If you travel with dogs, stop looking and book this cabin. We have stayed at many pet-friendly rentals, but this is the first one that truly prioritizes the dogs. From the fenced-in yard with outdoor lighting to the dedicated, fully fenced sniff spot across the street, our pups had the time of their lives. The owners even let us email photos of our dogs to be displayed on a digital frame during our stay—a touch we’ve never seen anywhere else!The Highlights:Accessibility: The cabin is all on one level, which is a rare find in the mountains and perfect for older dogs or guests with mobility concerns.The Creek: Having private access to the water with a picnic table, movable chairs was incredible. It’s mountain cold, but the dogs loved splashing while we had lunch by the water.Amenities: The kitchen is remarkably well-stocked (including kids' plates/utensils and an instant hot water tap), and the master King bed was incredibly comfortable—we slept like rocks.Cleanliness & Privacy: The exterior was impressively clean (hardly any cobwebs!), and being on a dead-end street meant zero neighbor noise and very minimal traffic.A Few Tips for Future Guests:The Drive: The final 2.5 hours into the area for us was very hilly with narrow, winding roads. However, the driveway itself is paved, which makes the steep incline much easier to manage than gravel.Terrain: The property and the sniff spot are hilly/slanted (your calves will get a workout!)

This property welcomed my 2 boy very well.. it's sooo pet friendly. They enjoyed it a lot. The hot tub was hot enough. We loved it a lot.

We loved our weekend getaway here! Our pups had so much fun, they especially the back deck where they could hang out and sun bathe. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything needed to cook a lovely meal. This is the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation with your fur babies. We will definitely be back!

We truly did enjoy our stay at this beautiful cabin. It was cozy and definitely relaxing. You can tell the owners really do care about their guests and especially their dogs!! Our dogs enjoyed the fenced in area and deck to have fun on. We definitely plan on returning.

The house is in a great location and is very comfortable. We didn't have the best weather, but all the games and amenities made for a fun and relaxing stay. Unfortunately, our friends couldn't make the trip, so we will have to book again

This was an amazing stay for us! The host was great and very responsive to our messages. The cabin was well stocked and had plenty of dog supplies. We always bring our own dog supplies but had we forgotten something, they had what was needed for the pups. This is our favorite VRBO by far. We will be back in the summer to enjoy the creek when it is warmer.

Everything was perfect from the moment we pulled in.. Everything was clean and inviting..There was cute little decorations of Bears, and even a little Christmas tree was in the cabin.. Anything you would need for your dogs, in case you forgot something was there as well.. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates, bowls, pots, pans, utensils.. Everything cleaned!! Hot tub was perfect,, Sound of the creek flowing was amazing.. This cabin is the best one we have ever stayed in.. Communication with the host were great as well.. Thank youu sooo much.. Beautiful and cozy cabin. The third bedroom was smaller than it appeared in the photos, but it was no big deal. One of the things I loved was how organized things were. The front area for the dogs was fantastic. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the dog park due to the weather and the times we tried to, others were there. But overall, it was a wonderful and relaxing time.

Wow the dig amenities were incredible. We usually pack a lot of extra dog supplies but this home had it all. Our 70 lb German Shepherd was in heaven. We also loved sitting out by the creek and enjoying a fire in the evening. Best of all it was located so close to everything. We will definitely return again. Hosts were very helpful and answered questions.

The cabin was perfect! The smallest details for pups was more than expected and every detail was nailed. The river was beautiful and peaceful and the fenced in yard was clutch!

Communication with the owner was easy and always on time. Accommodation for pets is A! Ease of travel from location. The comfortability, cleanliness and resourcefulness of everything available was almost perfect, unbelievably peaceful and love the wildlife.

The place was very clean and appeared exactly as advertised. Anything and everything we needed from a pizza cutter to pots and pans to flashlights and bug spray was available. It was like being home. Literally everything worked in the cabin from the oven to all the lights inside and out. There was even supplies for dogs. The setting outside on the creek was amazing. We would definitely book Bear's Creek Retreat again.

Amazing stay at the cabin!

The cabin was well illuminated and had signs that led to it. The drive way is quite steep but there was room for us to park a full size 2500, a sedan, and a suv comfortably. Walmart is approximately 10 minutes away in case you need to grab anything. Overall a fantastic place to stay.

This creekside cabin is a home away from home that the fur babies can enjoy too. Our two dogs loved being able to play in the creek. The fenced in area to let me out was very convenient. The rooms were very spacious and comforting. The owners had all the supplies needing for taking fur babies and also extra linens for the beds & towels to dry them with. We loved our stay and will definitely be visiting again!

We stay in a mountain cabin every year and this one was absolutely the best. We picked this one based on it being pet friendly and the fenced in yard. It was beyond pet friendly! It had everything to make the stay great for you and your pets.

Great property all around this is our second year back and looking forward to returning. Great host property is set up fantastic for us and our dogs. Nice to see improvements being done as well always trying to improve the guest experience.

