House and property where amazing very quiet and relaxing
The property was very nice, and very comfortable for 6 adults. We enjoyed the scenic view from the decks. The kitchen was well-equipped. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had, both before and during the stay. The home is very secluded - be careful on the roads leading up to the property! The only negative was that the hot tub was not very clean, and the owner was unable to get anyone to clean it during our stay, so we were not able to use it.
What an incredible week in this amazing cabin. The cabin was immaculate and stocked with everything to enjoy our stay. The cabin was decorated beautifully and comfortably. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. Each room had window shades and many had blackout shades. The kitchen was well stocked. My toddler loved the play kitchen and blocks upstairs. We enjoyed playing UNO and hide and seek on rainy days. The house was amazing, but the real treasures lie outside. The two covered decks that wrap around each level were wonderful. There was deck furniture to lounge and enjoy coffee or cocktails as well as tables to enjoy your meal. The covered hot tub was a wonderful amenity too, especially in the rain. It is 96 steps to the riverfront from the main deck. It's a trek, but it's so worth it. Our favorite thing to do was float the river and enjoy smores at the firepit. We would walk to the lodge next door and float to our house, about a 10min float. Our kids enjoyed kayaking down the river as well! From the deck, you can hear the constant flow of the river - a wonderfully peaceful sound you can enjoy by opening the master bedroom doors on crisp morning. Items of note. Once you enter the community, it is a 20 min drive up windy mountain roads to the house. Steep hills and sharp turns. Would not recommend navigating first drive at night. Forget the kids bikes, which were not an option on these wild mtn roads. The closest grocery store is a solid 35mins away. Prepare accordingly.
This home met all of our needs plus more during a chilly Spring Break getaway! The view of the river from the wrap around porch was amazing especially with the sound of the river flowing. We enjoyed the fire pit out back and the hot tub too. The lower level had a pool table and ping pong table which made for lots of fun with lots of comfortable seating to watch movies while the wood burning stove was lit. If we'd needed more fridge space there was a full working one down there too. On the main level we had plenty of seating with a full stocked kitchen. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice and accommodating! Take note that the roads to get to the cabin are steep and windy. You definitely need to pay very close attention and drive very carefully. The hosts were very nice and accessible if needed. We would definitely recommend this house if you were wanting to get away from the hustle bustle of city life. We'd love to come back.
House had everything you need, including a trout river in the backyard. We loved it.
The cabin was perfectly situated up a mountain with a river adjacent to it. The last section of road leading to the cabin requires your attention. The lower level area provided great fun as we used the pool table and ping pong table, lounged on the huge sectional and watched football on giant screen tv. There is a huge bathroom and separate kitchen on that level as well. We cooked in the full kitchen and ate at the dining room table on the main level. This was also a gathering place with a sofa, gas fireplace and another big screen tv. The gas fireplace did not work but Oz did everything possible to get it fixed. When the repairman could not fix it, Oz immediately offered us a nice discount. Oz was great to work with. There is a great porch, patio all around. Two nice bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. The internet was slow but that was disclosed on the listing. All in all, it was great getaway for our family and we would recommend staying here.
We absolutely loved our stay! Cabin was beautiful, view was perfect. Can not wait to go back. Host was very pleasant and helpful.
We had the family vacation of a lifetime! The only thing better than the lodge was the secluded location. It was a trip that we will never forget and definitely recommend to others.
The stay was great overall! Loved waking up listening to the sound of the river. A lot of space great for a family
This is a great place for a family. Plenty to do, fishing, swimming, kayaking. Private and quiet. Incredibly clean and well stocked. We have a wide age range of kids and everyone loved it and had plenty to do. The owners were easy to contact. We loved it and highly recommend!
