Riverfront Lodge with a Hot Tub

Well, our stay was good. I love the Arkansas water. The cabin was a little disappointing. I am attaching some pictures for you to see.-gate off the patio is falling apart, nails revealed, and the iron poles are falling off-some front steps are missing the anti-slip rubber-corn hole game broken-cushions on the back porch are falling apart-every morning, the refrigerator leaks from the front I understand that the cabin is in nature, but the porch, rocking chairs, and sectional on the lower and upper floors were filthy! They have not been cleaned at all!! Spider webs and leaves are all on them. The hot tub's water was low. These things didn't affect our stay, but I wanted you to know. The inside of the cabin was clean. The kitchen was well stocked. Your prompt response to my issues was greatly appreciated.

The check in process was not simple because the instructions given were not correct. Overall, check in process took around 30 minutes and had to resolve issue with property manager. There was trash all over the grounds of the property from previous guests. It appeared that no one cleaned up after previous guests. There were misleading check out instructions on Vrbo. On the listing, it stated that there is “Nothing you need to do, just drive home safely!” However, this was not the case, and there was a significant list of check out instructions from the host.

It was the perfect place to celebrate our 10 year Anniversary weekend. We had a slight hiccup with the door code but it was fixed very quickly. The weather was chilly and rainy so we enjoyed the hot tub and were glad it was covered. It would be nice if it had a privacy fence around it. The downstairs bedroom was soft and comfortable. We need to use an extra pillow at night, they were supplied but had no pillow case available. It was a fully stocked kitchen and had nice appliances. Couches were starting to show signs of wear but still comfortable. The digital thermostat on heat would only go to 74 and the downstairs was cold especially the floor in the bathroom. The upstairs was hot. I was confused because on looking at the cabin on vrbo it said you didnt have to do any cleaning.....just head back home, but in the kitchen was a list of things to do like stripping the beds, gathering towels, starting a load Laundry, running the dishwasher and taking out the trash. I did all of those things because i was afraid if we just left to go home, we would be charged extra and this cabin was already pricey. We slpured since it was our Anniversary. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Nice cabin right on the river! Pertfect for a relaxing
