Stayed Apr 5, 2024Amazing cabin on the little red river. Host were very kind and we were even treated to a huge eclipse cookie and eclipse veiwing glasses for a one in a lifetime event. Thank you again! I hope to have the privilege of staying here again in the future

Stayed May 31, 2026We did enjoy our stay overall; however, we were disappointed that we were not informed in advance that there would be active construction on both sides of the cabin. The noise was significant throughout the day, and we were unable to fully enjoy the deck until after 5:00 PM each evening.The construction workers were polite and respectful, but having numerous unfamiliar workers around the property during our stay was somewhat uncomfortable, especially since we were traveling with our teenage daughter.We also had a maintenance worker arrive while I was alone at the cabin looking for a downstairs area, even though the cabin does not have one. That interaction was unexpected and made me feel uneasy.While we may consider returning in the future, we will definitely be asking more questions before booking. We believe guests should be made aware of nearby construction and any potential disruptions before their stay.

The view to the river was beautiful, and the screened in porch was comfortable and very peaceful! Fishing wasn’t the best, but we still had a wonderful time! We will definitely be back! Would recommend this property!

Stayed Oct 18, 2025We had a wonderful time staying in this cabin. The host was very prompt with responses, everything was in good working order (we did have one night where the smoke alarms went off for no reason) and comfortably appointed. I would like to return in the future.

Stayed Mar 15, 2025Enjoyed a really nice break with the family here! Accommodations were great! Very comfortable with a short walk to fishing dock if you don’t have your own boat. Also has a lot of great parks and activities nearby as well.

I was disappointed that the marina was not staffed for bait or boat rental. I have been going there now on 20 years and stayed in most of the cabins and yours was as nice as the rest. I miss when there used to be a restaurant and bait shop with boat rentals. I tried calling several time before my visit but no one answered at the marina.
