Stayed May 28, 2026We had a great time…. Beautiful area. Overall a good experience. Location is great. Firepit by the river is great. House is very clean (needs updated furniture). Porch is very nice too with a great view of the river, but it needs more outdoor furniture and also updated furniture. Kitchen is large and has all utensils. Parking is plentiful and easy to access.

Stayed May 14, 2026This is the second time we have stayed at this property. Really like the location with the deck overlooking the river. The owner has been very responsive in a timely manner the couple of times we have had to communicate with him during trip. The inside bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen are clean.

Stayed Aug 15, 2025Fantastic location!! The porch and fire pit area are awesome. There are window a/c units in both bedrooms at opposite ends of the house. The living area was warm. Appliances are dated, but the location is outstanding . We loved having coffee in the mornings and a cocktail in the evenings on the porch or by the river.

Stayed Aug 10, 2025Great Location! The back porch and lower level on the Nantahala River were very fun. You could sit and watch rafts, duckies and kayaks go by all day. Check-in was very easy. Place need some upgrades. It was a blast back to 1980.

Stayed May 14, 2025Enjoyed the deck which was right on top of the river. Watched the kayakers and paddle boaters go by along with the GSMR train on the other side. House was very clean. Took me a minute to figure out the HDMI cable is shared between the Dish and DVD player. Might consider a small window shade in the bedroom with 2 queen beds. Owner was immediately responsive over text. Hope to go back again.

Stayed Dec 27, 2024Came into town to ride the polar express and make memories with the family and thought that i could do a little trout fishing from the bank while staying here. Unfortunately it rained and we didnt get the chance
