Only 10 miles from the west entrance to Glacier National Park and a short drive to the Hungry Horse Reservoir and nearby Flathead Lake, our cabins are your perfect home base for exploring everything the area has to offer. Built during the 1950s while the Hungry Horse Dam was being constructed, these cabins were simple dwellings and at one time were without plumbing or electricity. They have been completely renovated, including new HVAC and are now darling little vacation homes with a lot of character and history.

This stylish little cabin features climate controlled heating and air conditioning, washer/dryer, and a comfortable king bed. The kitchenette includes a hot plate, mini fridge as well as basic spices and a coffee bar.

The house was nice but could have been stocked a bit better. The location was great for trips to West Glacier Park.

Nice, quiet little cabin. We enjoyed the laundry units and supplies. The A/C unit kept it nice and cool too. The small refrigerator was super helpful and the Keurig machine.

Location to Glacier was very close and worked out well. We were also close to Backslope Brewery and historic Columbia Falls which we enjoyed. Inside of the cabin was spotless, bed was comfortable. Very small. Porch needs a little clean up.

Thus property is very close to everything you want to see. The cabin is roomier than many in the area, the bed is comfortable (I slept very well, which is not always the case), and it served our needs extremely well.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Red Roof Cabin at the Spotted Bear Retreat. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. The perfect place form which to visit Glacier National Park. The only downside was the dishes were not microwaveable. We were able to heat up our meal on paper towels. Paper plates, also, would have worked. All of our questions were promptly answered on the vrbo site,. My husband had a problem with a leak in the tire of our rental car and a nice man that works at the Spotted Bear Retreat helped him. If in the area, we would stay there again.

It was very clean and had everything one might need. My only negative is it smelled like candles or something like it that triggered an allergic reaction. Went to clinic in Columbia Falls and they took care of me. I have severe allergies to scents such as perfume, candles, etc. other than that I highly recommend staying here.

Grear location just 10 minutes outside of West Glacier which was perfect for early morning hikes to beat the crowds and heat and several restaurants within 5 minutes. Cabin was just lovely and perfectly comfortable. Washer and dryer were an added bonus so you dont have to bring home a suitcase of dirty laundry.

It was cute and updated, very nice that it’s close to the west entrance of Glacier. Close to Columbia Falls and whitefish, if you really need major shopping Kalispell isn’t far way.
