Stayed Jan 2, 2026This cabin was exactly what my husband and I envisioned for our Big Bear family vacation. We loved everything about the cabin. The all wood features from head to toe made the cabin super cozy and comfy! From the brick fireplace to the antique fixtures in the bathrooms and kitchen was perfect. The communication and instructions were super easy once I was able to slow down and see them listed right at the front door!! But even then the host kindly answered any of my texts. We took our lil Frenchie with us and he adapted really well to the environment. This cabin was the best and we would definitely recommend to a small family of 6 even though they had a few extra trundle beds available. I wouldn’t suggest anyone over 6’4” or on the heavier side only because the ceilings are low and the stairway is small and tight. Other than that, this cabin was a 10/10! We even left a little thank you gift to add to their shot glass collection! We are grateful/thankful for the core memories!

Stayed Nov 22, 2025Our family had a wonderful stay at Rocky Ridge Cabin! The location is absolutely ideal—just a short walk to beautiful Boulder Bay and only minutes from the Village, making it easy to enjoy everything Big Bear has to offer. The property itself is truly unique. The cabin is built on a giant boulder and surrounded by massive rocks on over half an acre, with nothing behind it except a mountain of boulders. This creates an incredible sense of privacy and serenity that we really appreciated.Inside, the décor strikes a perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort. The bathrooms and kitchen deserve special mention—they were well-appointed and stylish. While the furniture could use some updating, the overall atmosphere was cozy and inviting. One fun surprise was the hidden game room tucked away in the walk-in closet! Unfortunately, the TV in that space didn’t work for us, but it was still a neat feature. The backyard was the highlight of the property. With synthetic turf, multiple BBQs, and a large dining table for al fresco meals, it’s an amazing space for family gatherings. Kids have plenty of room to play, and the setting is just beautiful.Overall, Rocky Ridge Cabin offers a unique and peaceful retreat in a prime location. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable Big Bear getaway!
