Romantic Cabin Hot tub~Sauna~Fireplace~Restaurants

Excellent property and location for a relaxing weekend getaway. It was private and secluded. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We loved the fireplace, the hot tub, and the back porch the best. We were especially impressed with the small details such as included coffee creamer and shampoo/conditioner. Several good dining options are close by which we appreciated as well as the hiking trails at Hocking Hills. We will be returning to this wonderful property.

Upon checking in at four we tried to turn the stereo one and it didn’t work correctly. We were enjoyed the hot tub in the sauna the deck for dinner and we were getting ready for bed. It was supposed to be a hide a bed. There was no hide to bed so the baby slept on the couch. It was booked for three people, we thought we were going to a quiet cabin in the woods. The cabin was next to the highway, and you heard it all night long that was the really only drawback.

The communication with the host was great. I didn’t happen to see a skillet to cook with, which would have been helpful. I also would have liked somewhere to hang our clothes. The cabin was clean and so cute and cozy!

The space was beautiful, and we loved the Tenpur-Pedic bed! Ryan was incredibly responsive, and we could tell it was genuinely important to him that we enjoyed our stay. We would absolutely recommend this cabin!

We cannot say enough good about Ryan and his wife! We had a date booked and ended up having a sick kid. Ryan was very quick to accommodate and let us switch to a different date at the last minute. The cabin was beautiful and tucked away in a quiet neck of the woods, with a beautiful view. Very quiet and cozy! 10/10 would recommend! We will definitely be back!

The cabin was so homey and comfortable. It was a wonderful, relaxing stay. We were able to snuggle up and get some much needed rest. The hot tub and sauna were a nice reprieve from the cold weather. Rejuvenating!

Communication was great. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The location was great, and the access to other grocery stores was available. The fireplace and fire pit provided were great as well.

The cabin was so cute and cozy! We had a few fires in the fireplace. We used the hot tub and sauna almost every day. The hill getting up to the furthest cabin was a little nerve wracking at first, but it was much easier after a couple times going up and down. Overall it was a wonderful vacation and we would do it again!

My wife and I were quite disappointed with our stay at Lazy Bear cabin. The first thing that took us back was the long and steep gravel driveway that’s washboarded. It’s needs scraped. Someone with a low clearance vehicle could have problems getting up it. The cabin itself is very small. There is no place to hang or place your clothes so you are living out of your suitcase the entire stay. The cabin is fairly clean, we did notice dog hair on the floor. Not quite sure about the decor, victorian hobby lobby? Being located in Hocking Hills and with a name “Lazy Bear”, you’d think there would be at least one picture of a bear. There are no directions for the fireplace, hot tub or sauna so hopefully you know what you’re doing. We were there in the fall, most leaves were off the trees and you will notice you have a neighbor in the distance so it is not completely private, in the summertime, you would be. There is no yard. If you bring a pet, they’re limited to the driveway basically or woods. But the biggest downfall of this cabin is the freeway noise. You don’t notice it too much inside but outside is very loud which defeats the purpose of a peaceful or quiet stay. The host is in contact and wants a 5 star review which I can appreciate but I think people deserve an honest review.

CHARMING and BEAUTIFUL is how I would describe this cabin tucked away in the woods. Everything was super clean. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. Communication with the owner/host was excellent. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

Cabin was nice and cozy. Hot tub and sauna clean and in working condition. Only downside of cabin was no closet to put our things in.

It was perfect for what we needed. The hot tub and sauna were a huge plus. The only downfall was we didn’t sleep well in the bed, it was pretty hard.

Sits way back off the road, and felt secluded, which we liked. Host was great and the cabin was beautiful. We especially liked the hot tub and deck. The only drawback was the noise from the very busy freeway about 1000 feet below. If you were used to it it would be no problem. You could hardly hear it inside the cabin though. We enjoyed our stay and slept very well on the biggest king bed I’ve ever seen!!!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin! We arrived with it very clean and very well kept. We appreciated how the host did the small things, such as already having the hot tub warmed up for us. The host was also extremely communicative and readily available. We had no issue finding the place and no questions for the host due to the immense and wonderful detail that they shared with us prior. Overall a great experience and would recommend to anyone visiting the hocking area

So check in was easy.. Ryan was super nice! Kitchen was super nice! I just wanted to add, this was my first time using Vrbo and after my stay I had another trip later in the week in Cincinnati and after staying at Ryan’s cabin I can conclude by far I would pick this cabin over and over again hands down! Just not the same experience and I enjoyed my stay way more in hocking hills. 10 out of 10

The stay was great and the location was perfect. Easy to get to but very secluded.

Had a wonderful time. Spent a few days our our honeymoon here. We wanted something with privacy. This cabin is very private. Outside looks like a typical cabin, but inside is extremely nice and very clean. Very well built. On the back porch with hot tub, you can hear the highway, but inside you can't hear anything so it is very peaceful inside the cabin. My only caution is that the driveway up is very steep and gravel paved, if your car has low clearance you will have issues.

We had a nice stay at the cabin. Very clean. Everything you need if you want to cook . It is also close to a nice little lake with beach access where you can rent a pontoon , kayak, or paddle boards. The hot tub at the cabin was nice after hiking. Hockin Hills is not that far away . Cabin is set back in woods no neighbors. It was nice.

The owner of the cabin was very nice and accommodating when we wanted to do an early check in. We arrived a few hours early. Then we enjoyed a full day of hiking followed by a wonderful dinner at Millstone BBQ. Then a relaxing time in the hot tub with music and laying in the chaise chairs under the stars on a clear night. There’s plenty of shopping and antiquing nearby as well as a cute coffee shop and store with Amish goods. Would definitely come back to this place!
