Ridgetop Views, Hot Tub, and fenced in yard for pets!

The property was gorgeous, awesome view looking out from the front porch, quiet setting and everything was clean, in great shape and exceeded our expectations in every way.

This place was wonderful! It looks exactly like the pictures! It was clean and cozy! The host responded immediately to any questions I had! The hill to get to the cabin is very steep but once you’re at the top it’s great! We fought with a few bugs but its in the woods as to be expected! Plenty of towels and every dish we needed was available! Went for my 10yr old surprise Birthday and would definitely choose this place again! Thanks!

Great location and lovely house! Wehad 6 adults, one kid, and one dog and the place was wonderful. We spent a ton of time on the large deck enjoying the weather and views. It was nice that it was covered, because even with some drizzle we could be outside and in the hot tub without getting wet. The deck has a gate so that dogs are contained in that area, but then to get to the fenced yard you must go inside and through the rear 1st floor bedroom. The fenced yard area was pretty small but did the job in terms of my brother being able to let the pup out without a leash, and it was great that the deck was also gated and there was a gate to keep the dog up or downstairs. The house had everything we needed and was very cute and comfortable! It was about a 20-25 minute drive to the big Hocking Hills attractions (Old Mans Cave etc) but that wasn't an issue for us. Really enjoyed the scenery and solitude!

Pet friendly, but the kitchen was pretty dirty upon check in, particularly the fridge and sink. All of the furniture was very uncomfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. The space was perfect for our family. Our dog was able to go right out the bedroom door into a secure area. We went exploring at Ash Cave-Cedar Falls.. stopped at the frozen yogurt shop and pizza crossing. Both were good. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. We had a fire out at the fire pit (we left some wood for the next person) and made hot dogs. We always bring games to play but there are some there, stored downstairs in the table- I didn’t realize it until the day we were leaving. It’s nice to get away, disconnect with wifi and just enjoy your family and the surroundings. I would recommend a stay here! The only things I’d suggest based upon staying at other cabins:Aluminum foil, storage containers (clearly labeled they are to be washed, remain there). The less you have to bring the better (for us anyways) especially because it was a 4hr drive. Thanks again!

Yes, they accommodated us to another house since I couldn’t make it up the hill when we had a bad snow storm. We appreciated them sooo much!

The cabin was great and love that you decorate for christmas. Are did fine a hole in the fence and got out luckily he came right back. But loved the hot tub and the cabin

Everything was clean and comfortable, we had a fun stay and enjoyed using the hot tub, fire pit and charcoal grill. Unfortunately we had to buy our own dish soap and dishwasher detergent as none were provided that we could find.

Cabin was a nice set up and had all necessities we were looking for. Only complaint was tv size for watching college football and bugs in all the lights. Besides that we enjoyed our stay and was reasonable drive to Ohio University.

We really enjoyed our stay, there was a little fenced in pet area right off the main floor bedroom which was perfect. The hot tub was warmed up and ready upon arrival, the deck was the best spot to relax and unwind. I would absolutely recommend this place if you're looking for a great place to unplug and reconnect with friends and family!

Good overall. Some of the curtain rods need repair. Fenced yard does have some holes that smaller dogs can get through. One of ours managed to get out. Fortunately she didn’t venture far.

Host was very responsive and helpful. House was beautiful and clean.

We enjoyed our stay here, loved that it was pet-friendly, and very quiet. Internet and phone service was spotty, but it provided us the opportunity to disconnect from devices and reconnect with each other. Excellent communication from hosts!

Nice cabin, good location. Had everything needed for the most part. A mop or swifter would have been nice to do a quick clean of floors especially since we had rainy weather. The dust pan for broom is worthless.

It is a lovely pet friendly place. The air conditioning was having issues over the weekend. Very nice!

We came to Nelsonville to check out Hocking Hills. We were happy with the cabin, especially the secluded property. The fenced in area was great for our dog. The bedrooms were all comfortable and the amenities made it feel like home. The only thing this group of moms would have liked was a better internet connection to keep the kids busy at night lol. Overall would recommend this cabin to others!

We had a lovely weekend! The cabin was very cozy and we had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I would definitely stay again.

The listing was just as it appeared in the pictures. It was clean and had what we needed for a few day trip!

very big house, great amenities. only downfall is it's a very, very steep driveway. due to the weather i had to leave my car at the bottom. obviously no fault of the owner. but if you're going in the winter, make sure you have 4 when drive

The driveway is a little rough and would definitely have to have 4x4 in snow. The cabin itself was nice. I have never stayed in a rental that left used condiments, cheese in the refrigerator and opened cookies on the counter. The electricity went out and although Nick answered my call it would have been nice that he reach out to us seeing how he was in the know and we were not. The mattress' have no mattress protectors and the shower liner needs replaced.

The overall stay at this place was acceptable, but unfortunately corners were cut in the construction of the building. We tried to reconcile this issue with the owner privately, but they would not make the issue correct. The handrail on the rear steps does not have a mid rail or adequate protection to keep small people or pets from falling. Unfortunately our dog fell approximately 6 ft down and required an emergency vet visit. Thankfully he is fine but this could've easily happened to our children. This is due to the negligence of the owner in following building code. It's impossible to know what other corners were cut. I wish we did not have to post this, and the owner would have made this right due to their negligence in following code. However we do want to make others aware of the safety issue at this place. Beware pet owners and parents. Because of the way this issue was handled we will be sure to never stay with Nine Pines Vacation Rentals again. ownersowners and parents.

Large beautiful cabin with fenced in yard and hot tub. The owners were friendly and helpful. Internet was spotty; which is probably expected in the middle of no where. Recommended for a get away to Hocking Hills

I booked the cabin for an early Thanksgiving as my Son-in-law was leaving to join for the Army on the 18, today. It was perfect!! It had everything you need, the hot top was a hit and it was a great place to unwind and have a bit less f family time before he left. Thank you so much! Would definitely recommend!!

Weekend get together with family since some live overseas.

The property itself was nice and the owner was quick to respond. The place had many concerns for cleaning, its needs a very good deep cleaning some things were a little concerning.

This house was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Although internet access is almost non existent we had a great visit.

we have stayed in hocking five times & this place has been one of the best! we had 11 people & everyone had plenty of space. my dog also loved it here so much & the dog gate’s helped so much! totally would recommend this cabin

This cabin was perfect for our group meet up! It was easy to find and had everything we needed for a weekend of playing board games and relaxing!

We had a very peaceful stay here in a beautiful location. Was definitely a nice getaway to hang out in the hot tub for a little bit and then end our night with a fire and s'mores. The inside of the house was also beautiful and very spacious. The basement was a perfect place for us to relax and olay some card games. 10/10 would recommend :)

We really enjoyed this remote cabin. It gave total privacy and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the entire Hocking Hills area.

Cabin was exactly as described. It was away from other cabins and secluded. Very nice and private. Would definitely stay again
