Stayed Dec 24, 2020We loved this cozy cabin. Watching the river from the living room was soothing, and the hot tub and fire pit were very relaxing. The kitchen had everything we needed to prep the food we brought with us. Check-in and check-out were very easy, and the cabin was easy to find. Only very minor downsides were a slight cleanliness concern (the bathtub hadn't been thoroughly cleaned) and it took us a while to figure out how to turn the heat on (it had been completely shut off prior to our arrival, maybe by accident). But those were minor things and overall we had a great stay!

Stayed Sep 9, 2020This is a great place in a really beautiful location. The owner is very helpful. Unfortunately during our stay the hot-tub was not in operation. Also the cabin is not air-conditioned, so in very hot weather, which is when we stayed, it can be a bit warmer than we would like. However we look forward to returning, it's well worth it!

Stayed Feb 15, 2026Very relaxing and quiet, the place was clean and wasn’t super crowded for a tiny home. Really loved the hot tub and the view from the tub was great. Our first morning dip there were 4 deer walking along the river, that was very cool.

Stayed Dec 16, 2025The location was pretty cool! Being so near the entrance of the national park was awesome. And even though the weather wasn't the best, some great views. Staring out at the river from the hot tub was awesome. The only down side is that both nights we lost power at exactly 11:30pm and then gained it back at 8:30am. It seemed like it was on a timer lol. Needless to say there were some cold nights. Wifi was incredibly spotty so don't plan to do any remote work. But that's what we came to the wilderness for (to unplug).

Stayed Dec 12, 2025River's Edge was the perfect weekend getaway. Quiet, private and set on the river. Gorgeous views and only 23 miles from Paradise. The town of Ashford had everything we needed from bundles of wood to hot cooked meals with friendly service. The hot tub and fire pit were our favorite part of our escape from reality.

Stayed Dec 5, 2025Wow, where to start. We arrived to some power surges but they were prepared and had a backup generator in case things got worse, then the HotTubs power went out and got cold overnight, we went in but it was cold. Called Meshell and in the first 5 minutes of calling, she arrived and fixed our issue. We didn't get to use it the 2nd night because it had to warm up but Meshell said we could use the other HotTub 2 cabins down in the meantime. I MEAN C'MON, service doesn't get better than that. We never got to see the backside of Mount Rainier because of the rain, but it gave a very Revenant feeling with Leonardo Dicaprio. The nightime was spooky and not a glimmer of light or 1 human being in sight. Beds were stiff and we woke up sore the first nightTons of exploring to do if your willing to walk across a tree bridge to the right of the river. Don't fall in, be slow and careful.

Stayed Sep 1, 2025The cabin definitely exceeded our expectations. Our road trip through Oregon and Washington revealed that some of the places we stayed weren’t as described but this was the complete opposite. Clean, private, and well equipped with a backyard view. Who could ask for more? Extremely close to the national park in a quaint little neighborhood. 100% recommend.

Stayed Aug 13, 2025We loved staying at this cozy home. My only complaint was the lady that just randomly walked up to the property to check the hot tub. Maybe it was in the small print or something that someone would be coming by and I missed it? She was also a little rude when I asked her what she was doing. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay and we really enjoyed it.

Stayed Jul 29, 2025Excellent location for Mt. Rainier NP, plenty of food options nearby if you don't want to cook but grill and full kitchen in the cabin if you do. Bliss to jump in the hot tub then sit on the porch after a long hike. The view is lovely, and all you really hear is the river and the birds. Loved it here.

Stayed Jul 27, 2025The check in process couldn’t have been easier. We loved how close it was to the park, and there were plenty of restaurants to choose from that weren’t that far from the cabin as well. For the day that we chose to just relax, sitting on the porch, soaking in the hot tub or walking down by the river, it was a perfect way to spend the day. The cabin had everything that we could have possibly needed. We will definitely go back!

It was easy to find and get in using the provided door code, the place was clean and well stocked, fans kept it nice and cool, grill and hot tub were fully functional without issue, and the outdoor space was private and stunning. It was about a 5 minute drive to restaurants and 10 to the national park entrance. I only wish we had stayed longer!

Stayed May 2, 2025Situated very near the entrance to Mt. Rainier, this tiny house/cabin is perfect base for day trips into the park. Wake up to birds feeding over the Nisqually river, hit Mt. Rainier park, then wind down after a day of hiking watching the sunset turn the treetops and hills flaming red to match the embers glowing in the firepit at your toes. Host was very responsive to all contact requests. This isn't a luxury hotel, but gives you a soft bed and a warm shower at the end of the day with convenient access.

Stayed Apr 26, 2025Overall our stay at this property was wonderful. The amenities worked as advertised. We loved the hot tub and the fire pit, though our favorite part about this place was exploring the river behind the property. Our only issue was getting the coffee maker to work, so my wife had cowboy coffee while we watched the birds on our last morning. We’d definitely come back.

Stayed Jul 17, 2024This was a great place to stay for a couple of days that had easy access to Mt Rainier. Clean cabin with every thing we needed. One note - the pictures that show the stream/river were taken when the brush was much lower. With summer growth, you don’t get a good view of it while sitting on the porch. Not a reason to not stay there. Just sharing for awareness. We were also there when day time highs were right around 80. With the fans and open windows, we were generally comfortable.
