Riverfront Cabin, 5 min to Smoky Mountains National Park! Fish in backyard!

We loved our stay. Wish we had more time! We got married while we were there too!

Loved this cabin. Right on the river and the back porch swing was the best place to enjoy it. Cozy and relaxing, the fireplace was the cherry on top for the cooler nights.

Very clean and open space. The cabin was close to the Cades Cove road and near grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants. Bed was super comfy and the cabin was decorated nicely. Although there were cabins close it was still very quiet. The river behind was absolutely beautiful and the sound of the water flowing down the rocks was calming and peaceful. Parking was ample. Just overall very happy with the cabin.As a matter of fact I opened VRBO to see if it is available foe our dates next year!!

we had trouble checking in, was told check in was at 4.00 we were there 15/20 min tried to check in code would not work. Called verbo they said sometimes lock stuck. After talking on phone finallyt figure out it had to be no earlier than 4 to check which would of been fine if the instruction was stated.other than that the stay was great. Owner came and talked to us was very nice just a little miscommunication

Location is great

We had a blast. We were up for a wedding on Saturday and totally enjoyed our stay. The wedding was at a nearby vineyard, and the cabin was in a close location to everything. We will be back.

This was such a relaxing long weekend. The cabin was just what we needed. The location is perfect. Flowing river view from the back porch. Lots of things to do in the area and away from the big crowds. Highly recommended

We have stayed here several times before and as always it was terrific. Cabin is clean and a good location. We love sitting on the back porch and listening to the river. Although the cabins are close to each other, we have always had good neighbors. Book this cabin if you get a chance.

We really enjoyed being next to the river and the property in general. It is a fantastic location. The geese and other wildlife were great to watch. The river is fairly noisy (good for a while), but you can retreat inside or sit on the front porch instead. I had to contact the property manager via the VRBO app after arriving for the access code because we had not received it on time. After some minutes they responded and remotely unlocked the door. A while later they were able to send us the code. The amount of toilet paper was not sufficient for our 5 night stay so we had to buy some. The TV is mounted too high to be viewed from the couch for no apparent reason. The height cannot be adjusted. We had to move the couch back as far as allowed by a bed to make it usable, but still suboptimal. The shower is small. Useable, but tight. There is enough space to have put in a larger one. The microwave has a nightlight that can’t be turned off. We had to unplug it at night as it disturbed my wife’s sleep. There was no hair dryer, so bring your own.

Very clean, location great and owner very nice and helpful. We were a few minutes early notified him and he unlocked cabin early for us. Only about 15 minutes early but very nice he opened it and let us in. Definitely will go back.

We loved the simplicity of this cabin and the beautiful river view! We enjoyed fishing on the river, walking to Townsend restaurants and the 5 minute drive to the park. A great location for a getaway. The cabin is clean and simple. The bed is comfy and the porch is a perfect place to spend the mornings and the evenings watching the river go by. We were blessed to meet the host, Scott. A great guy and a friendly host.

We were in town for the Bronco Celebration. The cabin is in a perfect location near the event field and for relaxing by the river. It was very clean with a really comfortable bed. The shower is a tad small but certainly works to get you clean. Plenty of parking space, even if you are towing a trailer. We had the opportunity to meet the owner and he was extremely kind and friendly. Overall, we had a wonderful week, even if there were some pretty heavy rains at night.

We were just passing through but loved the location! Cabin was perfect for what we needed, wished we could have stayed longer!

We loved this cabin and would stay again. Weather was a little chilly for what we wanted but we thoroughly enjoyed it!

The cabin is situated in a great area. We are big Townsend lovers. It’s right on the creek, and so close to everything you need. We are very picky on cleanliness. Our expectations are high. This cabin had great reviews on cleanliness, and that’s the main reason for choosing it. I usually only look at reviews on how clean accommodations are when choosing where to stay. I think we may have hit a bad day for it. The floors were not swept. The bathroom rugs were dirty, The towels didn’t smell well, and we found hair on all of them. When we went to go to bed we decided to run to the DG and get a lint roller for hair. One pillowcase on the bunk beds was not washed at all. The pillows were flat, and could be updated. We also found some blood on the side of the bed. I always bring cleaning supplies, so we got it wiped down. Our second day we went and purchased new pillows, pillow cases, and towels. We made the best of it, and thoroughly enjoyed a fire by the creek in the evenings. Our host was easy to communicate with, and super nice. They gave us a great hiking suggestion that we really enjoyed.

We had a very relaxing week, with great hikes, wonderful food, and the cabin was perfect for us!

House was adorable, right on the water, and close to everything. It's not secluded, but we knew that based on the location. It was clean and well- maintained, with ample hot water. Wifi was good if you need it. It's best for a couple alone or with two younger kids. We loved it and would certainly recommend it.

The cabin was perfect for our needs. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the sound of the river and was so beautiful with the snow. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved the cabin and the area. It's beautiful without all the busyness of Gatlinburg. Cabin was clean some cobwebs on light fixtures if I am being picky. However, floors, bathroom, etc all very clean and sanitary. Only disappointment was the fishing. We thought we could do some fly fishing but saw not one fish. Asked locals about it and they said that area wasn't great for fishing. Still wonderful to sit by the water though!

We really enjoyed our stay in Townsend. This cabin was just perfect for our family of 4. We enjoyed making a fire by the river. The cabin is right in town so not secluded but close to everything. It was so close to Cades Cove we went to drive around it three times! Great for easy park access. It’s small but had everything we needed except fire wood. We were able to buy firewood next door at the ace Hardware store. Would stay again for sure.

Nice little cabin, perfect for just the two of us, and a peaceful retreat from the crowds. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch listening to and watching the Little River go by. Very easy to access and close to anything you might need while there.

Loved everything! Sitting and rocking listening to the river flow was incredible! We did not want to go home.

5 stars all the way!!! We stayed in this beautiful charming cabin for four nights, it’s very clean and cozy with a back porch and a swing plus two rocking chairs. The cabin has a full-size refrigerator, microwave, stove and coffee pot. The cabin is just a few minutes from town which includes restaurants and gift stores.

This is our second time staying in this cabin. We absolutely love the location! Nothing better than sitting in the swing with a cup of coffee listening to the river running over the rocks. So peaceful. Only issue was the coffee pot leaked so we had to go buy a new pot. We will definitely be back! Thank you! Wnot work

Very relaxing trip in a comfortable cottage, with a stream right in your backyard. We loved sitting on the back porch, listening to the stream and enjoying nature.

The cabin was perfect for a quick 3-day getaway for my wife and son before school starts back. We enjoyed being right on the river where we could get in the water and also watch tubers going by. It was also conveniently located with restaurants, stores, and a gas station nearby. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay!
