Remodeled Cabin, with creek, super close to Nashville

Very nice cabin

This cabin was the cutest little cabin ever ! Amanda our host was incredibly friendly,kind and very prompt at responding to messages.

This place was wonderful! It looked just like the pictures and as it’s described. I messed up when I booked it the first time and they immediately messaged me back to help me fix it. We are also new to visiting that area so we could not have been happier with how convenient the location was to everything. The gas station (Total Convenience store and BP) on the way in, was amazing and of course there was a Starbucks right there too!

Clean, close to Nashville, and quite. We will be back!

A simple and cute cabin to getaway! It was prefectour anniversary, of 28 years!! All the places that the host recommended to visit and eat was great!! I highly recommend going to the brewery, Sam’s sports bar, and walking the park near by!! If you go to downtown Nashville, give yourself 30 minute drive! It’s worth it!! We will be back!! Thanks

We absolutely loved our stay! The home had everything we needed to be comfortable and feel right at home. It was clean, well-stocked, and exactly as described. The host made everything easy, and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We would definitely stay here again and hope to return in the future!

Cabin was quiet and cozy. Set in a very nice suburb just a short drive from all Nashville has to offer.

We had such a great stay in this cabin! The cabin itself was amazing, 10/10. Rustic, full of charm and included all of the modern amenities one would need. The property itself was also very beautiful. The host was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be coming back!

We had to come to the area for a funeral and wanted a quiet, relaxing place to stay. We were so pleased with our choice of this cabin. It was cozy, well maintained and in a location that was close to everything. The stairs are a bit narrow and steep. I had to have my husband carry up my suitcase. Not something that would prevent a future stay, just something to be aware of. If we are back in the area we would absolutely stay here again. Amanda was a wonderful host!!

For a couple of years now my husband and I have been staying at the smaller cabin on the property. We keep coming back because we absolutely love everything about it. Each year we enjoy checking out this cabin as well and have been waiting for it to be avaliable to stay in. The Burton's know what they are doing!!! We have stayed in many short term rentals throughout the contry over the years. Staying at the Burton's cabins has been by far the best experience we have had yet. This is a unique stay where history has been preserved for guests to have the experience of what life would have been like over 200 years ago, but with the modern conveniences we have come to enjoy and depend on. We first stayed here because of its proximity to Nashville, more recently we have found that we love the town of Hendersonville and spend most of our time either relaxing in the coziness of the cabin or enjoy the shopping and dining nearby. This is the perfect spot for the city boy and country girl to come together and enjoy a few days away from the busy life we leave behind. The kitchen is ready to go with everything you need. The sitting area is comfy with 2 couches, lots of games, and a chess board! The front porch is a great spot to sit and relax while bird and squirrel watching. Upstairs is very spacious with one of the most comfy beds ever. The full bath has everything needed complete with great lighting for makeup application. The cleanliness is outstanding!Nothing is missing.

The cabin was amazing. We were able to have a fire on the cold nights and even grilled out. Whenever we needed something or had a question the property owner would answer in a timely manner and help when needed. The estate is beautiful and had good recommendations of places to go.

Cozy, sweet, and warm cabin. Incredibly welcoming. Rain pattering on the roof and deer on the grass, it was a memorable stay for all the best reasons.

The cabin was amazing and everything we hoped it would be! Nashville is a hoppin town but this time we decided to experience the slow, soul refreshing beauty of Tennesse and this was perfect!

The log cabin was amazing. It is located just off the highway but wildlife still comes into the yard. Sitting on the porch you don't realize you are close to the highway. 8 point buck, five doe's, squirrels and a groundhog all munched on the grass just yards from us. We need one thing and the owner was in touch and assisted us within five minutes. The cabin supplies anything you may have forgotten to pack. Thank you for a relaxing week!

We loved the beautiful cabin...so quaint and perfectly appointed. Location very convenient. Very quiet surroundings. The Bedding was very Comfortable. Watching deer in meadow near cabin during the afternoon was certainly entertaining and a Bonus.

Absolute tremendous place to stay. Such a fun experience and very clean and enjoyable. Communication was great and we needed nothing. Very close drive to anything you’d like to do. We ll be back!!!! Thank you Amanda!!!

Wonderful experience; Charming cabin!

We loved the place and will likely return. Very clean and quiet with plenty of room for 2 people. My wife was nervous each time we went in or out because there is a large wasp nest directly over the door. Also we were awakened each morning at 6:30 by the squirrels in the rafters. We were in a rural area and those things happen and didn't change our happy vacation.

It was great! Cozy and cute! To note, the stair are a bit steep but doable, and the mini fridge does not quite have a freezer. Overall, definitely want to come back! It was wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay in this home!! It was part of our Tennessee trip seeing family, visiting the Grand Ol' Opry, and the Johnny Cash gravesite (Hendersonville) and museum (Nashville). The house was extremely clean and comfortable. We loved the historic aspect of this home, and specifically chose it for that reason. It is easily accessible to Nashville. The house sits on a quiet and peaceful piece of property with stream. Thank you for a great experience!

Very easy to find! It had everything it said it would and more on the inside, even had grounded coffee which was a great touch. The inside is super awesome and is exactly how it was described. Very clean and was in a convenient location if you’re looking to hangout in town or in Nashville. It wasn’t five stars because our impression of what the outside would look like, was very different. I know it states in the description that it is a shared location. However, the porch view is the other cabin about 10 yards away, not really of the field like the pictures show. It was right next to the owners house and the neighbors house. It isn’t as secluded as it is portrayed and is right off a road. You have to walk directly in their back yard to get to the creek. However, the creek was very peaceful. Our time there was not what we thought it would be but still enjoyable and appreciate the hospitality!

