Romantic Hideaway- Pet Friendly, Hot Tub, Firepit, Games

Very remote spot. Loved the super clean hot tub!!

Liked the property and the inside was neat and tidy. Only gripe about the inside is that the stairs are steep and slippery even with grippy strips on them. Not a lot going on outside, but it was fine as we didn't desire doing much on the outside of the property. Only actual gripe on the outside was the driveway. This property is literally the very last one on the road, and there was no way to turn around or pull out straight. Had to back halfway down the main road to get turned around. Other properties on the road were much more accessible. They mean it when they say to drive a 4WD.

We found we needed the recommended 4 wheel drive vehicle to get up the climb to Debbie Lane. The steep stairs to the bedroom loft were a challenge at first but we adapted. The cabin was stocked well, the hot tub was delightful and the remote setting was perfect for the rest we looked forward to.

Beautiful area. Cabin was very clean and kitchen was supplied very well, if someone needed to prepare a small meal. Ice trays where cracked, so a small mess. A little uncomfortable with flipping a braker to turn on the hot tub. Whirlpool tub did not work. TV connection didn't work the first 2 nights we were there. Information was dead on with needing a 4 wheel drive. Roads are very, very steep. Overall, a great get away. Just a little upkeep/maintenence needed. Gas station at the bottom of the hill had the BEST chicken and soft serve ice cream!

Remote and Quiet. Beautiful scenery. Cozy cabin. Ants in the bed. Television internet was terrible.

Since we had 4WD, the road was not a problem but I would not recommend 2WD, especially when the road is wet. The cabin is private and the kitchen was very cute. The hot tub was wonderful. The sofa was not very comfortable and there was no place to set a drink while you were sitting on it. The stairs to the bedroom are very dangerous and we had one close call on them. The cabin was clean with the exception of the tub. When we turned the jets on, we noticed a pink sludge coming out of the jets. Needless to say, we switched to showers for the rest of the stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was nice, clean. Few damaged items upon arrival that was quickly reported. The inside was quaint and cozy. Needed more towels and blankets. Customer service was great. The long drive way was severely in disrepair, and not mentioned in the listing. If it was, I would not have stayed. We traveled on motorcycles. The bath tub jets appeared to have not truly been cleaned with vinegar in a long time. The hot tub was nice though is overdue for updating. Water pressure, ac were all great. If before mentioned items are fixed. I would recommend to a friend.

Great spot overall, really enjoyed our stay. Nice, private setting too. There were only two of us, so it didn't matter to us, but I would point out that the double sofa bed barely qualifies as a double futon-type bed in my view. Do NOT book this place expecting two beds. It might be adequate for one, maybe two small children, but I wouldn't want to sleep on it. Otherwise, great.

We booked a last minute getaway and had a fabulous time! We loved the secluded privacy of the cabin and the hot tub was amazing after a long day on the road! We enjoyed our stay and would love to come again some day!

This place was very clean and cozy. After a day of hiking we were looking forward to soaking in the hot tub but it wouldn't turn on, we were too tired to care. The steps upstairs are very narrow so I wouldn't suggest it for an older couple. The road to get to the cabin was extremely rough, but it's no fault of the owners. The only problem with the place is the deck definitely needs work. Boards were sticking up and some were missing screws. It was definitely a nice place!

Was tatally awesome vacation.

Multiple problems encountered: smoking toaster, had to work around a coffee pot that demanded to be descaled, the sole fan vibrated and made lots of noise, the shower head streamed only one firehose stream, etc. I will say the host had the toaster and shower head replaced very quickly. The road to the unit was pretty rough - take a truck or SUV. The stairs up to the bed room were treacherous and the fact that the bathroom was downstairs made that worse. We would not choose this cabin in the future.

Every thing was perfect with the accommodations. The host was spot on with their instructions and everything was perfect

Ad stated there were games, there was one. Electric fireplace produced heat but no “flames”, shower head was like getting washed by a pressure washer. Water got hot quickly, that was great! It was very difficult to get the cover back on the hot tub, no room to get around the hot tub, top was extremely heavy. Location was great, and very private! Would have been nice to had a small trash can upstairs. Side door was very difficult to open, once you entered the code, it was getting stuck, probably due to weather conditions expanding the framing. With all that said, Overall the place was a nice place to go and get away for a few days!

