I was able to stay there with my three dogs and enjoy the beautiful sound of the River. My dogs enjoyed getting in the water! It rained and the sound of the rain and river gave me an inner peace that I needed and wanted. The cabin is better in person. We will book in the upcoming future. Thank you!

The cover was very cumbersome and difficult to remove and replace. The flashlight under kitchen sink did not work. Overall the place was in excellent condition and very comfortable. We had everything we needed in the cabin, and Sliding Rock provided helpful instructions and guides. I would suggest updating the mattress, but overall, our stay was enjoyable. We would like to check out some of the other cabins bu sliding rock. I loved that the deck had gates all the way around, so our dog couldn't wander off while we were out there. Having a fenced-in yard area for the dog was also a big plus.

We will return again, but definitely for a longer stay. The bed was very comfortable and the hotter was a nice amenity. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and there actually weren't any neighbors in the cabins next to us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the first overnight trip we've been able to take with the girls (Sophie, Panda and Ginny) since we moved to the Atlanta area. I don't know who had more fun, us or them. Getting to the cabin was easy, the instructions were spot on. And the cabin was exactly as described. We appreciated all the extras that were left out for the girls, making them feel at home as well. At home they are allowed on all the furniture, but we understand how their fur can get anywhere, so we really appreciated the extra covers so they could go anywhere and lay down where they wanted, and we didn't have to be stressed keeping them off of anything. Since it was winter, we didn't hang out all that much on the balcony or the fenced yard with them, but when we come back in warmer weather we will for sure take advantage of the fenced areas. (Yes, of course we're coming back!) Sophie loved the access to the water, she got to run around in the river. Everything was clean, and easy to find and use. Communication was easy, as well as getting the key. We've already recommended it to friends. Seeing as it was a quick weekend getaway at the end of the winter holidays, once we got to the cabin we stayed and enjoyed the quiet and calm. And whatever coffee beans they leave for you... really good coffee!

The deck right next to the river was the perfect place to read, listen to the water, and sip on a cup of coffee. My second favorite place was the bedroom with a huge tv and a separate sunroom with a great view of the water and a separate door opening onto the deck right next to the hot tub. The size is great for one or two people, and my dogs and I enjoyed our stay immensely. The cabin is pet friendly with bowls and towels for the fur baby and a fenced yard off the deck--great for letting the three of my fur babies out all at once. (I walk them separately on a leash.) Communication with the rental management was great. I left for home rested and with good memories.

We had a very relaxing time. Sweet cozy cabin in a beautiful place. Exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. We had everything we needed to just relax and enjoy! Can't wait to be back.

Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed our time at River's Reach-the cabin was comfortable and cozy and the river's soothing sounds were great to sleep by.The small office directly overlooking the river was well set up and terrific.The only recommendation is to have the toilet seat changed and updated and to also start the process to have the dock repaired as it was damaged and we couldn't access the riverfront.The next door neighbor had just begun their dock repair process while we were there.The road isn't paved and while it wasn't terrible to get to the cabin-there were a lot of areas where the potholes were rather large.

Some drivers might be uncomfortable navigating it, but we had no issues. I suspect those who want to venture out everyday, like for sight-seeing or meals, would not choose a place so deep in the woods. We were quite content at this cabin, and have no problem recommending it, but would likely pick a different cabin in the future.

We sat on the deck or the steps and listened to the river. The only thing that would make this cabin better would be to have the Wi-Fi password so that our cell phones would function. We did appreciate that there was a land line and gave the number to family for emergencies.

This property was very nice. We enjoyed listening to the river while sitting outside and in the hot tub. Everything was very comfortable and our dogs liked it as well.

The hot tub was also perfect location and views. Highly recommend for a weekend away. We also love to cook breakfast and light dinners. The kitchen was perfect for this!
