Stayed Sep 12, 2025The house was clean and comfortable. We spent lots of time on the deck--reading, watching the boat traffic, and enjoying the ducks. The short walk to the beach opened up to a great view of the bay.

Stayed Aug 6, 2025The view was just what we needed. The patio is comfortable and beautiful. The house had what we needed and was comfortable. We were looking forward to using the gazebo but it really needed a good cleaning so we didn’t use it. It would only take a little TLC to make this property perfect.

Stayed Jul 31, 2024My parents and I stayed at Shirley's Temple for a week and really enjoyed it. The home was updated and very neat and clean. Sitting out on the deck and watching the boat traffic on the weekend was fun! Because my parents are elderly, the size of the bathroom was a bit of an issue. It is tiny so keep that in mind if you are traveling with someone who is larger or has special needs. The location is close to all of the stores and restaurants off of Wilder Rd. and to Bay City State Park. If you're looking for a place to get away in the Bay City area, this is a great choice. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
