weekend at billabong and it’s still magical. Nothing beats the view from the hot tub, and the up close and personal experience of the wallabies for our 3 year old is so special. The cottage has everything you need and is so lovely and comfortable, we look forward to our next stay.
Our stay at Billabong was peaceful and surrounded by the beauty of nature. The place was set up well for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We enjoyed seeing and interacting with the wallabies and kangaroos on our doorstep and relaxing on the deck. The weather was cold and windy but the air con and fireplace made sure we were warm and snug. There were plenty of nature walks nearby and we utilised the common recreation area for table tennis and billiards. Overall Billabong suited our needs for a restful getaway with a beautiful view of the Paterson Valley. Would definitely love to return.
The magnificent views coupled with a regular visit from a local wallaby family made our stay a most memorable one.
Living above the clouds with the most amazing native wildlife. An absolute must see!
A cost cottage with a beautiful view. A wonderful family weekend away!
Gorgeous mountain views and so much wildlife right at the front/back door.
We really enjoyed our stay at Billabong. Great facilitates, and such a well fitted out cabin. Couldn’t ask for more! Loved seeing the wildlife up close and personal every morning, and the view is amazing! Hope to come back one day, maybe in winter to enjoy the cosy fire!
Comfortable property with fabulous views and everything you need supplied for your stay. Fabulous screened verandah so you can enjoy the outdoors without bugs all year round
A lovely cabin with a gorgeous view of the valleys below
Great romantic retreat ! Amazing views to be seen to believe . Should top up pepper and salt shakers . Pod Nespresso machine would be good too . Wonderful stay .
A lovely retreat
This location is very special, the owners of this property clearly put in the effort to make sure your stay is special. The kangaroo food was a must for our toddler! The cabin is so comfortable and homely, we can’t wait to go back!
Gorgeous location/views for a nice quiet weekend away. Warm fireplace to sit by. Hot tub looking over the rolling hills. Susan was great to communicate with. Would love to stay again!
A lovely week with a beautiful view, cosy fire, kangaroos, possums and birds. Well relaxed.
Absolutely stunning views. Sitting in the spa looking out at the mountains was one of the most peaceful experiences of my life. Loved feeding the wallabies as well. Highly recommend!
Comfortable, cozy, cabin in the clouds. This stay was a great retreat for two couples on a wine tour weekend. Proximity to vineyards in Broke/Pokolbin isn’t the closest, but the views and amenities at Billabong make it a fantastic base. Kitchen was well set up with all the dishes and utensils we needed for big cook-ups and the spa was perfect to relax in. Loved the fire to keep the place warm and cozy.
Great location great views all round great experience
Was perfect and can’t wait to stay again soon
Perfect getaway spot, only dampering experience was room 1. Mozzies were relentless every night, even with all doors and windows closed & deterrants used. Room 1 also had a musky/damp smell.
We had a lovely stay at this property. It’s a very special place to be able stay: right on a small mountain top in the wilderness. The views are spectacular and the wildlife very abundant - we loved the daily and close-up visits from wallabies, kangaroos and possums.