We stayed at this cabin for a month and loved it. The host was super kind and helpful. The cabin had everything we needed and tons of stuff for our dog. The location made it a quick trip to visit not just Blue Ridge, but also nearby towns.I already miss my morning coffee on the deck by the babbling stream. the stream

This was a nice cabin. The creek is very pretty. The driveway is very steep, but there is enough space for 2 vehicles to park and even back up and pull out again. (Large truck) The appliances were all in working order and there are plenty of dishes and utensils available. The location is pet friendly and they even had a little snack for our elderly dog. I think she had the best time lounging around.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Favorite part was sitting in the creek with the Adirondack chairs! So nice that we got to bring our pups along too. Would love to come back again. Heads up to those looking to book (as I was wondering about this myself) - there are neighbors in close proximity to the property, though we didn’t really see them while we were there.

The cabin was beautiful in a great location! Super dog friendly which made the stay easier. My teenagers loved it and we would love to stay here again.

Our dogs are part of our family and to have a fenced in yard right in front of cabin was a huge plus. Cabin is very nice and we loved the fact it’s right on the river.

This was a great property. Very accommodating for our pups, and a nice quaint spot with the creek. Close enough to town and good hikes, but feels secluded. It is pretty close to the neighbors, but that wasn’t too much of an issue. Clean and cute for a nice weekend away.

We loved the cabin. They have all the little things that you wish you had in a stay. We were not lacking for anything. Very clean and nice. Close to town but great location on Fightingtown Creek.

The cabin and property were beautiful. The creek is lovely. The accommodations were comfortable and very clean. We made use of the hot tub, fireplace, grill and fire pit. The location is perfect for quick trips to downtown Blue Ridge and Mercier Farms Apple Orchards. I hope to come back again in the summer.

This really is the dog-friendliest cabin I've ever rented. No oh you can bring your dog but keep them off the furniture (is that even possible?), and instead there are couch covers and dog blankets for the bed. Then you've got the private dog park across the street which was great to give the pups a place to run around. The creek is fantastic, the cabin is great, and the location is convenient.

We love our cabin by the creek. It felt like home. We planned our vacation 6 months ago. But ended using our vacation as an evacuation as Milton barreled towards Tampa Bay. The owner Debra was understanding our our situation and was very helpful. The cabin was perfect for our family of 5 adults. Our 2 dogs were very welcomed. The cabin had everything we needed. The sound of the river was soothing. We love Mercier orchard and the town of Blueridge so close. We also did some hiking. Sat by the fire pit and roasted marshmallows. Just what we needed to take our mind off our city and the devastation . We will be back soon!

Property was incredible. The driveway ingress and egress tests your skills but once you've mastered it's fantastic. Hope to visit again in the future.

We arrived earlier than we expected and the owners were warm and inviting when letting me know that they had seen we arrived a little early. Throughout the entire stay the communication between us was on point and very soothing. The home is absolutely warm, inviting and tranquil. The depiction of this amazing home did not disappoint in any way. The rooms were more than what we expected and the cozy setting allowed for constant relaxation. The warm and charming decor was visually pleasing every time you entered the home. The ease of accessing the home was fluid and comforting for the unfamiliar settings. We planned on getting away to relax and that is exactly what we were able to do while we were there. The outdoor setting is absolutely amazing and I found myself sitting on the swing for over an hour taking in the beauty and sounds of the river below. We spent several hours out on the deck just simply enjoying the ambiance and again relaxing to the natural settings around us. It was the first time for fly fishing, but after this experience it won’t be the last. The men loved the experience and even took a guided trip to further enhance their experience. I am definitely looking forward to staying again in the future. If I could rate this stay higher than a 5, I would most assuredly do it. Amazing, amazing, amazing.

I can’t even explain how nice this house is. From the moment we walked in it was SUPER clean and smelled amazing. The hosts provide so much. We have never stayed at a home where the hosts provided as much as they do here. The rooms were beautiful and the beds were super comfy. The outside area was amazing as well. The hosts provide so much for your furry friends as well. It rained most of the time we were there but we enjoyed all the games that were provided and got to spend quality family time together. If you are looking for a great home to stay at in Blue Ridge Ga this is a must!

My husband and I stayed a week with our 2 dogs and had a wonderful time! They have every thing you could possibly want or need and have truly thought of everything! It was the most well ap pointed rental we’ve ever stayed in. Our favorite parts were the beautiful view from the deck, relaxing in the hot tub after hiking, walking the dogs in the creek and the nightly fires in the lovely fire pit area! Our pups really enjoyed playing in the creek and running around in the private dog park! I wanted to mention that the back deck on the house was fully gated- this was especially convenient for us as our dogs could hang out with us enjoy the view, leash free! We will definitely rent here again when we return to Blue Ridge! Thank you to the lovely hosts for providing such beautiful, thoughtful and welcoming accommodations!

Absolutely loved our time here. Wished we were able to stay longer. Brought our two dogs and the property was set up extremely well for pets. Enjoyed fishing in the stream and relaxing at night by the fire pit or in the hot tub. Was a great stay ready to book again.

We stayed here for a week. Very relaxing, if you do not avail yourself of the local activities, such as mountain biking, which is great - I went four times. Access to the creek was the highlight. This was a really nice place and the owners made it very pleasant for a relaxing vacation.

Excellent river house! Our dogs enjoyed it as much as we did. We all enjoyed the river being so close to the house. The dogs played and swam. We loved using the Adirondack chairs in the river. The house was extremely clean, and everything we needed was provided. There was even toothbrushes and toothpaste in case we forgot. We didn’t use, but such a nice touch. Close to town for our college girls to go into town and shop. Ocoee river rafting close by. Highly recommend this house! Thank you for being dog friendly!!
