Very clean and comfortable cabin. We had everything we needed. Will definitely return in the cold weather. Just a suggestion, though. When the weather is extremely hot, turn the air conditioning on a few hours before guests arrive. It was 95 degrees in the cabin when we got there and took several hours to cool off.

Cute, very clean, good view of the river. There are a lot of nice touches, games, fishing poles, lots of blankets, toiletries etc. No true river access on property but great access just down the road.

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. We didn't get a chance to fish but that was our fault for being busy. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows was very thick(we like thinner pillows). The place was nice but the lighting is not very bright. The a/c cooled off the cabin pretty quick as it was off when we got there & the temp in the cabin was 83. We would stay again if we come back to the area to stay the night.

We loved this place from the moment we pulled in. The back covered deck has an awesome view of the King River. We watched a flock of turkeys roost across the river along the edge of a field the first night we stayed while the river rolled on by. Very comfortable and cozy place. We will stay again if ever in the area. A

This was our second time staying, but it was just as magical as the first. The cabin is perfect, and very clean and cozy. The back deck and view is by far our favorite part about this place, and there are plenty of blankets provided to keep you warm in the colder weather!

When we decided to celebrate our honeymoon in the Eureka Springs area, we looked at dozens of cabins on the Internet. Finally, after dealing with choice overload we decided to settle on The Blue Heron Cabin on Kings River. There weren't many pictures on the website so we were a bit skeptical. When we arrived and opened the door we were very pleasantly surprised. What we saw before us was a very pristine little log cabin, immaculately clean; and very cozy. We would highly recommend the Blue Heron Cabin on Kings River to anyone interested in a vacation in this area. Also, there is another cabin just a short distance from it called Kings Cabin. The first day we were there no one was in Kings Cabin so we peaked in the window. The two cabins are basically a mirror image of one another. So while we haven't stayed at King's Cabin, I can still say with confidence it would be just as comfortable and charming. One last thing, in looking at other reviews someone had mentioned Dogwood Springs Canyon. It is about 30 minutes away and a great place to spend a day hiking. Very nice family friendly area preserved for the promotion of nature.
