Absolutely beautiful cabin, clean and comfortable!

We absolutely loved your cabin. It was so cozy and clean and very quiet in the area surrounding it. The location was awesome. We were less than 25 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. We definitely recommend staying here.

The dishwashers was left for us to unload when we arrived. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. The only vent in the bedroom is blocked by the bed, so sleeping was difficult due to being hot. There is no fan in the bedroom to help circulates the air.The good thing is that the owners were very kind and helpful when asked questions.The cabin is close to the river where you just walk across the property to fish or enjoy the river. The road/area was not busy. Very private.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very clean and cozy cabin. Downtown Blue Ridge is about 25 min away and we really enjoyed Harvest on Main, Blue Ridge Creamery and the Twisted Tomato. There are plenty of shops for home goods, mountain and fishing outfitters, and souvenir gift shops.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The cabin was extremely clean and fit our needs. I just thought it was a little closer to the water. The owners were great to work with and always answered our questions right away.

Exactly what we were looking for. Secluded, but not far from town, wood burning fireplace, hot tub. Cooked Thanksgiving Dinner for my wife and I. Then sat in front of a nice fire

We went for our honeymoon and hope to be able to return next year for our anniversary. The wildlife being so close was amazing we saw plenty of deer, babies too! The quite was relaxing and the views were beautiful. The thought that the hosts put into the home was noticed. The kitchen was fully stocked; we had everything we needed. We enjoyed being able to prepare meals together on the grill or in the kitchen. The cleanliness of the home and surrounding property speaks to the amount of love and care that goes into the home. There was a little walk down to the river but it is not bad and you can see and hear the river from the cabin especially in the hot tub. The cabin has a very secluded feel but wasnt too far from a convenient store or to Wal-Mart in Blue Ridge. You don't really need a 4 wheel drive to get there although I see where it could come in handy. The driveway is pretty steep; after the first day we used the truck to drive to the easement and walked to the river from there. That was easier on my knees. The river access goes right into the river. I walked to the middle of the river and fished from there. That was an amazing experience for me. The dam releases are worth looking at if you do want to get into the river because the water gets very high and very fast. We absolutely loved our stay and have already decided to make it our little getaway place!

Private, secluded cabin with beautiful views. Many things to do nearby or just relax with no neighbors. Deer in front yard every morning.Very clean cabin with all essentials needed including a great hot tup and front porch to relax on.

The cabin sits up a small holler about a hundred yards from the river. Down by the river, you have a dock and a couple of private ways to sit and enjoy. The cabin is relatively new, so everything looks and works great—very comfortable bed and furniture. The Internet was good. It’s also located in an area that makes it easy to jump out into nature and go hiking or run into towns for supplies or great food. Ellijay has great food too. Very clean, and the hosts are quick to respond. Would recommend. Perfect for a two-person getaway. The hot tub was well-kept, too. We loved the space.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the river! The setting was relaxing and quiet. The cabin was clean and comfortable. It checked all our boxes. We found the best time to fish was from around 6-8:30am since dams are released throughout the day. The location is convenient to Blue Ridge and McCayesville with plenty of wildlife to view! Ellen is a wonderful hostess and quick to respond to our questions. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property!

Great stay!

Great long weekend. The house is newly remodeled with everything you need. Nice bedroom and bath. Kitchen and living room with a wood burning fireplace and all the wood you could need. Great view of the river with access. 4x4 not needed but low riders will not like the small branch you must drive through. Over all perfect stay. My only suggestion would be a ceiling fan in the bedroom.

made my reservation in November and spoke with the host many times. My ck in was Dec 5thand on Dec2 she told me about a 3inch deep creek I had to drive ove and the driveway need to be driven up in low gear

We have been to the Blue Ridge area with our children and family in the past. This was NOT that trip. We planned a quiet week away for the two of us (my wife and I), and this property hit all of our benchmarks. The cabin is located close enough to Blur Ridge and Ellijay to make it a last minute day trip, but also close enough to Helen and Chattanooga for a day of fun. The property was spotless with all the needed amenities. Even though the river is a short walk, it was visible from the front porch and quick to get to with a glass of wine and a fishing pole. Ellen was great to deal with and we are hoping she has other property(s) we may be able to visit as a family as this was first class all the way. Highly recommend to the couple that needs some peace and quiet. Thank you again to our hosts.

This cabin is very close to McCaysville and not a bad drive to blue ridge. Cabin is extremely clean and modern. Large window in main area that looks out onto river. All the conveniences of home in the kitchen. Wood burning stove was great during 25 nights.

This cabin was the cleanest and most perfect cabin for just my husband and I that we have ever stayed at. Overall, everything was perfect from beginning to end. The only improvement I could ask for would be a new mattress.

I found the cabin itself to be as described and the owner to be very nice. I did not find the location to be accurate being described as “on the river”. The cabin is actually across the street and about 180 yards from the river. You do have access to the river, but the cabin is not on the river. River view with access would be more appropriate. The photos don’t show how far the cabin is actually away and across the street from the river. If your looking for a cabin on the water like I was, this is not it.

I have nothing but great things to say about our stay at this little cabin. We were there for a week for our honeymoon. There is a reason it was voted one of the ten most romantic cabins in GA. The surroundings are peaceful, private, and off the beaten path. The cabin is clean, well appointed and cozy. We had the best time. If you like to be out and about, there is a lot to do in the surrounding areas. The cabin is also a perfect place to just relax and hang out if that's more your speed. The BEST VBRO!

Loved this property and all that entailed. Main objective was to relax and enjoy the peace & quiet. Enjoyed morning coffee and hot tub, the sound of the river, and all amenities that came with. A home away from home, beautiful bonus, NO KIDS!!