We had a great time in the old cabin.It is perfectly renovated and has everything you needed.The environment is beautiful and near to Nashville.We loved sitting on the porch or in the grass just listening to the birds and watch the deer.The busy road did not bother us

The cabin was built in 1790 so the rustic feel was amazing. We had a very quiet & peaceful stay. We hope to be back soon.

This was the perfect place for a getaway. For us, it was close to family but also close enough to go explore Nashville. Very cool cabin! We loved the creek access too!

This little cabin was perfect for a little retreat. located just outside of Nashville. Was able to spend time in the city and also had some great hiking ad adventures. The host was very accommodating and the cabin had everything that we needed.

great little cabin but is on somewhat of a busy road

We loved staying here, the only downfall was the busy road that it is located on. Other than that, the cabin was immaculate and was everything we’d hoped for.

We loved our stay at the cabin. It was very clean which we definitely appreciate! We had everything we needed and plenty of towels. It was very close to food options and shopping. Our phones never found the WiFi, but also didn’t contact the owner about it because we were trying to unplug and looked at it as a blessing! Also guessing it was a fluke and probably just needed the router to be reset. Thanks for having us!! We would definitely stay again.

It was a nice cabin and in expensive.

We absolutely loved the cabin and the authenticity. It was very clean and cozy. The location for us was great. We slept great. Enjoyed the porch and walking by the creek after a crazy day on broadway.

Very quaint cottage. Needs outside lighting as very dangerous, there are uneven stones leading to deck and one that has 2 metal handles built into it that can very well catch the front of your foot and is a tripping hazard. A full refrigerator/freezer would be nice but likely this is a short stay accommodation so may not be needed. Should consider filling in some of the areas that allow wind through the logs for cooler months. Each cabin should have its own bonfire pit as well as it is not desirable to join in front of someone else's cabin. The stairwell to the bedroom is steep and maybe add handrail at mid-waist. From the pictures and description, we thought this was more secluded but we were close to the road and could hear the traffic. Overall cute and loved it!

Very beautiful updated historic cabin! My husband and I really enjoyed our 25th wedding anniversary stay. The cabin is only a short drive to Nashville and everything you could ever need is right there in Hendersonville. The stream is beautiful and the host (Amanda) is right there if you need anything.

We loved the quaint little cabin and the area. Very accessible to the Nashville area. We unfortunately visited during an unusually cold time of year and it caused a minor issue with heat, but the hosts worked with us to keep us warm. The stairs leading to the second floor are a little steep, so anyone who has difficulty climbing up stairs should consider the smaller cabin.

I had a fantastic stay at Miss Burton's place in Hendersonville .The cabin was spotless and beautifully decorated, with the homy feeling I needed. The location was perfect, close to restaurants, shops, and the highway, making it easy to explore the area.Amanda was a wonderful and thoughtful host, I didn't really need to contact her cause the cabin was very accommodating. She provided helpful tips on things to do in the area. We especially appreciated the comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen, and the quiet and relaxing atmosphere of the of the log cabin one could hear a pin drop, which is exactly what I needed. I felt right at home and enjoyed every moment of my stay. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Nashville area. I would stay there again in a heart beat. I thank the host for having me.

We stayed here for a couple days on our honeymoon. I was expecting something more rural based on the listing, but overall it was a good distance from Nashville and we enjoyed our stay.

The bedroom was on the Second Story no way we could stay there it would have been nice to know that before we got there or booked it

Very nice cabin, clean and neat. Quite setting, easy access to restaurants and attractions.

Overall decently nice cabin. Good amenities. Main issue its full of bugs, ladybugs. Had to vacuum atleast 2-3 times a day for dead bugs on the floor, bed, kitchen, living room. Also had lady bug droppings all over the bed. Nice cabin but not the best experience

We had a 4 day stay, the cabin was so cozy and enjoyable. Definitely a great place for 2 people to fit comfortably. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to not stay directly in Nashville. Hendersonville is within 5-10 minutes and is also a great suburb with plenty of restaurants, businesses and a amazing park at Drake Creek for walking/running

We stayed here for a trip to Nashville. About 40 min drive to downtown. Great property very peaceful. Cozy small cabin. With 1700's feel and modern conveniences. Quiet and spacious away from busy interstate, but close to great restaurants and shopping. If you want a great meal with many choices go to Jonathan 's.

From the pictures the house appeared to be on a secluded type property. It’s right off a busy highway. The stairs are very steep. Yellow jacket nest right off the porch. They were in the house I woke up to horrible sting from one in the bed. I’m allergic to them and have a swollen arm and pain still today. The owners response was I’m sorry. We left so they could do something about it and came back to the same yellow jackets. Got up to one on the bed this morning. The owners offered no discount for this. I would not recommend this place

Came from Louisiana to stay in this cute little cabin, and it did not disappoint!! Check in was super easy. The cabin is located on a nice creek! We enjoyed walking the property and exploring Hendersonville. Would highly recommend!!

My husband was visiting the Nashville area and had a fantastic stay at the cabin. It had everything that you would need and was really comfortable.

We had a lovely stay and hated to leave. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. Staying in a 200 year old cabin was a delightful experience, and I will definitely be back!

The best review a property can receive is if you’d want to stay again. My wife and I so enjoyed our visit, we plan to return soon. We started to tell friends in the area about the cabin so their visitors might have a special place to stay. We realized the cabin would be that much harder to reserve for future visits, and stopped. I guess being selfish is ok sometimes.

This is such a cute place to stay! Not far from the city but far enough you feel like you’re away from it all! Very relaxing quiet place! Would definitely book another stay whenever we are in the area!
