We did a very last minute booking and boy was I glad we did! Snow covered the ground and lightly dusted the trees. Not a single noise. No traffic, no neighbors, not a light in sight. The cabin itself was absolutely beautiful with everything you could possibly need. And I do mean everything! It was so very peaceful and calm and relaxing and I'd love to come back!

The lodge is beautiful. The contact with the host was efficient and helpful. I will try to book this again with a return trip with family.

The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It was close enough to all the attractions but also far enough away to enjoy the quite serenity. The cabin is secluded, you cannot see another cabin from any portion of the lot. All the beds were comfortable and the internet worked just fine The outside porch areas are spacious and comfortable, more than enough room for everyone to relax. This is a great find for any family or group looking for a comfy cabin in the Hocking Hills area.

Beautiful house, perfectly maintained and set up for guests. More than I hoped for to ensure a good time and even impress family. There’s more to do around the area than you would expect and beautiful sights.

My wife and I stayed at the cabin for a week and it was amazing. The cabin sits back in the woods, far away from distractions. It was bright, clean, and very well taken care of. We loved how the woods opened up to reveal the property surrounding the cabin. We enjoyed coffee in the morning and dinners at night out on the open deck.If you are looking to get away from it all and rest, this is the cabin. We have stayed at cabins for the past seven years now and this is the best one so far!

Rising ridge was so beautiful and clean the pictures don’t do it justice. Even if the weather wasn’t perfect, you can still have a great time with all the stuff they have at the cabin. Definitely rent out this cabin again.

Everything was great - with two exceptions. First (and less of a big deal) was that we were prompted to buy firewood from BookHocking, as we were told that there was no wood at the house. When we got there, there was a full rack of firewood for use - so our purchase was completely unnecessary. Secondly, and most important - the master bedroom bed was horribly uncomfortable! There was no support whatsoever. If the mattress gets replaced, I would definitely return.

The location, although a little bit far from the main Hocking Hills attractions, it is a quite location, and the house has everything that you can think to have a great cozy time. FYI: I would suggest to work on the gate. The lock gets stuck went it is very cold, so the key does not fit well and gets difficult to open it. Plus, the gate door swings fast back and can hit your car if you stop closer to the gate. A rug in the bedroom downstairs is a mortal trap, very slippery, so be careful. Best.

House is breath taking, quiet and private. All amenities were top notch. We loved the charcoal grill and hot tub. The fire pit was cozy and nice location. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed.

The cabin is stunning. Everything was clean and ready for our stay. The hot tub was not functioning. The jets and lights turned on but the screen was broke so we could not adjust the temp. We sent an email to the host and they assured us the temp was at a safe 100 degrees. They stated the previous renters had damaged the screen and we were still able to use it. After 10 minutes in the hot tub, our group was freezing and got out. A member of our group ended up with a bacterial skin infection due to lack of temperature in the water. The host was unwilling to adjust our rental fee for lack of use. The town of Logan was approximately 15 minutes away and the same for The Hocking Hills. The cabin is very secluded and peaceful. Had the hot tub been functional, I would have gave this rental 5 stars across the board. Since the host knew the damage to the tub had happened with the previous renters, we should have been warned (to make our own judgment call to stay) or discounted. The check-in process was a little cumbersome since we never received the email as expected. The host was able to call us with the information the morning of our check-in but it would have been nice to have the address prior to leaving for the 6 hour drive.

Clean , quiet , beautiful , comfortable cabin close to everything , but away from the noise and light pollution. Deer frequently visit and the hot tub is the perfect way to recover from those long hikes! We have rented many cabins over the years , and this was without a doubt , the best ever.
