This was the perfect little cabin to stay in while exploring Glacier National Park. It was right in the middle of both the East and West entrance allowing us to be able to explore both sides without having to drive too far. The cabin was cute and spacious. We enjoyed having a kitchen to be able to cook in. We loved sitting out on the deck enjoying the views, however, we did wish there was a table for eating but we made do. The bed was insanely comfortable! The only suggestion we have is to get a better fan as there is no a/c and the fan that’s in the cabin does not cool a large area. The address that Expedia gives is wrong, the one on VRBO is the correct address.

Perfect location for St Mary’s. Worked great for my family. No potable water should probably be on the listing. Maybe I missed that.

It’s ok. Even though the inside has just been converted from a shed to living quarters A few details need attention.

We had a hard time finding the place - we had no service in East Glacier (we were exploring St. Mary area earlier in the day) so we didn’t get the messages Robin had sent (including one with the coordinates). The address listed on VRBO led us to a farm - and they told us turn right on the “next road (but it really wasn’t a “road”). We were also looking for a “cabin” which turned out to be a trailer so initially it was a bit of a surprise. Once we got inside, the place was very pleasant, much more spacious than a typical hotel room (which we needed since we’re a family of 5), updated nicely and equipped with pretty much everything we needed to stay comfortably. There aren’t many places where a family of 5 can stay comfortably on the east side of Glacier, so I’d recommend this place, especially if you plan to hike early in East Glacier (like Grinnell trail, etc). Pros: location (only 65 minutes to Many Glaciers! Make sure you take 464 via Browning. 89 is super scary in the dark!), spacious with comfy beds, clean (my family is allergic to dust & mold and they had no issue ), Robin responds right away, and you’ll see the most beautiful sunset over the mountain! Cons: WiFi is super slow. The place seemed not quite done - some holes on the wall, the keypad was installed upside down (!), no turntable in the microwave, etc, check-in process was not clear (someone there just let us in),.

First we did not receive the checkin information and no response from the host. Headed there anyways and GPS did not bring us to the location of the “cabin”. It was nothing but fields all around us. Still no contact with the host. I contacted VRBO and after at least a hour and half it was determined we would find some place to stay for the night and get reimbursed for it. Get checked in at a motel and go out to eat. That is when the host finally calls and asks if we found it yet. We had found it by chance but again no code for door. She sent the check in code and I informed her we would be there sometime the next day. We spend the next day hiking and drive back to the cabin and use the code to get in. The cabin still had garbage in there, beds unmade and could tell were slept in, and bathroom towels hanging around. So it was not cleaned since someone else had used it. I called the host and she said she didn’t realize someone else had stayed there since and she would come clean it. As a family we were all exhausted, wanted to shower and relax for the evening. Called host back and asked to get refunded as we did not want to sit and wait for a couple hours for her to clean it to be sanitized for a new group to use. She stated it would only take about 40 minutes. Nope not even cleaning it properly it should take longer then that. She did agree to refund our money and kept saying she wasn’t sure who stayed there. Would not recommend

The cabin is in a really excellent location to explore the East Glacier and Two Medicine areas of Glacier National Park. Being a mile away from EG provided a quiet and peaceful respite after a long day hiking. The cabin was well equipped, perfect for a couple and easily suitable for a few other people sleeping on couches. I believe the challenge of finding the cabin has been resolved with the owner and shouldn’t be an issue going forward..

The location is great. They are working to make it a nice place. But it was hard to find as my map app sent me to the wrong place and they didn’t give me great details at check in. Also they are working on the other buildings on the property currently so it is hard to come and go easily. It seemed as if many things weren’t finished yet (head boards weren’t attached to beds but were left leaning on the wall). It is a great location and easy to get in and out of the park and with a little work it will be better. But not quite what we were expecting.
