Stayed Apr 25, 2025I think they could do better cleaning the inside of the cabin. The outside area had old cigars and cigarette butts on the ground. The one lounging chair by the fire pit was broken. The grounds are muddy. Neighbors dogs barking all the time and 2 staffers spent a good amount of time checking out a bout left on the property. Ceiling fans were very loud inside. 3/5.

Stayed Jun 8, 2026Not at all as described! Dark and scary. Nothing nearby for walking. No lake. Could not have been any more disappointing!!! I was truly afraid to stay there. A few houses on a dirt road off of another dirt road. No “Village” feel as described at all! Couldn’t wait to turn around and go home. Nobody would enjoy staying in n this dark depressing and scary spot!!!

Stayed May 22, 2026Everything was as advertised! The cabin was adorable. As mentioned, the doorways and beams were low. The shower was also very small. But the location was perfect, Grand Lake is a beautiful little town. My husband and I had a great time hiking the East Inlet Trail up to Lone Pine Lake and back, the trailhead is only a few minutes drive from the cabin. We hope to be back soon.

Stayed May 2, 2026The location is excellent and we loved the true cabin feeling. This is a true old fashioned cabin and was exactly as described. The location could not be better because it is located within a small aspen grove, so it feels more remote and secluded than other options this close to town. It is also a short walk to Main Street, the beach, food, and endless hiking trails. Also walking distance to the market, if you need snacks or food. Everything you’d need is available within the cabin, including extra blankets, soap, and cooking supplies. We had a great time!

Stayed Apr 17, 2026Rebekah was awesome. The cabin had things we all need but are almost never provided. We loved the clean, cosiness and romanticism of it all. We loved it and will be back.

Stayed Mar 20, 2026Looked very much like the pics. I did not think about the outside space and truly missed have a nice place outside to unwind. There are chairs and a table in the front yard, but no yard. It was kind of muddy. Host was very good and reached out to check on us.

Stayed Dec 23, 2025It was a beautiful setting for our Christmas this year . This was a dream for my wife to have a quiet setting to enjoy Christmas in a small mountain cabin. We attended a candle light service at a local church and thoroughly enjoyed the service and the folks we met. For me, the cabin more than I expected and very comfortable.

Stayed Nov 26, 2025Everything was great. I loved the old rustic charm of the cabin. Past reviews have shown complaints about the shower being small and the beams and doorways being low. I felt the shower had great water pressure. I also loved the way the kitchen was fully stocked with all of the utensils and Seasonings we could have needed. If I did have a suggestion it would be to have the cabins have names to them. Otherwise if I could give more than a five-star rating I would. Thank you to The Host for helping us so quickly with the electronic lock.

Stayed Oct 21, 2025The cabin was cozy and delightfully, creatively decorated. The ability to walk to Grand Lake and the close proximity to the Rocky Mountain National Park for hiking, sightseeing and elk watching made it an ideal location for us.

Stayed Aug 9, 2025This is a great little rustic cabin, really perfect for two and of course, our little French Bulldog. It's walking distance to shops and restaurants and Grand Lake. Very clean. Check in very easy. Our whole stay was enjoyable. We enjoyed our fire circle at night. Was quiet and quaint. I would definitely rent again for another mountain retreat.

Stayed Jun 28, 2025We loved staying at this quaint little house. It's nestled in the trees so it feels private, and it's an easy to walk to the lake town. Taller people (6 feet) might struggle with the ceiling height/shower size, but you also might find that a few head bumps are worth it to stay in this cute spot!

Stayed Oct 18, 2024Return visit to this charming little cabin that we visited 5yrs ago and everything is exactly as we remember. Very cozy, quaint and comfortable and ohhh so quiet. Cooking our meals in were very practical with all the amenities. Rebekah checked in with us a few times even though she was traveling herself. Love this place and will definitely book again. Will try out a spring or summer visit.
