Just a few tips. As I have read on other reviews, the time to downtown Blue Ridge, GA from cabin is not 15 minutes; it is 20-25 minutes. I read those reviews after I booked. The main thing to note is that the last .25 of mile from road to cabin driveway is past a sign that says ALL WHEEL DRIVE needed past this point. My car did not have AWD, but was able to get it just fine in sports mode, but I had a Santa Fe. I would not recommend coming with a car that has low ground clearance. The host was amazing to deal with and answered all my questions. The only issue that I had other the the two mentioned above was that the main floor bathtub drained very slowly so my wife and I ended up just using the shower in the basement which had to have been recently been put in. Everything else was as expected...yes, there are bugs, but it is a cabin in deep woods that is to be expected...and we only found 2-3.

Cute mountain cabin… The first time you do the drive it’s intimidating. Very mountainous roads.

The host was great. Easy to contact and communication with. The cabin was private & comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen equipment. Beds and linens were very comfortable. We can’t attest to the hot tub because we didn't get a change to use it. The fireplace had a new set of gas logs that really warmed the cabin nicely. The cabin was close to the apple orchards and the zip lines. Less than 15 minute travel time for both excursions.

We really wanted to love this cabin, we drove 12 hours and when we arrived were immediately disappointed after entering through the door. The house was completely outdated inside; furnishings were old and abused. It is 25 mins from downtown not 15 as listed, for some this is ok but not what we wanted.First night we wanted to relax in the hot tub to only find it dirty and full of leaves. Some of the bed sheets were ripped. The game room is listed as having a bed to sleep, but the pump noise is so loud that you cannot sleep unless you are hard of hearing so not sure why that is even listed as an option. This could be a nice cabin to stay if they invested to upgrade the inside. The owner was helpful when the internet went down the next day, but we quickly saw true colors later on.After much discussion and the potential to having to move our dog, young son and senior mother we decided it would be best to cancel. We had a call with the owner and discussed canceling as it just didn’t meet our expectations, she told us she didn’t want us to have a bad time and agreed to letting us cancel with us paying the 2 nights along with cleaning and pet fee.I was very appreciative and thanked her only to see later she changed the listing price to double with the total matching all 5 nights we were supposed to stay! This cabin isn’t worth the original fee a night let alone double. Please use caution when reviewing the listing.

Red Apple Cabin was perfectly positioned at the top of the mountain providing picturesque views that were visible from multiple rooms in the cabin. Perfectly fitted out, this cabin had everything on offer. We were fortunate to have decent snow while there paving the way for great sleigh adventures for the kids, topped off with a hot tub and a fire pit to enjoy the tranquility. Maria the host was very accommodating and very responsive she made sure our stay was as perfect as possible. The Red Apple Cabin experience was awesome, we will be back!

My husband and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here and we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. The cabin is literally at the top of the mountain, outstanding views and the fall colors were amazing. Can’t wait to come back!
