Riverfront Log Cabin 1 1/2 Mile From The Entrance Of The GSM National Park

This cabin is wonderful! The location is perfectly located for enjoying Townsend and especially the Little River, which is right in the back yard. Very convenient for GSMNP and Cades Cove wonderings. We have stayed in this cabin several times and it feels like home. It has everything we need and the owner is very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We feel fortunate to have found it and have already booked our next stay!

Such a great place to stay! Very clean with everything you would need. Loved the decor and river out back. Cool porch swings to relax on while enjoying my morning coffee. Excellent communication with the host. Close to the park entrance and in a quiet community. We will be back!

This is a very sweet little property on the river front. We spent a LOT of time on that back porch just listening to the river and watching birds. Check out the upper parts of the trees every morning, and you'll likely see a bald eagle. It is close to everything in Townsend, which is such a lovely town. The place was spotlessly clean, the TV is a ROKU TV, which meant we could watch most of our services if you know your passwords, and there was plenty of hot water. Some know before you go items: bring a sharp knife or two, bring an extra dish towel, and if you want to keep leftovers, you should bring storage containers too. This was a five-star VRBO. So many don't live up to the pictures, and this one did. A rustic cabin on the river that is perfect for a getaway.

We had a wonderful time. Loved the cabin, it was very cozy. Hearing the river and watching the eagles in the evening was relaxing. Will book our stay here again.

The cabin was awesome it was so clean and quaint and comfortable. The accessibility to the mountains was fantastic we got to see everything we wanted to run the park but I know we missed a lot as well in our short stay..Next time we will be back and stay longer! The place was immaculate. The kitchen items were easy to find and organized. We loved the porch swings and watching, and listening to the River. Being older it was hard for us to get down to the water because of a steep grade in the yard. A squirrel came to relax on the back porch.

Excellent location. Wonderful porch swings. Great views. Comfortable beds. Everything very nice. Could have used more than 2 washrags and four towels for 5 days. Laundry mat nearby but extra expense. Had already washed bedspread and blanket to freshen it. Nice decor and kitchen.

Riverside Paradise was exactly what I had hoped for with our trip to the GSMNP! Townsend is truly the Peaceful Side of the Smokies. Easy drive to the Park entrance. The cabin was decorated beautifully, clean, & felt very private. The back porch was my favorite spot. Sitting on the porch swing, drinking tea, & watching the Little River. So relaxing. I highly recommend this VRBO.

This is an amazing property with everything you need for a great stay. The Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, tableware, everything needed for a functional stay.Check-in and Wi-Fi hook-up was a breeze by emailed instructions. The location is quiet, with a flowing river at the back.

We really enjoyed the cabin. The weather couldve been better but it worked out. I would say that to make the place even better is to have steps or path down to the river; Im a disabled vet and I cant walk that good anymore, but other than that we had a good time.

Our first stay in Townsend and at this cabin. Just what we needed! A peaceful place to relax and hang out, 20 min drive to Cades Cove and lots of eating places, grocery store, other places within couple of miles. My 17 yr old son loved the river in the backyard and fished as much as he could while we were here. He caught many trout and even kept a few to clean and cook for dinner our last night. We will definitely be back here again!!

The cabin was perfect for our needs. We didn't use the kitchen, but it appeared to have everything you would need. It was clean and comfortable and easy access to the park.

We enjoyed our stay, only two nights. If there is anything at all I would a suggest would be a nice deep cleaning. The cabin had a musty smell when entering but in all fairness it was end of January. The ceiling fans and ceiling itself had a lot of dust. Other than that the cabin was very nice and cozy.Ither

Check in was easy. Had an issue with the keypad when we tried to enter the code sent by owner and turns out the internet had reset. The owner answ we red our call and had us inside in seconds. Had a great time and was close to everything. Will definitely use this propwrty again.

We just spent 4 nights in this cozy cabin and had such a wonderful time. The river is beautiful behind the cabin , we loved sitting on the deck and just enjoying watching all the nature .lts winter now , I cannot imagine how lovely it is in the spring / summer / fall. The cabin had absolutely everything we needed . There is a IGA market super close for groceries and a nice brewery near by called The Abby. We were in the Smoky Mountains within minutes. We will definitely be staying here again !

Simple, wonderful cabin on the river.

We love visiting Townsend and staying in this cabin on the water. It is so peaceful and just far enough from the main highway that the only sound you hear is the water rolling over the creek bed. We'll be back again!

We have been coming to the Smokies for the past fifty plus years. Our stay this time was one of our favorites. The peaceful side of the Smokies is truly that. The cabin was wonderful, and all was even better than advertised. We look forward to a return.

We've stayed at several great locations throughout the years, but this cabin was a true gem and considered our favorite thus far. It was super clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, and located on the banks of the Little River making it very special stay. We are looking forward to our next visit and it gets our highest recommendations.

Townsend is delightful. The location was convenient for our itinerary. The cabin was immaculate, comfortable and simple. The property was very peaceful. Enjoyed sitting by and walking along the river. This time of year the water level was very low.

This cabin is an ideal spot to enjoy the pigeon river humming along in the sunshine from the porch. The interior is fabulously designed. Our only complaint is that the shower was not fit with safety bars and had a very slippery surface.