Fireplace broken, one thing we really wanted. Bathroom shower head broken, came out in one strong stream. Steps ti upstairs dangerously narrow.

This was the perfect spot for a getaway. Very clean, fast response from owner when needed. Definitely recommend for 2 people needing to unplug and relax. Hot tub was amazing.

Wry great experience

Absolutely awesome!! Clean and beautiful. Easy to find. Close to everything, but far enough away to have peace!!

Overall impression was very good. It is a small quaint cabin for two. Relaxing atmosphere. Just a couple comments for those that have issues with stairs. The bedroom was in the loft (King Size Bed). Stairs are quite steep so elderly people that may have issues with stairs will need to consider. We don't have issues with it, but some may. The shower needs to be fixed. It was just a steady stream of water...like a water hose and not easy to take a shower in. Not sure how this wasn't fixed before our stay. But overall we enjoyed it. Hot tub was nice, abit dated and the cover is really torn up and somewhat difficult to move.

The cabin was not cleaned well. Cob webs , dust on ceiling fan , ceiling fan was noisy and the room it was intenede for was warm and couldnt use the fan. Ants. Hot tub wasnt really functional. We left the cabin cleaner than we found it.

The stairs are treacherous and the driveway is steep. Otherwise very well appointed.

We liked it overall. No directions for fireplace. It may have been broken. Microwave handle was broken. Steps to loft were a bit steep for us older folks. Tough road to get up to cabin. Overall we were pleased with our stay.

It was a bit dusty, we found items from previous stays such as a soda cup, bottle of water, full trash bag in the bedroom, a thc gummies wrapper, and spider webs. We didn’t find the Roku control until the last day when we were cleaning up after ourselves and We found it in the couch cushion. It needs a new bed too, it was very uncomfortable. We definitely not going back.

Our overall impression with the Cabin was not very good.As soon as we got there, there was a mouse trying to get out of a glue trap.The cabin was dirty, the Teflon on the pots and pans were mostly chipped off and there were mouse droppings in the cabinets and on the pots and pans. There were cobwebs on the walls. There was only one of the Jets in the hot tub working and none of the lights, it would’ve also been nice if it was covered so you could be outside when it was raining. We emailed management over a week ago and we haven’t had a response yet. We told them everything and sent some pictures. We think that they should’ve responded by now. Never again!

They helped us out ASAP before we drove out due to inclimate weather conditions. Offered us multiple other safe locations or cancellation/rescheduling and communicated consistently.Our cabin was clean as a whistle with every little thing we may have forgotten accomodated. It's super cute,comfortable and perfect for a getaway in the trees!!

It was a great time in the mountains with my wife. Very clean and relaxing.

The property most definitely needs 4 wheel drive to get in and out of...the hot tub was very dirty and had so much chlorine that it bleached the shirt i wore...the bed was not very comfortable...the overall cabin was cute. The stairs super steep and small...we had to cut our stay short bc of sickness...the wifi was spotty..if you wanna just get away take a ook and some food. Great but otherwise nothing like inimagined

Second time booking this secluded location. My husband and I love it, time away from responsibilities and the kids. We relax and try not to venture out unless Red Point is calling our name.

Our stay was good. Only small complaint of the lock and door handle on front door as well as very steep stairs.

Very clean and well stocked. Centrally located to everything you need like restaurants, attractions, and hiking. Heed the 4-wheel drive warning in the winter! We loved that it was the last house on the street so no car traffic driving past. Exactly like the pictures and well stocked toiletries. No dishwasher so dish tabs are not needed. Loved having a washer and dryer. The stairs are really steep so if you have issues getting up and down stairs I would pass. Only reason for 4 stars is the couch. It is not conducive to a romantic getaway or lounging. It is pretty much two recliners attached. Only thing I would change in the cabin, but we were gone a lot of the time so it didn't matter much. Check-in/out was a breeze and really easy. Communication was very detailed. Would stay again and recommend!

We live in Lexington KY, and just wanted to get away for several days. This cabin had everything we needed and was very clean. Hot tub worked great. Private and beautiful location. Near tons of great hikes. One downside: stairs to loft not save for older guests (didn't matter for us); very steep. Would stay again.

This cabin was in a secluded area but super close to everything. Very convinent and also clean!! Gorgeous and cozy cabin!
