River Frontage Cottage is located on 115 Acres

The cabin was very clean, inviting, and comfortable. The property was quiet and beautiful. My family had a great time, from walking down to the river and taking in the serenity, to barbecuing, taking an evening dip in the pool, and playing games with friends, it just made of an incredible experience away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We can’t help but to thank Jack for his hospitality and his wonderful property that you can tell he takes great pride in and would greatly recommend to anyone looking for that quiet place you could get away to!

Nice little place , peaceful area , it worked well for what we needed.

The cabin was tucked away and felt really safe. Accommodations were fit for large families and the owner was very friendly. There was a pool outside and the inside was very clean. There were appliances ready for use and a nice back porch. I'd be happy living there.

We had a great time. Jack is a very accommodating host. Would like to go back when it’s cooler.

We had an amazing time! Nice house with everything that you could possibly need. Very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed swimming in the river, looking for artifacts and jumping in the pool. Owners are very nice and quick to respond. We will definitely be staying here again!!

- communication with our host before and during our stay was prompt and gracious - although dated, the house was extremely clean and was equipped with absolutely everything we needed- it rained throughout our stay but the covered porch allowed us a little outdoor time - very pretty property and dog-friendly, which was a priority for us. We did not get to enjoy all the area had to offer but would def recommend this place for anyone with kids or dogs, looking for a lil country getaway.

In the description and photos it indicated that there was a pool and jacuzzi and there was no pool and he did not want to lend the jacuzzi, the gentleman was attentive but he was watching us the whole time. We went to the store and he thought there were more people so he left angry, I had reserved 2 nights and we could only stay one day, it was uncomfortable, the only good thing is that nature is beautiful, and everything is clean but I don't think I'll go back

Nice and quiet and convenient to everything.

My children loved this place better than hotel's we've stayed at. They loved the pool and actually got to enjoy it, vs hotels. There was plenty of room to roam and go on hikes. I loved the softness of the sheets and the dishes!! There was plenty of sleeping room for everyone! We would have been cramped in a hotel room!!

My family had the best time on our Staycation. We wanted a place in the county but only had a few days off. This was a perfect setting 30 minutes from home. Beautiful ranch alongside Salado creek and the San Antonio river. Lots of room to roam and mountain bike. The cabin had plenty of space for our family of 4 adults and 2 children. The cabin was well equipped with everything needed for my birthday celebration. We had a cook out by the pool. Made homemade icecream, then hiked down to the river. We loved this place so much that we would like to come back for a longer stay. The host was a great guy!

Beautiful property, comfortable cabin. Kitchen was well equipped complete with washer and dryer. Everything was clean and well kept and the owner was responsive and friendly. We wanted for nothing while we were there. Will definitely be staying there again!

Stay was nice and quiet! Was able to go fishing and relax! Property manager was nice and very helpful.

This home had so much to offer. The pool, outdoor seating, fridge with an ice maker and filtered water were such a bonus. Jack was so helpful and offered to drive us around the acreage. Air conditioner was a little loud - especially at night. Can’t wait to come back and stay again!!

Not the Hilton but if you want a place that you can all be together for a very reasonable price then this is perfect. Host was very nice and helpful. Older unit but everything was provided and clean. No bugs inside but you are out in the country a bit so plan on enjoying nature.

This place is a great home to enjoy peace and quiet. It’s a lovely piece of property and the owner is very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. There is lots to explore on the property and the house can sleep a good number of people. I’ll definitely go back for some R & R!
